Episode 25
★DIANA★
I have been searching for Silva, but he appears to be missing. Since UK is arriving at my doorstep, perhaps I can inquire whether she knows of his whereabouts.
I am certain she does, without a doubt.
"Good morning, Princess Diana," she greeted me with a slight bow.
"Where is Silva?" I asked, my expression serious.
"I believe they went on a scouting mission. Silva, along with Justin and the others," she responded, while I silently stared at her.
I suspect Silva believes I was joking when I mentioned exposing our true identity to the Alpha. He must have thought it was a joke, and instead of focusing on how to extract the girl from this pack, he left to go scouting.
"Scouting for what, precisely?" I inquired, as UK shrugged her shoulders.
"I do not have that information. Your father gave the order, and I presume they are searching for Lucia's mother," UK replied.
"What? Lucia's mother?" I exclaimed, and UK confirmed my suspicion with a nod. I was filled with anger.
They had already brought Lucia into this pack, and now she want her mum in as well?. This madness had to end. I needed to speak with Silva once more.
After a few moments of contemplation, I looked up at UK and asked, "And what has been preventing you from starting your work and visiting me?" She lowered her head in apology.
"I apologize, but I was occupied with my morning house chores. However, I have completed them now," she explained, but I continued to stare at her with irritation.
"Follow me to my room. I require a massage, and from now on, I expect you to prioritize your duties," I stated firmly.
"I will need you to be coming earlier than this, understand?" I refered at her as she bows her head a little.
"I understand," she replied with a low voice.
"Please follow me," I instructed, and she followed me.
★LUCIA★
"Lucia, this place looks absolutely beautiful," Logan exclaimed as I gave him a brief smile.
"Yes, it is stunning," I agreed as we continued to gaze at the breathtaking view of the lake.
I had taken him to the woods where Ariana had brought me the night before. It was the only place I knew, and I wanted him to experience the same awe-inspiring moment that I had.
"Come on," I beckoned him and took his hand as we made our way to the spot where I had sat with Arianna the day before, with our legs submerged in the water.
As we sat there, gazing at each other in wonder, I took his hand in mine.
"So, Lucia, can you tell me why your father wants to give you away to a man who is not your fated mate?" Logan asked, and I wasn't surprised by the question.
"Well, if I were to say that I don't know, I would likely be lying," I replied, taking a deep breath.
"Then please, tell me why," he requested.
"He's not just a man. The person you're talking about is an Alpha, and not just any Alpha, but one of the most powerful," I said, gazing out at the lake, and particularly at the fish floating near my leg.
"How did he come to the conclusion that he had to take you home as his Luna?" he asked, and I looked up at his face.
"I actually don't know when that happened. It was a conversation between him and my dad, and I wasn't present," I said, taking a deep breath.
"But as my father explained, Alpha Jackie helped him out when the pack was endangered by the vampires."
"Before he helped out, he had requested me as his Luna, and my dad agreed," I said, but Logan interrupted.
"I'm pretty sure he had no other choice but to do it, right?" Logan asked, and I shook my head. He looked at me with surprise, his eyes widening.
"Wasn't that the case?" he asked, and I replied, "No, it wasn't just because of that."
"He did it for selfish reasons. He wanted his daughter to mate with the most powerful and wealthy Alpha so that he and his pack could be protected," I explained to Logan. He was left speechless and let out a heavy breath.
"Do you think your father didn't have your best interests at heart?" he asked, and I looked at him, confused.
"I don't understand. What do you mean?" I asked, seeking clarification.
"I mean, just look at me. What do I have to offer you? Absolutely nothing," he exclaimed, feeling inadequate.
As tears streamed down his face, he added, "Your dad is doing you a favor by protecting you from someone like me who is weak and incapable of providing for you."
However, he seemed to have misunderstood the reason why I chose him. I didn't choose him because of protection, but because I genuinely loved him and knew that he was the right person for me, and nobody else.
"It's okay, I'm very sorry," I said, trying to console him, but he interrupted me.
"I was so weak that I couldn't even save myself, let alone my family," he confessed, tears streaming down his face. "I had to watch them being raped to death." he added
I quickly wiped away his tears and said, "It's okay, you don't have to cry. It wasn't your fault, okay?"
"I'm here for you. I chose you for who you are, not for what you have," I assured him, placing my hands gently on his cheeks.
As tears continued to fall from his eyes, I leaned in and kissed him deeply, hoping to bring him some comfort.
"Come on, it's okay. Do me a favor and try to stop crying," I said, gazing into his eyes.
He replied with a cracked voice, "I'm trying...I'm trying," as I wiped away his tears once more.
We gazed at each other with intense emotion, and I couldn't resist grabbing him and kissing him deeply. As we continued to passionately make out, we both began removing each other's clothes.
Soon, he began to suck on my breast, and the sensation was nothing short of extraordinary. I let out a soft moan, overwhelmed with pleasure.
The feeling of being touched by your true mate is indescribable. It filled me with joy and happiness, and I knew that I was exactly where I was meant to be.
After he had finished sucking my breast, I grabbed his face and kissed him deeply once again. I then proceeded to remove his trousers and took his cock into my mouth, beginning to suck him eagerly.
As I increased the pressure, he let out a soft moan of pleasure, saying "Ohh..."
★Alpha Jesse★
I was in my room, eagerly waiting for news from Silva. After a while, I heard a knock on my door and I rushed to answer it, hoping that it was Silva.
"Silva, you're back! Please come in," I exclaimed when I saw that it was indeed him at the door.
Once he was inside, I asked him about the scout and if he had found any trace. Silva simply shook his head in response.
"No, we didn't find any trace of Rubin, not even his whereabouts," Silva announced, and I was filled with anger upon hearing his news.
I couldn't believe that they had returned early without any leads.
"Why did you guys have to return so early?" I asked, my face showing my annoyance.
"I felt that Logan could provide us with better information," he responded, but I couldn't help but think that he had made a foolish decision.
"And you weren't there when I asked him and he told me everything he knew. So what other information do you want from him?" I asked, confused by Silva's decision.
"You never know, Alpha. Maybe the reason he couldn't provide us with the right information was because he was under pressure and in pain at the time. We should find him and ask him again," Silva suggested, and I thought it was a good idea.
"Very well, contact Logan and inform me of any new information before taking any action," I instructed Silva, and he nodded before leaving my room.
