Chapter 178 Is That A Dream?

Chapter 178 Is That A Dream?
“Do you see people getting the one they die for at their door steps like this? It looks like a sick fantasy of mine,” I growled in a low tone.

I agree that I had yearned for it endless but gaining it finally sounded surreal so at a certain point, I found it hard to accept.

To help myself, I poured the remaining water over my head. Throwing the glass on the couch, I ruffled my wet hair.

“Ah, better,”

“Hey- what are you doing?!”

Taking a deep breath, I moved those wet hands to my face, rubbing my face messily to gain my posture and react properly.

“Okay, I am not drugged.”

Bringing my hands down, I took another unhurried breath while speaking to myself.

“How do you even get the effects off? Should have tried that when the stocks came. Well, the point is, you are actually here,”

Turning back to Aalifa, I hummed, holding my chin. She stared at my face for a few seconds in disbelief before letting out a musical chuckle.

Shaking her head, she sat on my bed, grinning at me.

“Okay, take your time,”

Humming, it took me a few minutes to accept the fact that she was here and sat on the other side of the bed.

“So what now?”

“Do you want me or should I go back to my father so he could do my honor killing?” She asked nonchalantly, using her phone.

“Option 1,”

Glancing from my shoulder, I saw her features from up close before breaking into a deafening, felicitous, uncontrollable laugh.

I laughed as if I had never been this happy- I had never been this gleeful ever.

Grinning, falling back onto the mattress, stretching my hands out, the sound of my laugh echoed in the room. Placing her phone down, she contemplated me.

“What?”

She ended up giggling too, staring at me with those immensely lovely eyes, holding all her desire, lingering there just for me.

“I can’t believe you are here, you are finally here,”

Placing my hand over my heart, I pressed my head harder into the mattress, shutting my eyes.

“They say the night of sorrow is painful but in the end, it is night, it ends,” She whispered, plopping to her elbow before placing her hand over my cheek.

Opening my eyes to find her this close to become one with my heartbeat, I smiled purely, kissing her hands lovingly.

“You will be here, right? You won’t leave me again, won’t go away, be all mine, right na?” I murmured, not wanting to let her go ever again.

“Yes because I know in this world only you will love me beyond all odds, mindlessly, madly, passionately.” She chuckled, falling into the mattress as well.

I wanted to cage her in my arms but refrained for now. We both were in the opposite corner where my eyes heard the aesthetically pleasing sound of her laughing.

“You will love in a way no one could.”

“I promise wholeheartedly that I will but don’t go away again, life is so unworthy without you, Aalifa,”

I promised as we both looked at each other with in-depth and unwavering emotions as there was finally no wall between us.

No past monsters, no regrets, no lies, no manipulation, no limits, nothing to rip us apart.

“I won’t. I have realized that leaving you was the biggest mistake of my life, I was foolish. I won’t do it again,” She whispered, bringing her hand out to me.

“Promise?”

“I promise,”

Grinning, we both made a pinky promise before sitting back up as I asked happily.

“So allow me to take you away properly,”

“How?”

“Let me marry you after your iddah,”

(A specified period of time that must elapse before a Muslim widow or divorcee may legitimately remarry)

Grinning, I suggested, dying for the moment to take her away openly with no fear, not secretly this time.

This world shall know I was greeting my beloved…

“Okay…  but do you think my father will accept me? Where am I supposed to go?” She shrugged her shoulders.

“Why don’t we find out? And this time, I won’t manipulate him-”

“Why? This is the only time I want you to manipulate him to convince him to accept us,” She demanded.

Grabbing her bag to leave as I laughed, ready to corner her father in the power of my words again.

“Okay, okay,”

Once again, dressed in an off white three piece suit-jacket, I was back to New York, making it my third visit this year along with my brothers.

“This is your third marriage now, Zaviyaar,” Asad sighed, holding his sides while I flashed a vague smile.

He just returned from London and surprisingly left Ruben there.

Apparently after avoiding his family for years, he had decided to join his family business.

“I think you have decided to marry on our behalf too.” Erhan muttered.

I smirked, “Not yours though, Erhan,”

“Not mine? I am standing between a line of death,”

“Whatever. Let me have my happy ending, we will think about yours later,” I enunciated as we left to her place to steal my bride from her parents once again.

And this time, with no intentions of letting her go.

Upon reaching, I could feel her father glaring at me but I merely smiled earnestly, pulling him into a hug as I could barely contain my glee.

“Salam, Sir,”

“I swear, this is your last chance,” He sighed, shaking his head when I held him tightly.

“Sure, I won’t disappoint you.” I grinned, almost going to kiss his cheeks but realizing that would be too awkward, I pulled away.

I was too excited and lost my control.

“Though it was your daughter who left our brother.” Asad added from behind. I pushed him by my elbow.

“Hey,”

Her father narrowed his eyes. He couldn’t argue with that, it was a valid point and rolled his eyes.

“Lord is merciful then why aren’t his people?” I suggest sweetly, giving Mr. Niyaz’s back a pat, holding him firmly.

“Okay, okay, I can’t defeat you in talks. Seriously, what do you put in your words?”

“Charm,” I grinned and he failed to keep up his stern features and ended up chuckling.

“Okay, okay, come. She is anxiously waiting,”

My gaiety was going out of control, my hands were shaking accompanied by an unstoppable grin.
