“Dad, since it’s already like this, it doesn’t make a difference even if we scold her for the entire day. We should think of how we are going to get ourselves out of this situation. The best way is to apologize to Aryan!” Reed said. He just wanted his father to scold Linda a lot so that she knows what is more important and that she doesn’t go doing something foolish again when all of this is cleared up.

Ethan was finally remembered of the most important thing. He felt that his son was the only person that he could rely on. As for his daughter….he will just forget about her. As long as she doesn’t cause anymore troubles for him then it’s alright.

“Yes. We have to go apologize to him. He’s angry right now because of Linda. As long as we can get him to forgive us, he will let our family off” Ethan said. The father and son no longer cared about Linda’s career. As long as they could save the company, they will be satisfied.

Linda looked away. She was more than willing to apologize to Aryan. But she did not see how she could bring herself to apologize to Odessa. In her mind, Odessa is the cause of everything that she’s suffering right now. It’s all Odessa’s fault. So why should she lower herself to apologize to Odessa?
Reed saw the look of disdain that was on Linda’s face and he immediately knew what he was thinking. He directly rolled his eyes at her. Does she think that she’ll be able to escape it just because she doesn’t want to?
“Look here, Linda, you had better put on a good attitude when we go to apologize! If he wants you to apologize to that woman, then you had better do it! We are not in the position to be making demands here! You are the one who went to annoy someone. You definitely have to pay the price for that!” Reed was merciless with his words. He can’t let he and his father’s hard work go to waste because of Linda.
“I don’t want to apologize to Odessa! She is just a cheap slut! How can she even think of making me apologize to her? She doesn’t know her place at all!” Linda said angrily.
Then, SMACK!
There was a loud slap in the room. Linda held her cheek in pain. Her father had slapped her!
Her father, who had never laid his hands on her in his entire life had suddenly slapped her! She definitely could not let this go! This is Odessa’s fault! She will make sure to make Odessa pay for this one day!
“Dad! What did I do?! Why did you slap me?!”
“You really want to know what you did? Do you need me to spell it out for you? Because of you, our family could very well be destroyed! You lost your mother at a young age and I wanted to make it up to you but now I realize that I should never have done that! All that I did was pamper you and make you think that you can act in whatever way that you want! Are you an ingrate? Since you can’t help your brother and I why are you constantly trying to make things difficult for us? Do you even have a concience at all?” Ethan asked angrily. His daughter is really ever so stupid!
Reed looked on coldly as Linda cried from the slap. He had already explained all of these things to her before but she just refused to get it. She still goes around saying whatever she wants.
It's okay If she has this attitude when it’s only when they are here. But she will go out and talk to people who are a hundred times better that her in such a manner. How can they let her continue?
“You seem to have forgotten everything that I said to you yesterday right Linda? Is that why you are still so insistent on doing whatever you want? You think that there’s nothing to stop you? That I and dad will always be her? Since you seem to have forgotten, let me refresh your memory. You Linda, are nothing without this family. You keep crying about your studio and the career that we created for you. Well, let me tell you this, your studio is not a problem here at all. There’s nothing to worry about concerning that small studio of yours. We can just close it down. At most you will leave the country and stay elsewhere for a few years. But this time, our company is affected. The stock price keeps falling. We will have nothing if this continues and we will even have to pay off debts! You don’t want to live such a life right?”
Linda remembered that Reed had said the exact same words yesterday. She really…. Really didn’t want to lose the good life that she was living now.
“So you tell me, do you want to apologize or not? Think about it carefully. If you think that you’ll still be able to survive and do whatever you want without this family then you don’t have to care. You can continue to hold on to your pathetic pride. I won’t try to stop you anymore” Reed knew that he had to use sharp words or his sister will never learn.
“I…..” Linda knew that she could not do it. She definitely could not survive without her family.
“You can’t do it right? You know that you are nothing without us now right? Then get ready to put away that silly pride of yours! It has no use here! We have to save the company. To do that, you’ll have to bow your head and apologize to other people. Don’t try to put on airs here!” Reed said
Apologizing is the only way that they can be saved.
“It doesn’t matter if you hate Odessa. Or if you think that she is beneath you. You’ll have to apologize to her if you don’t want to hit rock bottom”
