CHAPTER 40
"I'm going back to bed now." I stood up from sitting on his lap, trying to avoid his gaze because I don't want him to see the blush the creep through my face after I realized I was basically losing myself because of the desire he's giving me.
"Aren't you going to cook for me first?" His so sweet voice made me raise my brow, causing him to scratch the back of his head as if he was shy. "I didn't eat anything earlier, I wasn't sure if you eat already so I tried to wait for you and we can eat together." He looks like a shy teenager and so do I.
I lend my hand to him and he don't have to think about it. He grab it instantly and we both walk towards the dining area. I just cook some simple food and we ate together without saying anything. Just our presence was enough.
After that, he told me to rest inside with the triplets and he'll be the one to clean the whole place. "You don't have to, really." I kept on pulling his arm away from the dishes. He told me that he want to learn how to clean so he can do it for the whole day and made me rest.
"Let me do this, okay? You have been doing all of this for the last seven years. Let me be the one to do all of this, okay? Go get some rest." He kissed me on the forehead and on the lips, leaving me speechless and giddy.
I nod and walk towards the room but as I was about to open it, I stopped from my track and called him. "Zion, after that, you can sleep here with us. The bed is big enough for all of of us to fit." I offered him a smile and didn't wait for his answer.
With a huge smile plastered on my lips, I hugged Ziex and let myself drown to sleep.
I nuzzle my face on the hard thing in front of me, it was hard yet comfortable and hot. I squeezed myself more when an arm pulled me closer until I was basically on top of this person.
My forehead furrowed in sleep and my hands touched to feel whoever it is that I'm sleeping with. I tried to remember how the Triplets body's feel like and I don't remember any of them being this hard.
My eyes immediately open and I stopped myself from shrieking when I'm literally on top of Zion. He was now wearing a new shirt that I don't know where he have been taking. I look around the place and it was only the two of us here.
Even the Triplets weren't sleeping with us and that made me realize that they might have see me in this position with Zion. Oh my god! That is so embarrassing!
I silently and slowly got off him so not to wake him up, but I forgot that Zion has wrapped his hand on my waist so I still pulled him with me without me knowing. He woke up because of my sudden movement and he started scratching his eyes as if not bothered that we are the only ones inside the room.
"Good morning," he greeted and pulled me closer to him before he buried his face on my breasts. "How's your sleep?" I can feel his breath on my tips and I'm afraid he might feel it standing any seconds.
"Fine, let's go out. The kids are already awake." The truth is, I just want to stay away from him as much as possible. I won't be able to stop the heat of my body if he keeps on doing this kind of gestures.
We both agreed to stay in that position for a good five minutes. After that, we went out of the room and my eardrums almost burst out when I heard the squeals and screams from the people outside as soon as they saw me.
"Allison!"
"Baby, oh my god!"
"Allison, are you alright!?"
My lips quiver and my tears started dropping down on my cheeks. It was my family. Mom, dad, Anniza, Amelia and Zion's parents. All of them was inside our house and playing with the Triplets. The whole house started to look like a jungle because of the huge boxes full of foods, clothes and toys.
"What are you doing here?" I sobbed and cried as I run to mom's embrace. Dad also came to hug me with my sisters and all I could do was cry. "I miss you so much." I can't say the words straightly because of too much crying.
The triplets saw how I reacted so Zam started crying too. Zion quickly took her in his arms but Ziex and Zaile started to get teary when they saw me crying and whimpering.
"Mommy..." Zaile quietly called. The sides of his lips were tugged downward and he was already wiping his tears as he silently cry. "Mommy, don't cry." He said with his weak voice so I forced myself to stop crying, but I couldn't.
All the emotions I have to keep hidden poured out the moment I saw all of the important persons in my life. I missed them so much.
"How did you found us? How did you know that we're here?" I kept hugging mom as if I have no intention of letting go. After all seven years, I haven't even bond with them for the past years before I decided to run away. I have been a total disappointment to them. I have been the worst daughter a parents could raise and I want to beg for their forgiveness forever. "I'm sorry, mommy. I'm so sorry."
The boys who were silently crying looks so overwhelmed at my reaction and that the three of them... The four of us to be exact, are now crying loudly. Zion don't know who to approach first when he already have Zam in his arms.
"It's alright, baby. Everything is fine now. The important is that we are all here together. Please, don't leave us again, baby." That made me cry harder to the point that I feel like I'll lose my consciousness in any minute.
"Don't hurt our mommy!"
I finally let go of my parents when Ziex started to throw tantrums. He was sobbing heavily while pulling the hem of dad's clothes, stomping his feet and lightly pulling my hand to pull me out of their hugs.
"Mommy!" Then there was Zaile who can't breath anymore for too much crying.
