Chapter 79 - No more apologies

Eva POV:

I got scared remembering his anger and went to him running. He was in the waiting room.

"Jason, I am sorry. Please don't be angry at me again" I said.

He looked at me confused.

"What happened to you? Why are you saying sorry?"

"I was discussing company matters with Rio. Please understand."

"Why are you explaining to me now? I didn't ask you anything?"

"Aren't you angry at me?"

"No, Eva."

"Then why did come like that?"

"I just came here because I didn't want to listen to your business secrets. Remember sweetheart, never discuss your business matters before anyone. Now you go and complete the discussion. I will wait for you here," Jason said.

I looked around and kissed him on the cheek.

"Devil, it's office."

"Wherever we are, I am your wife forever," I said and went back to my cabin to complete the discussion.

After that, we went home. I went to the room and got fresh up.

"I will prepare coffee for you," I said. But Jason pulled me closer to him. He cupped my face.

"Are you still scared of me, Eva?" He asked softly to which I nodded.

"Why baby? I am not rude or serious to you. I love you so much. I promised you that I wouldn't hurt you anymore. Why are you scared of me" he asked me.

"I don't know, but I am still scared of you," I said slowly hugging him and rested my head on his chest.

He hugged me for some more time and cupped my face.

"Eva, listen, from now, whatever happens, I won't shout on you. Even if you do something that I hate, I will slowly tell you that but won't hurt you. So please don't get scared. Just keep smiling" he said to me.

I nodded.

"I think we can bring Ryan and Selena to us as we are happy now."

"Yes, but how can we convince Selena? Does she believes us if we say that we are her parents?" I asked "I will convince her. Don't worry" Jason said.

I nodded.

"What are you thinking now Eva?"

"Rio"

"What?" He said seriously making me laugh.

I love to see his possessiveness. Over-possessiveness is difficult to handle, but little possessiveness is necessary for any relationship. It makes relationship sweeter and us to feel that our partner loves us.

"Why are you laughing?"

"Nothing, I mean that I was thinking about Rio and Roma. I want to talk to Rio about Roma. Roma had feelings for Rio, but he doesn't know that till today" I said.

"Hmm. But don't you think it's their matter. I knew that you are a good friend to both of them. But it's better not to involve in their matters because it's the first thing we need to follow, to keep up friendships. Even then, if you want to help them, talk with Roma and let her propose him first" He said, and I felt its good idea.

I talked to Roma advising her to confess her feelings to Rio. Roma proposed Rio, but Rio asked time to think.

Rio POV:

I loved Eva, but when she said that she was married, I decided never to meet her. But because of Roma's stupidity, Jason suffered Eva a lot. I became angry with Roma as she tried to ruin their relationship for me. But Eva stopped me from confronting her saying that she did everything for me.

How can she betray her own best friend who saved her life and done a lot for her? Whatever might be the reason, she is wrong according to my opinion. Though I knew that Jason had his reasons to leave Eva, still I feel Roma helped him. What if Jason doesn't understand Eva and leave her because of that stupid video. It was just a mistake where we both had no intention of kissing.

But Eva says we shouldn't judge people by their one act and before judging we must know completely about them. She gave a good example to me regarding that.

In this society, mostly we judge a book by its cover. If we apply it to humans, can we judge a person by their clothes or outer behaviour? Maybe our politicians may do that, but as true humans, we should never judge a person by their dress. The girl who wears traditional dress, may not always be good. At the sametime, girls who wear the modern dress are not always rude and bad. Few people appear to be rude, but still, they are good at heart. A person may be calm but who knew he might be a suicide bomber too. We can understand a person only when we understand their heart.

But what do I know about Roma? Who is she to me? Does she have a role in my life? I can't make any decision right now. I need time to know her completely. I closed my eyes.

I remembered her smile, her looks and her talk. I smiled unknowingly. Then I remembered her care on me when I underwent surgery to remove the blood clot, her love towards mom and dad. She cares for them a lot. She forgave my maternal uncle too though he tried to kill her and killed her parents too. She asked me not to file the case on him. We left him without getting him arrested. She did wrong, but she apologised to Eva recently. Maybe it's true that God decides our pair already. God may not give what we want all the time, but surely he gives what we need.

I went to Roma and took her with me in my car. We went to the beach. I blindfolded her and took her a little far. I untied her blindfold. She is standing on rose petals, and I kneeled before her.

"I love you, Roma. Will you marry me?"

She nodded, and I placed ring to her finger. We had a candlelight dinner and then went home. I informed about our decision to get married, which was welcomed by my parents happily. We got married.

My life changed a lot after marriage. I am happy in her love. She cares for my parents a lot. She loves my family and me. Roma came to our room with coffee. I had hidden behind the door.

"Rio, coffee," she said, and as didn't find me, she searched everywhere for me keeping coffee on the table.

"Rio, stop playing with me and have coffee" Roma shouted.

I went near to her as she is not facing me. I hugged Roma from behind kissing on her cheek.

"Rio, you are becoming too naughty these days" she complained smiling.

"Of course, I can because you are my sweet wife darling," I said turning her towards me and kissing on her lips softly.

"Roma" mom called from downstairs.

"Have your coffee; I will just come. Maa is calling" she said and went off.

Eva POV:

I am so happy with Jason. In this one month, he was never rude to me. We brought Ryan and Selena to us. Jason said to Selena that we were in abroad till now, so left her with the maid. She didn't talk to us for a few days but soon mingled with us. She gave a feeling to us that we already became parents. Our house brightened up with new light because of her coming to our house.

"Eva, coffee."

I heard his shouting. He started again. I went to Jason with coffee.

"Why do you shout like that all the time scaring me?" I said.

"Scared you?? What can I do baby, I always want my devil to be around me" he said "What? Devil? Me? You are the devil, not me" I shouted, and he smirked.

"Let's see what devil will do now" he winked taking the coffee cup from my hand and kept it on the table.

He started touching my face with his forefinger and kissed me on eyes, cheeks and lips.

"How can you be so beautiful Eva, to take my heart away all the time and to make me lose my control," he said and kissed me again.

"Jason, please I need to get Selena ready for school," I said pushing him away.

"Then who will make me ready to go to the office" he pouted.

I smiled at him.

"I am a kid and younger than Ryan and Selena. But you were not taking care of me," he said in kid's voice.

"Enough of your dvina for now. Go and get ready fast. You need to drop them at school," I said, and he laughed.
