Chapter 119 Do It
She let her gaze fall from his as she walked over towards him. Taking her seat next to him, she looked up again only to meet his emerald eyes still piercing through her body and soul.
She felt a sensation ignite inside of her. Oh how much she had missed her man!
Romeo finally took his eyes off of her but for a split second as he reached for a glass of the tea she had seen his secretary bring in and he handed it to her. "Gentle sips," be said softly. "It's very hot."
She nodded her head and accepted the cup from his hand in silence. She did not even try to ask him what was inside the cup and simply lifted it to her lips and took a sip from the light green liquid.
"Ow!" She winced in pain as the liquid burnt her tongue.
Romeo immediately collected the cup from her hand and placed it back on the tray on the table then took a napkin and gently dabbed at her lips. "What did I just tell you?" His voice was soft and gentle as he spoke.
His eyes were fixed on her lips, he had missed those soft lips so much. Staring at them made him want to kiss her but he was still pretending to be angry so he could not do that.
He still did not believe what she had done just to get to him to apologize. He almost broke his act and smiled.
Cara did not know what was traveling through his mind though, she fiddled nervously with her fingers and stared at the handsome face before her. She did not even realize it when her hand reached up and began to trace the features of his face.
Romeo did not move away, he allowed it. She was pleased that he did not shove her hand away.
She touched his thick brows, trailed down to his nose and then his lips. She gulped down softly as she reached his lips. She could not hide how much she has missed him and she wanted nothing more than to pull him into her arms and hug him till tomorrow.
She did not remove her hands from his lips, and his eyes never left her lips as well.
The time seemed to slip by so slowly. Slower than it should normally move. She refused to let her nervousness hold her back and wanted to kiss him but still, she was hesitant.
"Do it." Romeo suddenly said.
Her eyes widened. "Huh?" She asked on surprise.
"I will not do it if that is what you are waiting for. Go ahead and do it or stare at me forever." His voice was soft as he spoke.
He dropped the napkin in his hand on the table and looked up at her. He fell silent once more, just staring at her and waiting for her to do what was on her mind.
Cara did not know she had made her desires so known without even saying any words. She wanted to shy away but there was no need for that! After all, she was with her man. Her husband to be.
She cupped his face in her small palms and pulled his face closer to hers. Gently, she pressed her lips against his and remained there for a second and more.
Pulling back from him, firm hands gripped her waist and pulled her back to his chest. Before a gasp could escape her mouth, his lips pressed against hers tightly and his strong hands held her to himself without letting go.
His teeth sunk into her lips and his tongue pushed into her mouth. He did not hide his desires, he let it flow like a stream. Sucking on her lips and caressing her body, he refused to let her go.
Cara felt so pleased by his display of love, she wanted more, she needed more, but only so much could be done within the walls of his office.
Even with the blinds down, they were still easy to be spotted by his secretary if she were to walk in.
It was like her thoughts traveled to Romeo's mind because almost immediately, the clash of tongues came to a stop and he pulled away from her with a deep breath.
Her small hands were clinging on to the collar of his dress shirt, her body did not want to leave his. She breathed heavily, trying to catch her breath. She was left out of breath just like when she had climbed the flight of stairs.
His hands were still firmly placed around her waist and back. His emerald eyes were shut, he needed a moment to calm himself. A moment and more.
She stared at the imagery of perfection sitting right in front of her. She had never felt any more lucky than she did at that moment.
"The things you do to me Cara Smith..." he muttered softly, his deep and throaty voice filling up her ears and filling up her body with desires.
She smiled softly, a light chuckle escaping her mouth.
Finally, he had calmed down and was able to release his hands from around her waist. Even though she wished he would not.
He picked up the small container and opened the lid. White pills were the content of the container, filling it up almost to the brim. He took out one and handed it to her then poured her a glass of water from the glass jug sitting on his table into a ceramic mug.
"Here," he handed the water to her as well. "It will help with your body pain and it is suitable for pregnant women as well. Take that first and then let's head home so I can give you a full body massage to help relax your bones.
"Why would you even do that in the first place when you know that you are carrying a baby? Does it make any sense to you that a pregnant woman is doing such harsh exercise?..."
Romeo kept to nag at her for what she had done but rather than feeling bad, Cara felt so pleased that things were back to how they used to be.
She simply smiled.
