Chapter 18 Eighteen

Chapter 18 Eighteen
"Are you searching for Jace and Jade?" A young boy suddenly ran towards Alexandra and she nodded immediately.

"Yes, please. Do you know where they went?" She asked.

"Sally got injured and they followed her to the hospital," he said, tilting his head as he pointed, "a young tall guy took them. Jace said it was the stranger he told you about the other day. He asked me to tell you this if you came looking for them."

"Child, did Jace tell you what hospital?"

"I reckon it's the nearest one because he said Sally was bleeding a lot." The young boy said and Alexandra nodded, getting up from her squatting position.

"Thank you, darling." She smiled at him and he nodded, rushing off into his class.

"Is this how you guys work here?" She turned to the teacher with a annoyed look on her face.

"You don't pay attention to the kids learning here? My kids just walked away with someone they don't even know." She shot as she walked out of the teacher.

"I had no idea they followed him out. I'm really sorry." The teacher pleaded with Doreen.

"Him?" Doreen asked, "You know the man right? It'll help us faster," she said.

"It's Mr Jordans. He spoke to the principal and wanted to see the classrooms," the teacher replied and Doreen nodded.

"Thank you so much," she gave a small smile, before rushing after Alexandra.

Alexandra stayed her in car, her head in her on her steering as she placed a call to Liam. It rang but he wasn't picking up, what the hell?

"It Mr Jordans, ma." Doreen said when she got closer.

"I know," Alexandra breathed.

"But he's not picking up my calls," she sighed.

"Let's just go to the hospital. The nearest one must be Passion Hospital. I'm sure they'll be there." Doreen said and Alexandra nodded, turning the ignition on. Doreen went into her own car and followed behind at a safe pace.

Alexandra hopped down from the car hurriedly when her phones rang and she picked it as she walked into Passion Hospital.

"Cassidy," she called.

"Where are you right now? Where are the kids?" Cassidy rushed, "I'm sorry, I'm just seeing the voicemail. I've been really busy to even check my phone. So, have you found them?" She asked all in one breath.

"I am where I think they are right now. My guess is that Liam took them to the hospital. They said Sally, fell and got an injury." Alexandra said as she walked into the hospital and went straight to the counter.

"Hi, I'm looking for two identical kids. Have you seen them with a man?" She asked.

"Liam Jordans?" The attendant raised her brows and Alexandra nodded.

"They are in the children's center." She said and Alexandra sighed as she immediately went in the direction.

"They are at the children's center, Cassidy. I'll call you back later." She said and ended the call. Doreen appeared beside her as she managed to keep up with Alexandra's hurried footsteps.

"Jace, Jade!" She gasped when she saw the kids and they ran into her arms immediately. She hugged them both tightly to calm her palpitating heart. Honestly, if she had not found them with Liam, she might have lost it.

"Mom, Sally was injured badly." Jade said as she pointed at Sally who was holding Liam's hand for support.

"What happened to her?" Alexa asked.

"We were about to go to Jace's classroom when Alice appeared and placed her leg in the spot. Sally tripped over and rolled down the stairs," Jade explained and Alexandra sighed painfully looking at Sally.

"Are you okay, Sally?" She walked closer to her and checked her leg, "Does it hurt?"

"Just a little. Jade's dad took care of everything," Sally said.

"Jade's dad?" She looked up at Liam.

"Yes, mommy. We just found out that Uncle is our daddy," Jade said excitedly with a smile.

"Jade, who told you that? I told you not to trust strangers!" Alexandra snapped.

"But uncle is not a stranger. He's our daddy, just like you are our mommy!" Jade argued and Alexandra scoffed, looking at Liam.

"What exactly did you do?" She raised a brow.

"A DNA test." He replied blankly and walked closer to her.

"A ring?" He held her finger up and noticed the ring had been removed, "It wasn't even a wedding ring for you to have removed it." He smirked.

"Let me go!" She dragged her hand away from his hold.

"Alexa!" He called and she moved back in shock at his sudden outburst. His face was contorted in pain as he stared at her angrily, "How long were you going to hide that these kids were mine?"

Doreen bit her lips to hold down a whimper as she stared at them both. The children was for Liam? Was this the reason her boss loathed him? How did it happen?

"How did you feel keeping my children away from me for so long?" Tears formed in his eyes as he looked at her and she scoffed.

"I felt good. It was nice having children that didn't know how evil their father is," she said curtly as she took Sally from him in her arms and started walking out.

"Alexandra, we have to talk about this." Liam said behind her and she nodded,

"Yes, we do and when I'm ready I'll give you a call. Till then, stay away from my children!" She said and walked out of the place. Doreen held Jace and Jade and nudged them to follow.

"Isn't Daddy coming with us?" Jade asked Jace and Jace shook his head.

"He'll come later," Doreen said and Jade turned,

"Bye daddy," she waved with a smile and Liam couldn't help but smile despite the hurt in his eyes.

He watched them leave as pain arised in his heart. He held the results tightly as tears slipped out of his eyes.

"I have kids," he smiled and smiled again.
