Chapter 17 Seventeen
Alexandra rushed out of the company, barely keeping her gaze straight as she got into her car with shaky hands. She was the problem, she was seriously the problem. She had paid no attention to the kids. If she had and she had gone earlier to wait for them even before they closed, no one would be able to steal her kids.
"Cassidy, Cassidy, please come meet me at Royal High." Her voice resonated in her own ears, mirroring the shaky one that had left her lips.
She pressed on the accelerator, swerving out of the parking lot as she drove straight to the kids school.
"Doreen." She called the moment she got to where she was.
"Ma?" Doreen turned to look at her, she was currently talking with one of the teachers that worked at the school.
"Found them yet?" She asked and Doreen shook her head slowly, "I haven't, ma."
"Come on, spread out, they have to be somewhere in the school. Let's look for them quickly." Alexandra said.

Jade walked out from her class again, with Sally beside her, giggling as they spoke about what had happened in class before. A smaller child had peed himself when a bug flew and landed on his body.
"What are you doing?" Alice asked as she crossed their paths and stood at their front.
"Walking." Jade replied, as she held Sally's hand and proceeded to follow another way past the stairs, but Alice had planted her leg and Sally had rolled down the three stairs, landing on her knees, which were gashed.
Jade gasped as she rushed to her and helped her up, blood was rushing down the open wound and tears were falling out of Sally's eyes as she cried due to the painful wound.
"Apologize to her, Alice!" Jade demanded and Alice was about to say something which she quick swallowed when she saw Liam walking in. He was checking classes to see if he would find Jade and Jace when he had suddenly heard the strange cry and had run in their direction.
"Let's go, that's my nosy uncle." Alice tapped Daisy and they ran away together, disappearing after the next class.
"What happened?" Liam knelt down beside Sally, checking her wound. She was bleeding too much.
"That niece of yours is at it again. I'm going to beat her into a pulp one day." Jada said seriously and Liam sighed.
"Come on, Jade, we have to take your friend to the hospital." He said.
"Wait, let me pick our bags and call my brother." She said quickly and rushed into the class, coming back a minute later with hers and Sally's bag.
"Let me get Jace!" She said again and rushed into the second class, coming out after a while with Jace.
"Sally, what happened to your knee?" He asked, with wide eyes and she cried the more.
"I think it's itching her, we have to get her to the hospital." Liam said and carried Sally in his arms as he started walking briskly to his car. Jade followed but turned back when she saw Jace still standing.
"What are you doing, Jace? We have to accompany Sally to the hospital!" She said.
"Jade, you know, Mom said we shouldn't talk to strangers. Especially this man." He said and Jade scoffed.
"So you want us to leave our friend in the hand of a stranger? If Sally's disappearing with him, I'm going too. And you should also go with her sister. Meet me in the car!" She snapped and ran off.
Jace sighed and went back to the class to talk with someone, before he quickly followed Jade.

Jade and Jace stood beside Liam as they stared at Sally's knee being treated carefully.
"Does it hurt, Sally?" Jade asked and Sally nodded in reply.
"It's stinging." She said.
"Don't worry. That's how it is. It also stinged me when they treated my hand." Jade said, shaking her head in front of Sally.
"What happened to your hand?" Liam asked, checking her arm. He had noticed before but didn't have the opportunity to ask.
"I placed it inside a bucket of hot water."
"Oh my God!" Liam held her arm immediately to inspect, "Where was your mother?" He shot.
"Mom went for her gala." Jade shrugged and he sighed. That must be the reason she was rushing out that day.
"You should be careful next time, Jade." He said and she nodded, "Thanks uncle." She said and immediately Liam felt a pang of pain rush through him. He was sure he was their father, but she was calling him 'uncle.' An idea suddenly popped into his head and he held both their hands, taking them to another room.
"Where are you taking us?" Jace asked, staring up at him and he smiled,
"For a test. I need to know you both are not sick." He said.
"Why do you have to do that?" Jade asked, "Mom always takes us for a test every month." She said.
"Your mom does that?" Liam asked and she nodded cutely, making him smile.
"What's that, uncle?" She pointed at a picture and Liam chuckled as he looked at it,
"It's a skeleton." He said.
Just then, Jade and Jace heard the clip of a scissors behind them and they turned,
"Uncle, why are they cutting out hair?" Jade asked and Jace's eyes widened as he rushed to the mirror to check his dark hair.
"It wasn't that much." Liam said and Jace shot him a look.
"Take permission next time." He said and Liam nodded lightly, "Jace is really one of a kind." He muttered underneath his breath.
"Let's go back to Sally, kids." He said and they went back to the room Sally was being taken care of. Her leg had been covered with a cute baby plaster and she was smiling already, dried tears covering her face.
Jade went to her and hugged her affectionately, patting her back, "Don't worry, your injury won't hurt anymore."
Liam smiled as he stared at the kids and then turned when the nurse tapped him.
"The tests are out, Mr Jordans." The lady said.
"What are the results?" Liam asked, biting his lower lips nervously.
"Congratulations. It proved that you are ninety nine percent the father of the twins." She said and Jace turned.
"You are our father?"
"Uncle is our daddy?"
