“It doesn’t matter if you hate Odessa. Or if you think that she is beneath you. You’ll have to apologize to her if you don’t want to hit rock bottom”

When Reed was done talking to Linda, he no longer payed her any attention. He turned to his father so they could talk properly on how they are going to apologize.
“Dad, I think that we should give it a few days before we go and apologize to Aryan” reed said.

“Give it a few days? Why? We are already at this point. If we wait any longer then…. We’ll be losing everything!” Ethan said. It was his life’s hard work. He really did not dare to gamble with it at all.

“Trust me dad. I know what I am doing. Aryan…he is probably really angry now. If we all go to him, he won’t even want to listen to whatever that we want to say. But if we wait and go a few days later when he’s no longer so angry, at least he will be willing to listen to us and let us off. It all depends on Linda’s attitude. She will need to have a good attitude when she is apologizing to Aryan. She will also request to apologize to Odessa. We have to do all that we can to salvage this situation “ reed said.
Ethan thought that what his son said made sense. If they go now, they’ll only be fueling his anger. They should not do something so stupid. As long as they waited for the right time, they’ll be getting results soon.
Linda watched as her father and brother talked about how lowering her head in front of someone that she had looked down on and she really felt like she wasn’t a part of this family.
She stormed upstairs to her room angrily. No one came after her. They will usually go after her when she throws tantrums like this but no one did so this time.
Linda felt like she was will alone in the world.

Odessa who was inside the house was browsing the internet on the new phone that Aryan gave her. She had no idea that the phone was constantly being monitored.
She went on Twitter and on the trending searches was the news of a “designer” who had stolen the works of other people and even passed it off as hers.
Odessa wanted to become a designer and so when she saw the news, she was interested in it.
According to the news, the designer had used other people’s designs and claimed them as hers all these years. She always portrayed herself as an independent career woman when she was nothing more than a phony.
The headlines were pretty eye catching

Odessa clicked on the most popular post and read through it.
“A few hours into the day, an annoymous account on Twitter revealed that the persona of Linda Hall, the popular designer has always been fake. Photos of receipts and photos of her older Brother Reed Hall meeting with the principals of her schools and also him meeting with the judges of awards that she has won were released by this account on the internet today. According to the account, everything about her has been a lie. She stole the designs of other people and passed it off as hers. She did not do any real work herself. Her assistant Lena Gray is a talented designer. However, all her designs were stolen by Linda Hall. Because Linda’s family is powerful, the assistant never dared to fight against Linda. She could only watch as her designs were stolen while she was treated as a slave by her boss. Linda Hall has done all sorts of terrible things. But the shocking fact is that she bullied Miss Lena because she was jealous of the fact that Miss Lena was more talented then her. She wanted to make herself feel superior this way!”
Odessa was dumbstruck when she saw the news. So the mind of someone can be really twisted to this extent!
She scrolled down to the comments and as expected, people were cursing the woman out.
“Damn! This is huge!”
“I only see these kinds of stuff on books on tv! I had no idea that it existed in real life!”
“Bullying someone and treating them like a slave because they are better than you? This Linda should be locked in a mental hospital. There are so many people who are better than her in this world. Is she going to torture each and every one of them?
“Somebody give me a break! Some people really deserve to be beaten to death!”
There was even a person who commented , “As an independent woman who’s trying to make a name for myself in my field, I feel insulted, betrayed and used when I see this. Linda Halls was my idol. I wanted to be a person like her someday. However, all of it was just a big lie. Doesn’t she feel terrible when she cheats people like this? When the news came out yesterday, my male colleagues laughed at me badly. They all said I was wasting my time. Am I really wasting my time? I’m confused”
They were lots of likes on the comment and people were replying her comforting her and telling her that not everyone was a bitch like Linda.
Odessa thought about it and she decided to leave a reply for the person.
“Don’t let others define you. And don’t ever lool down on yourself. As long as you find happiness in what you are doing, you are not wasting your time” Odessa wrote.
She didn’t get the chance to pursue her dream. She didn’t want people who have the chance to waste it.
