Death
His mother’s death was an excuse to validify the inexplicable hate that he has for him. At least now Henry has a reason to hate him. The real reason has always been because Aryan is the son that he just can’t control no matter what he does.

“Sir….are you going to go?” Dave asked. In his opinion, Aryan should just ignore shameless people like Ray and Henry. The both of them did not care if he lived or died before and now they suddenly want his help and they expect him to give it to them?

Aryan let out a sarcastic laughter. “Hehe….do I have a choice? Can I decide not to go?” Aryan asked. Of course if r was up to him, he will never step his foot into that place. However this time, his mother was involved. He has to go for her sake even though he doesn’t want to.
Dave frowned at this. He did not understand what Aryan was thinking. Since he doesn’t want to go then he should not go right?

“I don’t want to go either, but I don’t have a choice this time. It will be my mother’s death anniversary in two weeks. He specifically asked me to come then. I don’t care about any of the people in that house. But my mom…my mom is different. My mom has always been the odd one out in our family. Actually , I think that my brothers and I …we have some similarities. Maybe it’s because we are Henry’s sons? My mom’s genes wasn’t enough to change anything. We have always been dark and scary. For our goals, we won’t care about anything. Mom was the one who kept the family together then. Now that she’s gone, even if we can’t do what she wanted to see the most in her life, we can still tolerate each other’s presence so that we can be a complete family on her death anniversary. It’s our way of paying respects to her” Aryan said.

They obviously don’t like each other. But they have to put up with it for the sake of their mother.
Dave frowned. He could understand how Aryan was feeling. He did not have a mother. He heard from other people that he was thrown into an orphanage immediately he was born.
The only person who was nice to him was the matron of the orphanage. She treated him like her child.
However the conditions in the orphanage was bad. The matron could not even properly feed the children who were in the orphanage. Dave left as soon as he was old enough. He did not have the ability to do anything for the orphanage and the matron then, but he could take care of himself and lessen the burden that the matron had to bear all by herself
However, when he came back with Aryan, the orphanage was no longer there and the matron was long gone. She had died a long time ago.
A company wanted to buy the land and they forced the orphanage to move. The matron didn’t want to move and the company kept harassing them each day. The matron was already in poor health. She could not take it.
One day, during the tussle, she had a heart attack and died.
Dave flattened the company who did that and he made the owners of the company live a life that is much more worse than death. But it still could not bring back the matron.
He understood the feelings that Aryan had for his mother well. Besides, she has given up his life to save him. Aryan will want to do whatever he can to make sure that she rests in peace.
However, the problem here is his Father Henry!
He is using this to play on Aryan’s emotions and to force him into things that he doesn’t want to do!
Henry claimed that he loves Rita a lot and that’s why he can’t stand the fact that she has died because of his second son.
However, he is using her death to manipulate Aryan! Dave had never seen an old man that is more shameless and controlling than Henry in his life! Henry doesn’t have any bottom line at all!
“Sir …” Dave wanted to persuade Aryan to give this up. Henry and Ray are not serious about paying respects to his mother. They just want to use him. As for Aryan, he is the only one who is serious about it!
Dave hoped that Aryan could completely put his family behind him and focus on paying respects to his dead mother on his own! He did not need to see those annoying people then!
Dave saw the determined look that was on Aryan’s face and he knew that nothing he said is going to work. Aryan will still go ahead and do whatever he wants.
“Alright then. Since we already know what they are planning then they won’t be able to catch us unawares. You are not really going to help Ray and invest in his project right?” Dave asked. He used this to console himself. Now that Aryan knows what his family is planning , he won’t be led around by the nose by them at all.
Aryan smiled at this. If Ray and Henry think that he is going to help them just because he shows up at the house two weeks from now, then the both of them are lying to themselves. He will never do that. He will never help the both of them. He was going back to mourn his mother. It had nothing to do with giving the shameless father and son pair any single dime of his money.
“I said that I am going back because of my mom. It’s what she will want. She will want to see the entire family more than anything. That’s what I’ll do for her. As for other things….I’m sorry…I don’t know about them. I’ll never help them!” Aryan had already made up his mind. Why should he help people who treated him like trash?
