Chapter 80

Samantha’s POV

Heading into the meeting with Mum and Dad in his office; Renee, Romeo, Seth, Caitlyn and Raoul; follow behind me. We are going to send the messages via Greg’s phone to all the packs and see which one comes back to us.

“Do you have Greg’s phone?” I asked Dad; “Yes; I went through his messages. It’s only information that was relevant to the meetings. Only thing said about Jeremy was, he found his mate at the Maple Clan and left to be with him. He is a good fighter and Carter will probably benefit having him there. Alex and Toby found him because they held a tournament.”

I smile; my brother is too thick to realise what Tim, Toby and Alex had done. The rest of us; not so much. We knew it was a strategic move on our behalf. From the gossip coming in from Steven, the Maple Clan think it’s to keep an eye on the ladies. Jeremy is helping Carter with fight strategies and in return; him and Pedro are allowed to look after them.

“What are we going to tell everyone?” Renee asks. “I’m telling the Rocky Pride; Shining Pride are pulling out, the Turquoise Moon Pack; the same except Sapphire Moon Pack is leaving, the Opal Moon Pack; I am telling them, we have 3000 warriors ready to fight, the Iron Moon Pack 2000 warriors, the Meadow Clan, the safehouse was burnt to the ground and we are trying to rebuild and the River Clan we are telling them nothing” Dad says

“Nothing?” Caitlyn scoffs. “If we don’t get a report back; we know it’s the River Clan” Mum says to them.

Dad picks up Greg’s phone and sends the necessary messages; deleting them once he was done. “Now we wait and see what comes back to us” he says.

Renee, Seth and myself get up to leave with our mates and head down to the training area. “We will let you know if anything is said” I tell mum and dad. “Where are you going now?” Dad asks. “The training area; Master Joe doesn’t like people being late for training” Romeo says through snickers. In reality; he said he has something to show us.

We leave and get down to the little building. All the leaders including; Hendrix and his mate Alyssa are there. Toby told us about their talk and we agreed they could be trusted as there was no deception in the conversation they had together.

“What do you have for us today; Master Joe?” I ask him coming into the area. He smirks; come inside and take a seat at the left-hand side of the building. We do as he asks and Olivia is there in the centre of the training area. There are targets set up the other end of the area. “What is this all about?” I ask Rebecca, through our mind link. I am assuming all the enforcers are being asked the same thing as most eyes are focused; staring straight ahead.

“You’ll see” she says back to me. We all look around and there is more confusion on everyone’s face then what we began with. “Can everyone take a seat; I want to show you our secret weapon” Master Joe booms.

Elder Matthews and Gerry have just sat down after putting a silence and no entry spell around the building. This is a standard process; with anything we do now. Our main question is how is Olivia a secret weapon?

“QUIET PLEASE” Master Joe booms again. We all settle down. “We have been training with Olivia and her Lycan. She is special because she is half witch. Olivia?” he says to everyone. She undresses and gives Toby her clothes and she shifts into her Lycan.

We all look towards her. “It doesn’t look any different to anybody else’s Lycan” Cameron chuckles. Olivia and Vanessa snarl at him and lift up their hand. They concentrate and their eyes turn a deep purple colour. Renee and myself gasp; “What the?” Renee breathes. Olivia’s eyes turn purple when her witch side comes forward; we saw it when she electrocuted the bear in the mock fight.

Her hand is still raised in front of her and she looks directly at the targets. There is concentration all over her face. Without warning; bolts of lightning leave her fingertips and land on the targets. Causing them to explode in balls of flames.

Every single person in the training area jumped from the loud bangs. “HOLY FUCK!” I hear Rami yell out as Olivia closes her eyes and shifts back from her Lycan; collapsing into Toby’s arms.

“Is she ok?” Renee, myself and Nicole ask together. “Yes; it just takes a lot of energy. She will be our last attack strategy” Joe says back.

“How did she do that?” I hear Alyssa ask. “She is half witch; when she transforms into her Lycan; her witch-half must come with her” Cameron answers her. “Interesting!” Hendrix says looking at Alyssa. “Hendrix, what is interesting?” Alex says to him.

He smirks; “Master Joe; can you please set up some more targets?” “Yes; why?” Hendrix just smirks and heads down to the centre of the floor. “Alex, Tim; I may need the pair of you when I am done” he says. Elder Matthews is whispering with him about something but they are very quiet; we can’t make out what is being said.

He takes off his clothes and hands them to Master Joe and shifts into warrior form. That’s what we call the Cat version of Lycan form in the green and orange prides. He is half lion half man with a large golden mane showing through his black wavey hair. “Hendrix; concentrate on the targets in front of you” Elder Matthews says to him.

“Raise your hands in front of you and think of your power” he instructs him. “When you are ready; release the power at the targets” he tells him.

Hendrix eyes change from gold and brown to a bright orange colour. He lifts his hands in front of him; another explosion is heard as the targets are frozen solid. Hendrix shifts back and collapses into Alex and Tim. “What the fuck?” Rami screams. Alyssa runs over to her mate; “I’m fine, darling. It really does take a lot of power out of you” he whispers.

“Hendrix’s great, grandmother was a witch. Although his mother didn’t have any underlying powers, when he came of age; he discovered he could freeze things. His grandmother helped him learn how to develop his power; he didn’t know he could use it with his equivalent Lycan form, until now” Elder Matthews informs everyone. “We’ve been calling it our warrior form” Harry calls out. “Did he freeze you, at all Alyssa?” Tim asks looking at Toby. “No; why would he?” “No reason,” he snickers.

Toby gives his brother a death stare; I wonder if Olivia has electrocuted him by accident. “We have two secret weapons. This is getting better and better” Jessica exclaims.

Renee’s phone begins to ring. “Hello” she answers. She starts laughing; “let’s just say we know who it is Jeremy and no, Sapphire Moon have not pulled out; we just told them they had. Keep up the pretence though.” She smiles “I will and stay safe” she finishes and ends the call.

Seth, Caitlyn, Raoul, Romeo and myself all grin; “we know who our informants are” I tell everyone.
