Chap.127*The Day That Ruined Everything*
I swiftly got myself free and turned around to smack him across his face with full force. The strength I used to slap him must be too intense because he for a moment couldn't even react to it.
"I've should have listened to others when they said you are a piece of sh**" I muttered when I have turned around to face him angrily.
"I'm so sorry! I wa---," he tried to speak but then he reached for my hand again and that was when I slapped him again.
"You touch me again and I'll scream so loud that my husband will get downstairs, and you know what will happen when he gets his hands on you." I was pointing my finger at face in rage, he has gone too far.
He really thought I was some type of toy that he could only keep for pleasure. After how I helped him with a roof, this was how he decided to respect me, what a pathetic individual.
"Ayleen! Listen i--," once he saw me rushing towards upstairs, he dashed after me but only to raise his hands when I pointed him to stay away from me, "I'm so sorry, I don't know what I was thinking." He continued to apologize but I was done with him.
I was guilty of ever bringing him home.
"Garret! You need to leave." I took a deep breath and then announced.
"Ayleen! Where would I go?" He asked in a very low tone, showing me guilt and sorrow, but I wasn't falling for it anymore.
"You can stay for tonight, but in the morning, you are leaving or I'll let Garret know what you tried to do." I warned him seriously and then stormed upstairs while pushing him out of my way. I was raging like a mad bull, he really thought I would cheat on my husband because I once made a mistake.
I went inside my room and found Desmond sleeping peacefully in the bed. He looked so calm and sweet, I crawled by his side and adjust my body with him, resting my face on his chest.
"Umm, good night!" I kissed his chest and wrapped my arm around him.
"Night, love!" he replied, pulling me even closer.
The next morning, I didn't speak to Garret and finished the breakfast in silence. When Desmond left for his job, Ava excused as she had a date with Evan. I now knew why she picked Evan over Garret, that man was not a good influence.
Once she too had left, I was left alone with my baby and Garret.
"Ayleen! Listen!" he tried grabbing my attention again when I was taking Roy inside the mansion.
"Garret! Please pack your bags and leave, don't make things harder for me." I almost requested but kept my posture stern. He wasn't staying over and that was the final decision.
He didn't say anything but kept staring at me even when I had left for the inside.
"Let's give you a shower," I picked up Roy and went inside his room, the room with the kitchen.
I filled the tub for Roy, bringing his rubber duckies and adjusting the bath bubbles for him since he enjoyed them a lot.
I put him in the tub and he instantly started giggling. He was a little slow speaker, the doctors said that there was no issue and he will learn quickly.
As I was showering him, Roy lifted his face and with a very cute smile on his lips, he mumbled.
"Mama!"
My heart sank in my chest when I heard him calling me mom for the first time. The fact that I hadn't spent too much time with him ever since Garret interrupted my family, I was heavily ashamed of myself but my son's little, cute voice brightened up my mood.
"Say it again," I swiftly pulled him closer, soaking my dress wet as well whilst I stared at his beautiful, cute face.
His giggles subsided when he began to watch in the direction of the door.
"What happened?" I asked very sweetly.
I followed his stare and the sight in front of me scared for some reasons, it was Garret standing in the door like a statue.
"Garret! I'm giving my son a bath!" I frowned, who gave him the right to walk inside my son's bathroom?
He didn't speak anything and nor did he moved.
"Garret!" I began to panic at his silence and I wasn't wrong to be worried.
He suddenly lunged at me and grabbed me by my arm, pulling me up with my baby in my arms. My eyes landed on the keys he was holding, it was the keys to this room and the bathroom, why did he need the bathroom keys for?
"Garret, what are you doing? Let go of me." I shouted but my attention was diverted between Garret and my crying son.
I feared for my son's safety and then it happened. My worst fear came to life when Garret grabbed my son out of my hand and plunged him in the tub.
A loud chilling shriek escaped Roy's lip with a thud sound and my body went frozen. He hurt him, my son was badly injured.
"Garret! You as*****," I loudly screamed and fought to reach my son but Garrett grabbed me by my arm and dragged me out to the room. As he shoved me in the bed, he locked the bathroom with the keys because he knew I would try to find lock myself inside there. The bedroom door was already locked by him.
"GARRET WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I panicked when he rushed on top of me, holding my hands tightly so that I'm unable to fight him.
"Garret my baby is hurt," I was crying loudly, for a longer period of time I heard Roy whimpering in pain.
"You slapped me, you fre****** wh***," he slapped me harder with all of his strength and then repeatedly began to slap me once the anger built up more inside him.
"Of course I wanted to sleep with a free wh*** like you. Ava is someone I would wanna wife up, someone who is perfect but you! You are the nasty wh***, who seduces men when her husband is asleep." He shouted loudly while almost knocking me out with his punch.
