Chapter 39 Chapter 39

Chapter 39 Chapter 39
Xander's POV

The blue moon is tonight, meaning we'll find out if the universe has figured out that Amil is pregnant. Arvan's heat ended just in time too. At least, we hope it has.

He wants to see the blue moon tonight, but not from the bedroom window. He wants to go outside and see it.

I do too, but we need to make sure his heat really has ended before tonight. It's early afternoon, the sun shining through the large window that I left slightly open to let in the winter breeze.

From what Draven has told me, the ash-like snow has stopped falling completely, which is a good thing. No villages or towns were touched by it, so we're all hoping nothing happens.

I also found out, that my twin is pregnant. I'm happy for him, though it still sounds weird to say it. Happy, I guess all three of us are now.

Draven has his Omega, Atreus has his Alpha, and I have my Omega. For a long time, I thought Atreus and I would share an Alpha, because we're twins and that usually happens. Before we turned eighteen, we both thought we would either be Alpha's, or Omega's.

Then, when we did turn eighteen, and found out he's an Omega, and I'm an Alpha. We had to stop doing things together. Because there was always a chance, that I could trigger his heats because of how close we are. But that never happened. It was just superstition.

I think, the doctors thought that it would happen, because we're the first twins to be born to Villains in over a hundred thousand years. We were quite the spectacle for everyone, even the king of Vallan who is our uncle.

Wait, I sit up in the bed, fear sinking his claws into me. Does, Uncle Alaric, know what Silas is doing?

"Xander? What's wrong?" Arvan asks, sitting up and wrapping his arms around my arm.

"I need to talk to my brothers. Has your heat started again?" I ask, looking at him. His skin, is it, glowing?

"No, I think it finally ended. I don't feel the symptoms of it started."

"Okay. Let's get dressed and look for my brothers, hopfully, neither are busy with their fated." We get off the bed and get dressed before walking out of the room in search of my brothers.

We found them in the common area with everyone else and I walked straight to Draven. "We need to talk to Uncle Alaric."

He looked at me like I grew two heads, "Why, would we need to talk to the king of Vallan?"

"Because he might know something about Silas."

Draven's green eyes flashed with realization, then he looked at me with a serious expression and nodded. "Should we contact him through the call circle or go to him in person?"

"Do you think he would even want to see us? I mean, we kind of rebelled." Atreus asks as he walks over to us.

I look at him and notice his skin has the same glow as both Amil and Arvan. I guess, I'm going to be a father soon. I'll worry about that later.

"Why would you think he'd be mad at that? We're Villains, rebelling is what we do, if anything, he might be proud of us. Though I don't think I could say the same for what Silas is doing." Draven answered.

"True," Atreus sighs, before looking like the older brother he is. "I think we should use the visual call circle instead of leaving here. We still have no idea when Silas is coming, for all we know, he's been waiting for us to leave the barracks completely before he attacks."

I take his words into consideration, "No. Silas might be an idiot, but he's smart. You of all people should know that, Atreus. Once he sets his sight on something, he will do anything and everything to get it. And right now, he wants Amil dead. The only thing keeping him away, is Draven's barrier. We can't leave, because he could take the chance to knock all three of us out once we leave the barrier."

"He's right. Though everyone inside the barrier will be safe no matter what he does to it. It won't fall unless I make it fall, or I die. And we all know he'll try and force me to take it down. Because if the vision we had is right, he'll try his best to keep me alive"

"And we can't risk leaving the barrier."

"Exactly. So, with that settled. We use the visual call circle to call Uncle Alaric, and hope that he answers." I say, looking around the room. "I'm going to be calling my uncle, who is the king of Vallan, if you don't want to stay and watch, that's up to you. But this is important."

"It is important. That's why we will all stay." Eryx said as everyone else nodded in agreement.

"Alright then," I look at Arvan and he nods before smiling at me and holding my hand. My body tenses when he does that. Even knowing who I'm related to, he still wants to be with me.

I really don't deserve him. Taking a deep breath and looking at my brothers, I create the visual call circle and call our uncle.

He answers almost immediately. "Xander. Where are you and your brothers?" My uncle's deep voice echoes around the room.

"We're in Rotan. We need to talk, are you alone?" I ask. He nods, his fire red eyes never straying from mine.

"Is this about Silas? Your father already told me about him." He's wearing a black tunic that looks way too big for him and black pants that look too tight. The way he looks, screams vampire royalty. Especially with how he's sitting on his throne. Leaned back with one leg crossed over the other and resting his head on his fist on the arm of his throne with his other hand resting in his lap.

He's always been obsessed with how vampires look. It doesn't help that he actually looks like one despite being human. He might be in his early sixties, but he looks like he just turned twenty. With black hair the same length as Draven.

Which, now that I think about it. Draven looks just like him, just, different. "What all did he tell you?"

"Enough to annoy me. Your brother has lost his mind. We may be Villains, and I have done some shady things in my past, but I have never acted like him, so where he gets his little ideology, is beyond me. Where is Draven and his fated? Let me see them."

Draven and Amil walk up next to me, and I watch as my uncle's eyes grow wide from recognition when he looks at Amil. "By the gods, you're Relia's son."

We stare at him confused. "Who's Relia?" Draven asks him.

"Count Reginald's daughter. Or, at least she was. The girl despised being a Villain, and had me strip her status away from her. Her hair changed from this gorgeous raven black, to a golden blonde. Her eyes though, stayed a storm grey."
