Chapter 89: I Trust Him

I knew where Alicia was. She just visited someone at the Jail. I don’t wanna take her anywhere, but I have to warn her, if I can, that she is in danger.
I don’t know if I am doing the right thing but I guess this is what I can do.
Maybe Alicia thinks that I am a danger for her. I have to make sure she is alone when I meet her. I have to do something and make her safe forever.

I picked up my phone. I noticed there was a voice note by Alistair.
Oh, his voice is so sexy.
Anyway, I went in my room as it was quite a long voice note and I think that maybe it is something confidential.
I played it. “.... and this is my plan. I don’t know if it seems nice, and your feedback is important. I’ll be home soon and then we will discuss this. I just sent you so that you can think about it till then. I know it is quite dangerous but we have to do it, okay? But if you feel unsafe, you can deny it. I’ll be home soon. Bye, love you”
I kept my phone down and sighed. Yeah, it is dangerous and I am scared but I know Alistair will save me and nothing will happen.
I haven’t even told him yet that I will take my complaint back. There is so much he should know.
Maybe my decision on Asher is bad, and it will worsen the situation we are in, but I will take it anyway. I don’t have the right to punish someone who became like that because of me.
At least not after he has reformed.
I sighed and went out. What should I think about the plan? He literally just meant that you can deny it if you don’t trust me. I mean, I trust him so much, and I am sure that he will not let anything happen to me but… I am scared, and I guess it is normal.
But I will do it because the result is worth the risk. I can’t imagine a life where I will finally be free, where I will finally be truly independent.
And honestly, I’d like to die fighting for us, than being captured by the Boy’s Society, used by them and then killed.
I waited for him. I know I can do this. And I will talk to him regarding taking my complaint back.
I decided not to inform anything to Selena and Nick till I have talked with Alistair.
The doorbell rang.
Oh, what a timing. I just ended my trail of thoughts.
I opened the door and he looked at me and smiled. He closed the door and pinned me to the wall. He kissed me. “I missed you '' he whispered between the kisses.
“I missed you too,” I replied. We kept kissing for a while and then he got away.
“Damn, you are so tasty”
Heat rushed to my cheeks. “I am WHAT”
“Tasty, any problem?” he smirked and pulled me on the couch. “Why are you always standing? Sit down sometime”
“You are the one who pushed me” I rolled my eyes.
“Oh baby, you are the one who couldn’t resist me” he smirked.
“Oh yeah, sure” I laughed.
He looked at me and burst out laughing too.
“Damn, Alicia. You are so good”
“Not tasty?”
“You want me to name every adjective?”
“Yep”
“How stupid of you, we don’t have three days”
I laughed. “You are so sweet”
“I know. Now let’s talk about the plan”
I nodded and smiled. “Yeah, so…”
“Are you okay with it?”
“Yeah, I am”
“Really? You aren’t just doing it for me, right?”
“Nah. I believe nothing will happen to me”
“Nothing. I promise”
I grinned. “Then why are you even asking. You know I trust you so much”
He smiled.
“That’s good to know”
“Hm-mh”
“Well, apart from that, I want you to know that… I’ll take my complaint back, okay?”
He kept quiet for some moments. “Are you sure?” His voice was dull.
“What happened?”
“He hurt you, Alicia and almost ruined us--”
“I know but you know that, I was also the cause of all this. I broke him first”
He sighed.
“Okay, you can take this decision”
I smiled. “Thanks”
“Alright. So, may I continue to prepare for our plan? We don’t have forever, I’d like to end this as soon as possible”
“Yeah, sure”
I smiled. He left a quick peck on my lips before getting up. “You should take care of yourself. I couldn’t really track any one from the Boy’s Society but there is potential danger. So, there will be two men here in some time. They will make sure of your safety and in the meantime, I will search”
“Thank you”
“Hm” he looked to the side.
“What happened?”
“Do you know who the prince is?”
“Of… The Boy’s Society?” I asked.
“Hm…”
“Nah, I don’t care”
“It’s Jake”
I looked at him. “Jake? Are you sure?”
“Hm…”
I looked down. “And he is searching for me?”
“Hm he is”
“I… uh, don’t worry. I am sure he won’t ever do anything wrong to me. He is probably protecting me”
“I hope he is. But he swore on the--”
“Whatever it is, Alistair” I looked at him. “I trust him. Now, it is in his hands. To break it or keep it”
He smiled sadly and his eyes moistened. “You are an angel”
“I am not. I have made more mistakes than most humans”
“And got more betrayals but still you trust him. I hope he doesn’t break it”
I nodded. He smiled. “I am here for you”
“I know,” I replied.
He smiled and then went out. I am sure. Jake will never hurt me.
