Chapter 21 Bryce Helped Rossie

Chapter 21 Bryce Helped Rossie
The next day, Rossie woke up and threw up again.

"As far as I remember, you have a high tolerance for alcohol, so why is this happening now?" Marcus quickly handed Rossie a glass of warm water.
Rossie quickly drank it and then slowly regulated her breathing.

"Maybe because I haven't drunk alcohol for three years, it seems my body can't handle a lot of alcohol all of a sudden." Rossie drank more warm water.
Marcus furrowed his brow.

"Bryce and his family don't like to smell alcohol on someone's breath, especially from women. So I don't consume it at all. Whenever there's a celebration, I only drink tea or mocktails."

Marcus sighed deeply. "Huh! Johansen again."

"I was worried that you were pregnant with that bastard's child! But thank God that didn't happen." Marcus looked relieved.

"Haha. How could I possibly be pregnant with his child? We slept separately for three years, and the only thing I remember is that I slept with him once before the wedding, and this made him very angry because he thought I had trapped him." Rossie said listlessly.

Marcus, who was drinking water, suddenly coughed when he heard his sister's confession.

"What? You slept in separate rooms?" Marcus shook his head, then exhaled deeply and said again, "Good! He doesn't deserve you. That night should have been an honor for him!"

Marcus clenched his fists in anger, even though he was grateful that his sister wasn't pregnant with Bryce's child, but he felt that this brought sadness to Rossie's heart.
"By the way, do you remember what happened last night?" Marcus asked.

"I only remember that I fought with Jake because he intended to give illegal drugs to a girl, after that I started to get drunk and ..."

"And what?" Marcus asked.

"It seems like a handsome man helped me, but I don't know who he is. Perhaps a stranger who happened to be nearby. "

" Are you sure you don't know him? "asked Marcus.

Rossie shook her head, her expression showing that she was sure of what she was saying.

'So she doesn't remember meeting that bastard? Good!'

"  He's Randall Wellington, the club owner. He has to take responsibility for what happened at his club, right?" replied Marcus.

"Hmm, that makes sense," replied Rossie.

She deliberately didn't tell her sister about her meeting with Bryce the night before. She didn't want her sister to suffer even more because of that meeting.
Soon after, Darren arrived at Rossie's house with some soup and several documents that needed her signature. Rossie had asked her assistant to come over a while ago.

At that time, Rossie was still wearing her silk nightgown. Even though a silk robe covered it, it still couldn't hide her sexy curves. Especially when Rossie sat with her legs crossed, showing her smooth thighs.

When he saw that, Darren's face immediately turned red, and he quickly looked away, not daring to look at her closely.

Marcus coughed and then took a seat next to Rossie, covering his sister's thighs with a sofa cushion.

"There's another man here. You shouldn't be dressed like this! It's a good thing I'm here, otherwise he might have pounced on you!" whispered Marcus, glancing at Darren.

"For the past three years, I've only worn dresses and slippers. Now, I want to wear whatever I want. No one can stop me. "Rossie narrowed her eyes and then spooned up the soup Darren had given her.

" Why are you dressed like that, Miss? You always dressed fashionably before. Or are your three brothers not willing to support you?" Darren asked seriously.

"Shut up!" the siblings shouted in unison.

"I'll get ready first!" Rossie exclaimed, then rushed to her room to take a shower and change her clothes.

After waiting for more than an hour, Rossie finally appeared among them, wearing a Chanel business suit and Dior high heels, carrying a Hermes Himalayan Birkin bag in her hand. Her appearance was truly stunning, and Darren couldn't take his eyes off her.

"Let's go now!" Rossie exclaimed.

Darren agreed and drove her to the office. Rossie was silent throughout the trip, but occasionally massaged her temples, her head still feeling heavy.
Once they arrived at the office, Rossie remembered her conversation with Marcus that morning and felt very confused. She wondered what would happen if she were pregnant with Bryce's child. Would her three older siblings accept her again? Or would they hate her?

Rossie exhaled deeply. She agreed with her sister; she should feel relieved that she wasn't pregnant. If that had happened, maybe everything would be different now.
As she considered the possibilities, a notification suddenly appeared on her phone, originating from her family group.

Dominic: Rossie, do you remember how they exposed your dirty secret yesterday? Those accounts have been deleted, including theirs, and Bryce did it.
Rossie: Hmm, I have to thank him. (Sarcasm)

Ethan: What? Does he think everything is over just because he deleted all those accounts? What about our sister's suffering all this time? Tsk!

Dominic: It's a shame this didn't affect the Johansen group's stock value.

Marcus: Rossie, even though the accounts have been deleted, we still can't just sit back and do nothing about the Jones family.

Rossie: Yes. They have to pay for everything!

Rossie immediately ordered Darren to go to her office.

"Did you get what I asked for?" asked Rossie, leaning back in her chair.

"Yes, I have everything ready to be submitted to the relevant department whenever you want," replied Darren.

Rossie smiled. "Good, now let me keep the evidence first."

Rossie smiled as she glanced out the window and said,

"Contact all the media we know! Please provide them with clues about what happened; there's no need to go into too much detail. We'll decide on the next steps after the news goes viral."

Darren furrowed his brow. "Aren't you worried that this will make the situation worse? Why not attack the Jones Group all of a sudden? Wouldn't that be better?"

"I have my own way. I prefer to destroy and torture my prey slowly, letting them hope for death," explained Rossie with a cynical smile as she rubbed the bracelet her grandmother had given her.
