“I said that I am going back because of my mom. It’s what she will want. She will want to see the entire family more than anything. That’s what I’ll do for her. As for other things….I’m sorry…I don’t know about them. I’ll never help them!” Aryan had already made up his mind.

Why should he help people who treated him like trash?
Dave smiled. He knew that Aryan won’t help people who made his life difficult. And as for Ray…he didn’t even want to think of him at all. He’s always acting like he doesn’t know anything but Ray is actually more evil than anyone else !
Speaking of Ray, Dave suddenly remembered a very important matter.
“Right. I just remembered. Ray asked someone to check on Odessa” Dave reported to Aryan. He even tried to find out how Aryan and Odessa met. How could Dave not know about it? He immediately stopped the person who wanted to find out. As long as he doesn’t allow it, they will never know anything about Odessa’s and Aryan’s relationship.

Aryan looked up at Dave when he heard this. “Ray is checking up on Odessa?” He asked slowly.
“Yes. He was even trying to find out what the relationship between the both of you is. But I didn’t let him know anything. As long as you don’t want him to, Ray won’t be able to find out anything” Dave said . If someone like Ray comes to know that Aryan kidnapped Odessa, he will definitely try to use it against Aryan. Or at most, he will use it to threaten Aryan so that he can get some benefits from him.
“Why do you think Ray is trying to find out about Odessa?” Aryan asked. He already had a rough idea but he still wanted to hear what Dave’s opinion on this was.
“Well, Ray is a person who will always do what will benefit him. He will never involve himself in anything that won’t give him benefits. He must be trying to check on Odessa because of you!!” Dave said. To think that Ray fell in love with Odessa at first sight is a far fetched thought. It will never happen. Or so Dave thought
However, in the future, Dave and Aryan will come to regret thinking this way. Ray did fall for Odessa at first sight. And he fell hard for her.
“Exactly. He definitely won’t care about Odessa if it isn’t because of me. How much does he know about Odessa now?” Aryan asked. Since they weren’t Prepared before this, Ray will definitely be able to find out more things about Odessa.
“Not much. He only knows that she was married and that her husband cheated on her and got his mistress pregnant. He also knows that Odessa’s parents chased her away and that the only person who cares for her is her best friend Blair” Dave said.
Aryan tapped his hands on the table slowly. “Alright. Let’s leave it at that make sure that he won’t be able to find out anything else about Odessa. Especially why she is with him Right now!” Aryan said. He didn’t really care if other people knows about it, but he can’t let someone as overambitious as Ray come to know of this.
“Alright sir. But…he already knows about Odessa. If Ray starts to get really curious about how you and Odessa got to know each other….what if he goes find Blair? Blair knows that Odessa is missing and she is still trying to find her. Won’t the fact that Odessa was…. Kidnapped be revealed then?” Dave asked. He was really worried about this.
Aryan’s frown got even deeper. He thought and thought before he finally came up with a solution for this.
“Don’t worry. I have a way to handle this. He definitely won’t need to look for anyone to tell him what happened in two weeks time” Aryan said.
“What? How are you going to do it?” Dave asked. He did not doubt the ability of Aryan. It is just that he was curious about how Aryan was going to do this.
“Mislead the person who Ray has looking into Odessa right now to think that she ran away from home after she was devastated from the divorce and her parent’s rejection. Don’t let him ever find out that she was kidnapped. As for Odessa….I will bring her with me when I go over next two weeks. Doesn’t Ray want an answer? I’m sure that as long as he sees that the both of us are “happy” together , he will stop trying to find what he can use against me” Aryan said. As for whether this “happiness” is true, Ray doesn’t need to know that. He just needs to know that the both of them are together so he can give up.
Aryan will never expect that Ray will become more interested in Odessa once he sees the both of them being “happy” together.
Dave smiled when he heard Aryan’s brilliant plan. Dave thought that this is the reason why Aryan is the boss and he is only the subordinate. Only Aryan will be able to think of such plans. Even someone who is as suspicious of everything like Ray will never be able to find out that there is something wrong.
He happily went out to carry his tasks. Nancy had gossiped to Dave in private about how Aryan treats Odessa “differently” he was really looking forward to the relationship between the both of them.
Who knows? Maybe it’s going to develop into something more as time goes on?
Dave really wanted to see that happen.
Aryan who was left alone in the office brought out an aging picture. It was quite clear that the picture was taken a long time ago. It was a picture of his mother, Rita.
Aryan sighed. The only reason he tolerated his older and younger brothers plus their father was because of their mother. She has always been worried that her sons will grow apart in the future.
