Chapter 177 To Think

Chapter 177 To Think
Narrowing her eyes out of annoyance, she let me go, opening her arm to put them half-way in the air.

Finding her nonchalant demeanor, that resolve I lost hopes of receiving. The relief of shattering the boundaries she created.

She looked so peaceful while I was immobilized.

Taking a few steps back, I held my side, scanning her from top to bottom. Rubbing my eyes, my back leaned, holding my chin with a pout.

Looks unbelievably real.

“Is that a dream?” I asked again for confirmation.

“No,”

“What is your name?”

“Aalifa,”

“Have you lost your memories?”

“No,”

“Are you even Aalifa?”

“Yes,”

Holding my hand, I placed my palm right in front of her face while vibrating my hands.

“How many fingers are there?”

“Shut up!”

Weary of my constant question, she ended up growling but what was I supposed to do? That was too abrupt for me.

She took a step closer, posture softening to make me listen but I was not mentally prepared.

Putting my hands in the air, I stopped her from eradicating distances for now, shaking my head violently with rapid blinking.

“Hold on, woman, let me register. Give me a break. You drink some water and let me drink some too,”

Her mouth gaped from disappointment but complying, she stopped. Folding her arms at her chest, she tapped her foot on the ground as I poured two glasses of water for us.

After I drank a glass of water and refilled it, I leaned against the bedpost, took a sip of my drink, and rested my hand in my pocket again.

It became freezing cold, in fear of how miserable I would be if it turned out to be an imagination.

After I was in perhaps a state of better comprehension, I took a booming, steady breath.

“Okay, so you're telling me that you have divorced Ahmer… and come to me, right?” I repeated the situation ambiguously.

“Yes,” She nodded.

She placed the glass away as I decided to advance after being assured that she had been freed from the foolish fetters she created herself.

The second she turned, I was before her, staring down at the desirable woman who smirked, placing her hand over her waist.

“So are you back to your senses?”

“Are you sure? I am not that generous to let go a second time. I don’t give second chances,” I murmured, using my most affectionate tone, taking a strand of her hair to caress it carefully.

Gracefully averting her eyes, she swallowed hard before holding my wrist holding her hair, sending a satisfactory shiver down my spine.

My lips dried, affixing my eyes as if this world was created in those silver orbs and the one where I existed perished so I could revive in her.

“Imprison me, cage me from this world, I am wholeheartedly offering myself to you but take me away.”

And she blazed my core with her adorable pleading. With a tear coming near her eyes, her grip tightened.

‘Ah, What a melodious begging. Keep saying those words, I was already dying to hear them,’

Closing my eyes, my grip on the glass tightened before releasing her hair too that made Aalifa hold my arm with her both hands hopelessly.

“Please, Zaviyaar, I am sorry for everything, for leaving you, but, here I am. Please make me yours,” She begged, a tear rolling down my cheek.

I wanted to embrace her right now but… I wanted to be selfish, just a little, I wanted to satiate my thirst, hear more…

“And your family? Heard your father is cursing me,”

I questioned. Trying to leave my arm but her grip tightened, resting her head on my arm too.

“Well, this world curses the biggest criminal, include my father in the list too,”

The heavenly sensation I was receiving provided me with inexplicable delight, it soothed my soul but placed my emotions at bay and got back.

“Are you truly sure?” I asked nonchalantly, taking a sip of my water.

Displeased with my lack of reaction and distance, she whined, holding her hand out to me.

“Why are you behaving like this?”

But, her question vanished my enlivenment as I slapped her hand away. With my back on her, I mumbled.

“Because your longest yearning doesn't get fulfilled so easily-”

And then my body shivered, gritting my teeth from the frustration.

“And if it turns out to be a horrible lie-”

Turning back to her with a dire glare, I ended up yelling unintentionally.

“I won’t be able to take it!”

“My feelings are not a glib, I am not a thing you can leave whenever you want, accept whenever you feel like this, dammit!”

She flinched, holding the hem of her dress when my lips started to quiver a little but covering my anguish into rage, I decided to set my feelings free too.

“I will die if you break my heart again so don’t come to me if you don’t intend to stay, Darling,” I hissed, approaching her hastily, mixing my breathless sound with her stable one.

“I cannot bear it again. You have no idea how much I have suffered. If you are not sure, don’t do this.”

She stared intensely into my soul. Not moving an inch as I grabbed her arm with my free hand to yank her towards me.

Pouring my passion into my gaze, I whimpered, “Don’t break my heart again. I am done with heartbreaks-”

But, to my furiously sorrowful hissing, she placed her palm over my heart.

Halting my whole being, disappearing my anger as if it didn’t exist with her mesmerizing statement.

“Kill me if I fail you again,”

“What?”

And then she spoke about what imprisoned me in the city of her heart eternally.

“I would rather be the slave of your love than to live in this world, Zaviyaar.”

Stunned, I was once again in a state of daze when her palm was pressed more, causing my soul to follow her rhythm as she continued in her most affectionate resonance.

“I don’t want a world in which you are not present,”

She was about to place her head on my chest beautifully, an electric shock made me shiver when I got back again.

“Hold on, hold on,”

“What now?” She hissed when I got back again.

“I need time to think, dammit!”
