Chapter 80 - You are my everything

Eva POV:

I am so happy with Jason, Ryan and Selena. My company is also running well. But sometimes, I am scared as competing with Jason's company may create conflict in our relationship. I called Rio to discuss this with him because I knew that Jason wouldn't accept if I say that I will leave the works of the company.

I heard the knocking sound of my cabin door.

"Yes, come in," I said.

"Hello madam, how are you?" asked Rio entering into the cabin.

"Hi Rio, please take your seat," I said.

"So what's up? I mean you said you want to discuss something important?" asked Rio.

"I am planning to handover this company to Jason," I said "What? I mean why do you decide to handover company to Jason?"

"I love my profession. I will continue that."

"Is it the only reason, Eva? Why can't you handle both? You can continue your profession along with handling company works," he asked.

"I didn't want to be overburdened, Rio. I have to handle my family too. Jason, Selena and Ryan, everyone needs me. I should dedicate my time for them. So I will hand over this to Jason," I said.

"I know about you, Eva. Are you still scared of Jason? Do you have any doubt that your relationship may face a problem if you compete with Jason?" he asked directly.

"Maybe yes. It's not that Jason will get angry or something. I knew well that he never likes to mix up the profession with personal life. But I didn't want to hurt him in any way. On that day, as I am angry at him, I took over the company to defeat him. But now I can't see him failing in anything."

"But Jason never agrees to this. I am sure if you say this as a reason, he will get upset and becomes angry too."

"I know Rio. But I won't reveal him the true reason. I want to be happy with Jason and family without any tensions and conflicts."

"Ok do as you wish, but if Jason comes to know this, we can't imagine his reaction. I never understand why girls always love to sacrifice their life, success and dreams for her family. Anyways I hope everything will be fine. Ok, I will leave" Rio left.

I waited for Jason to pick me. But he didn't arrive. I called him many times but didn't receive my call. I went home and found him playing with Ryan and Selena.

He saw me but ignored me. I went to the room and got fresh up. He came to the place and lay on the bed.

"What happened to my dear husband? Why is he serious on me?" I said sitting beside him and kissing on his forehead.

He removed my hand from his forehead.

"Nothing Eva. I am ok," he said.

"No, you are not. There is something which made you upset. Did I do anything wrong unknowingly? Please tell me, Jason. Don't be silent like this. It hurts. Please please," I pouted and hugged me.

He looked at me and smiled.

"You are good at convincing me. Now stop your antics. I want to ask you something," Jason said keeping his face serious again.

"Ok."

"What is your opinion on me, Eva?" He asked.

"You are a perfect husband, and you love me a lot," I said "Do you still feel that I am restricting you or hurting you?"

"No Jason. Not at all. But first please tell me why are you asking like that?" I asked He got up and sat on the bed. He pulled me closer and hugged me from behind.

"I love you, Eva. Do you know the meaning of saying I love you? It means I love to trust you, support you, love to see your smile, love to see your success and growth too" he said kissing me.

I was frozen at my place understanding his words. He turned me towards him and cupped my face.

"I love you, baby. I want to see you being successful in your career. I never feel jealous seeing your success. If you defeat me, then I will be proud of you thinking that you are wiser than me. Just tell me one thing. Do you feel jealous of me or sad, if I defeat you by getting any contract to my company?" He asked slowly I nodded in no.

"I feel happy if you succeed. It gives me more happiness than my success" I said resting my head on his chest and hugging him.

He hugged me and kissed on my head. He started caressing my hairs.

"I too feel very happy if you succeed. Happiness always lies in the success and happiness of our loved one" Jason said softly.

I nodded.

"Today I came to your office to pick you but hearing your conversation with Rio; I left from there," he said "I am sorry. I never think like this again" I said slowly to which Jason smiled and kissed softly on my forehead.

"But I will punish you for misunderstanding me" he winked.

"You never change," I said smiling.

"Yes, I never change," he said and made me lie on the bed and kissed all over my face.

"Punishment will be so severe which keeps you awake whole night," he said, and I hit him on his shoulder for his words.

He laughed and lied beside me.

"My treatment for drug de-addiction was completed. The doctor told me to discontinue the medicine. He also said that there's no harm for our children now and we can plan for a child" he said smiling.

I blushed hard.

"So now you have no problem to continue your company works, right," he asked "Yes, I will continue my profession along with business," I said.

"That's good. Don't let your dreams die for anyone Eva. Our relationship never breaks whatever comes up in our way. So leave all your fears aside and start enjoying your life as you wish and make your every dream true. At every point, I will be there holding your hand and saying that you are my everything" he said.

Jason POV:

I went to her office to pick her but hearing her conversation with Rio, I got angry. How can she assume that I will become mad at her if she becomes successful in the business field? I went home without meeting her. She came home, and I ignored her. But then I remembered my promise of not hurting her. If I shout or stay silent for some more time, I am sure that she will start crying. So, I controlled my anger and made her understand that I never become jealous of her nor do I get upset with her success.

As I quit drugs completely and doctor too said there's no harm to the children, we restarted our married life.

Days are passing by so quickly. Four months went off so fast. I am enjoying my life with Eva's love and antics of Ryan and Selena. After office, my work is to irritate Eva along with children. She often scolds me for not helping her in works and instead of troubling her along with children. I smile at her cute complaints.

My phone rang, and I received the call.

"Sir, Eva madam fainted at office suddenly. We are taking her to Chitra hospital."

"What? I am coming."

I rushed to the hospital. What happened to my Eva? Is anything wrong? I went to the hospital.

"Doctor, how is my wife, Eva?" I asked as soon as I entered into the room where she was admitted. Still, she is unconscious.

"Nothing to worry sir. Your wife got conceived. Congratulations" doctor said.

Slowly Eva came into conscious. I went to her and sat beside her.

"Thank you, Eva," I said kissing her forehead.

"What? Why are you thanking me? Are you gone mad knowing that I fainted?" she asked cutely.

I smiled and held both her hands and kissed her hands.

"Wow, Romance at Hospital. First, tell me why did you thank me?"

"Congratulations Mrs Jason. Soon we are going to play with baby Eva or baby Jason" I said.

"How can we both become babies?" she asked.

"Tube light. We are going to become mom and dad. You got conceived"

"Wh..a..t?" Her eyes filled with happy tears.

"Yes. I love you, sweetheart."

"I love you too, Jason. Thank you. I am happy," she hugged me tightly.
