Chapter 102 The Battle: part 3
Chapter 102 The Battle: part 3
Everyone looked up and Rave began to laugh like a maniac.
“Finally, all the power belongs to me.
Everything… is mine!!”
As she yelled and spread out her hand, the roof scattered from the wind from her hand. Causing people to move away so they woods do not fall on them.
She gradually descended to the floor and her people bowed in respect as she walked to the alpha's chair.
With no fear, she sat on it and sank in as if it had always belonged to her.
Kael didn't even look at her. He could not take his eyes off Hazel who was lying in his arms, completely gone.
“Don't cry too much Kael, she gave it to me herself.”
He raised his head when he heard her speak. His veins were visible, his eyes glowing red from the anger inside him.
“She just had to play hero till the end.”
Kael did not understand what she was talking about and she knew that.
She sighed and stood up, moving closer to him.
She crouched towards him and placed her finger very close to Hazel's face.
She wasn't touching her but the distance was very close.
“She gave me her heart in exchange for saving all of you.”
She looked up from Hazel and looked at Kael with a smile.
“She's more stupid than I thought.”
She stood up going back to the alpha seat but she didn't sit. Instead, she stood, looking at both werewolves and vampires in the room.
“Your luna gave up her life to save the rest of you.
Pretty cowardy if you ask me.”
She said in a very condescending tone.
“I'm guessing a little birdie told her my plans.”
Atriel brought Raina and flung her to the floor. She looked like she had been beaten quite badly before being brought here.
Rave tilted her head so hard it looked like it would fall off.
“Was it you?”
Another man working for Rave brought her mother out and Raina's eyes immediately opened wide as she went on her knees, rubbing her hands together, shaking her head and begging with everything she had.
“No, please, spare my mother.”
Rave looked at her with a smile before nodding.
“Of course, of course. I have no reason to hurt her.”
She added before looking at the vampire king.
He moved so fast and dug his fangs into her throat, pulling out almost her entire neck.
“Ouphh!”
She made a messy expression and Raina just stayed kneeling. She couldn't say anything anymore, her tears just kept pouring silently as she saw her mom fall to the ground.
“I guess he can hurt her though.”
She said and Raina turned back to her.
“You…”
She stood up and tried to charge at her but Rave simply waved her hand and Raina was pushed so hard that she landed on the floor.
“Boring…”
She said and looked around.
“Someone is missing from this equation.”
She placed a finger on her lips, acting like she was thinking but she soon parted her lips with an “ah!” expression.
“That bitch Dona… where is she?”
Atriel moved closer to her.
“You've had enough fun, put the seal inside you before the gods from the underworld get here.”
She turned to him, her brow raised.
“You…”
She squinted her eyes.
“You've been a coward from the very beginning.
You're just like them… scared.”
As soon as she said that, she dug her hand right into his chest, causing him to open his eyes in shock as he looked at her.
“Rave…”
She gave an evil smile as she squeezed his heart out.
“You think I didn't know why you hated Lucifer so much?
It's because he took away your immortality.”
She moved even closer, he was finding it hard to breathe now.
“And now… I'm taking away your life… for good.”
She began absorbing his power from inside of him.
“Do this one last thing for me… my love.”
Atriel gave her a very faint smile before he slowly turned to dust.
As soon as she had gotten what she wanted, she dusted her hands and turned back to them.
“Now, let the real show begin.”
She looked towards Hazel but was taken aback when she noticed both Hazel and Kael were nowhere to be found.
“Find them, now!!”
Her men began running in different places, looking for Kael and Hazel.
The fact that they were nowhere to be found made her a bit on edge.
She immediately put the orb into the seal and put it right into her. She placed it exactly where her core was just right below her heart.
As soon as it entered her, she parted her lips and raised her head.
She could feel the power surging into her as quickly as she put it in.
“Yes, yes!”
Her eyes slowly shifted from green to golden.
The werewolves who were with Kael slowly began to move backwards.
It felt like they could already tell what was going to happen.
“Not too soon,”
She said, causing all of them to pause where they were.
“Don't worry, it's not going to hurt for long.”
She raised her hands, staying there for a while before she clapped so loudly, causing them to close their ears from the pain of the sound.
Slowly, all of them began shifting back to their human forms.
Even the lycan pack could not hold back from the intense pain.
Their ears, eyes, and mouths were bleeding.
Many of them were slowly beginning to give up, falling as their energy left their bodies and began entering Rave one by one.
“Yes, give it all to me!”
She was laughing like she had lost her mind.
“Rave!!”
Her hands parted from each other as soon as she heard that voice.
She slowly turned and as soon as she saw Hazel standing up the stairs, she staggered.
“How is that… how are you…”
“Alive?”
Hazel began coming down the stairs.
“Poor Rave. If you want to kill me, you'll have to destroy that orb.”
Rave's eyes opened wide and looked down but before she could do anything, Hazel used her connection with the orb to force it out of her body.
It and the seal, landed right in her hand.
Rave shook her head as he sad the orb going right back into Hazel's chest.
“No, it's mine.”
She tried to move closer but Hazel lifted the seal up in the air and folded her hand into a fist, causing the seal to crush into pieces.