I wiped my tears and sat on the couch, Ziex and Zaile immediately hugged me as Zam wiggled his way to tell Zion to put her down. I hugged them three while our families just stared at us, still at daze as they look at the triplets with so much adoration.
"Baby, are they... yours?" Mom asked, I don't know if they knew about my pregnancy when I run away.
"They are, mom. I was pregnant with them when I run away from... Zion." I inhaled a large amount of air to calm me. The Triplets grip just got tighter, Zam was hugging me from the back, Ziex was burying his face on my stomach and I was rubbing Zaile's back as keep his face hidden at the side of my chest.
Something flicker in their eyes. It was kind of longing, love and affection for the triplets. Zion's mom kneeled on his feet to level her height to the Triplets.
"Hi, I'm your grandma Lena. Can I have a hug?" She was talking with Zaile and all of us waited for his reaction. I haven't told them about Zion yet. I'm not yet ready but I want to take this time to tell them.
I smiled when Zaile stood up, he used his shirt to wipe his tears on his cheeks before fixing his hair. I like that he always wants to look formal whenever he wants to meet someone. He looked at me once, asking for my permission so I nodded.
He instantly run towards Aunt Lena and hugged her on the neck, together with Uncle Zeck. The two adored him so much so when my eyes accidentally landed on Zion, he was also smiling ear to ear. It feels like I haven't seen him smile like that for ages.
"What about me? I don't have a grandma?" Ziex interfered, also fixing his hair and stretching his face to look good.
"They are also your grandparents." Zion was the one who answered and walk towards him. "This is grandma Lena, and he's grandpa Zeck." He introduced his parents to the Triplets and they were happily hugging them with kisses.
Zam was still behind me, don't want to let go as he hug get tighter and tighter.
"We are also you grandma and grandpa, babies. I'm your grandma Anya and he's your papa Antonio." Mom also want to introduce herself. She was smiling at Zam and the little girl scrunch her nose.
"Mommy?" She was asking if she can also go to them so when I gave her a signal, she happily and excitedly run towards them. Gone was the sad and crying faces as it was replaced with happiness and smiles. "Don't we have a daddy too?" She scream it a little louder and it cause the elders, including my sisters to stilled.
They don't know that I'm still keeping Zion from them so when I met mom's eyes, something in her that's telling me I'm doing the wrong thing. I pouted my lips, feeling helpless.
"Tell them, baby. I know they'll understand. And don't you know that Zion almost don't eat and keeps on working while he looks for you over those years. They deserve to know the truth, baby." Mom's soothing voice was giving me assurance.
My eyes diverted to Zion, his eyes were also begging and pleading so finally letting out a relaxing sigh. I asked the Triplets to come to me so I can tell them about Zion.
"Do you want to meet daddy?" I wanted to deliver it to them slowly and carefully. I don't want them to feel pressure about accepting that truth and reality of our family. "Are you going to be happy if I tell you about daddy?" They nod happily but my heart was going wild and crazy.
It just can't stop beating too fast. I bit the insides of my cheeks, I want to ask for Zion's help but I can't look at him right now especially that a tear was forming at the side of my eyes.
"Promise you won't get mad at mommy?" My lips trembled and my whole body shiver out of nervousness. They shook their heads simultaneously and waited for my next word. "Look at mister..." I aske them to look at Zion and I was surprised to see them obediently following. "He looks exactly like you, isn't he?" He's your father.
I want to directly say it but something is stopping me. And it was the thought that they might hate me forever once they know.
"Is he our daddy?" All of us stilled and neither can talk. The Triplets were waiting for an answer so when I nod my head once, a wide grin escaped through Ziex lips and it made him the exact replica of Zion. "I knew it! That means Aldrich is not our dad, right?"
That pulled me off confusion and my face instantly wrinkled, when my eyes accidentally met Zion, he has the same reaction as me but his was worst. It's like he's ready to enter a fight but it suddenly changed into a bright smile as he walks towards the children.
"I told you I'm your dad," he proudly open his arms for an embrace and Zam quickly ran towards him. "You believe me now, princess?" He kissed her on the cheeks and I felt so betrayed that I was the only one who don't know what's happening.
"What... How... They knew!?" I exclaimed at Zion and my eyes were full of fury.
"Babe, please let me explain." He approached me with Zam on his arm. "It was Ziex who asked me first, okay? He was the one who asked me if I was their dad and of course I don't want to lie." He's looking too defensive that instead of lashing out to him, I run again to my parents to feel their sympathy towards me.
We watch as Zam went down from Zion's hug and run towards the door of our small house. She opened the door and slip her head outside before shouting through the whole neighborhood.
"Our daddy is already here! And he's rich!"
