SOFIE

It’s been a month since we buried my father. We are in our house right now together with grandpa and Madam, Liam was sitting beside me and Mr. Ronald is at the back.

“ Sofie when will you go back to France?” asked my mom.

“ ahm tomorrow—”

“ We want you to come with us mom” I looked at Liam, not because she asked my mom to come with us but because of calling her mom.

“ I’m sorry son, but I need to fix all the things that your father left us. Sofies brothers and sisters cant do it all” said mom

“ that unfortunate to hear but it’s okay,” I said.

“ I will be okay here, don’t mind me because your father left me so many happy memories here, what’s important right now is for you to give us a grandson” my eyes widened for what mom said.

“ don't worry because we are planning about that” I look at Liam, what is happening to him? He was mad before but now he isn’t.

“ haha! Don’t plan it, go upstairs and do it. Your mom and grandfather need to talk something with me. You may go now” what! Is mom crazy how was she able to do that to us?

“ Liam goes with Sofie, we know that you both need some rest so go upstairs and have a rest I will take care of your mom and grandfather here” Liam agreed he stand up and look at me.

“ my lady, do you want me to carry you? “ I was surprised that he called me that way but I stand up and walk upstairs and he followed me.

“ We don’t have big space here unlike in France,” I said. He nodded and started strolling around my room until he notice a picture. It’s our picture when we were still young.

“ where did you get this?” he asks.

“ It was given by a photographer he said he was happy to see us enjoy playing so he took a picture of us and gave it to me,” I said.

“ we looked liked brothers here, you look more manly than us in this photo” I frowned so I took the photo from him.

“ can you please stop touching my things here,” I said? He just look at me and started roaming around again until he notice something again.

“ oh my cap, this was the most expensive cap that I lost before, how did you get it” I can’t believe he recognize it.

“ you’re just too weak to think of a plan on how to get it back that’s why I was the one who took it,” I said.

“ But why did you take it?” he ask and look at me, I look away from him.

“ huh? Because you were crying that time and you look sad” I said

“ Why did you keep it?” Why are you asking many questions?

“ I just forgot to give it back to you,” I said, I walk away and sit on my bed to get loose of him.

“ really? I don’t think that’s the real reason. You get it for me but you kept it, don’t tell you to have feelings for me back there” I can’t believe what he said.

“ can you stop assuming, as I said I went to take it because you were crying that time and I kept it but I forgot to give it back to you” I explained?

“ mmm I thought you also had feelings for me” my heart is beating so strongly but wait, did he say “also?” So he has a feeling for me back then.

“ that’s what you think,” I said, I stand up and went to the window to keep my feelings from him and he stops talking.

“it’s not bad to say that you like me” I was surprised. He hugs me

“ of course not, so please stop assuming,” I said and he laughs

“ So that’s the reason why I’m crazy in love with you” OH MY GOD! I was freaking inside! I can’t stop myself from smiling but this is the only time I heard him laugh. Did he come back already or he was just doing it because dad died.

“ Do whatever you want, I’ll rest” I went to my bed and lay down.

“ I’ll lay with you” he lay beside me and I don’t know what to do

“ what are you doing?” I ask.

“ laying, is it bad?” he asks.

“ Why are you lying beside me? Stay on the couch” he ignored what I said

“ Why do I have to stay on the couch? We are already married so we should lay together” he said

I can’t do anything about it so I just close my eyes and sleep.

“ My lady, “ he said.

“ hmmm?” I replied.

“ Do I look handsome when you saw me?” I opened my eyes and look at him but his eyes were close

“ no you’re not,” I said, I close my eyes again. I can’t believe he will ask me about that

“ liar, you can’t even remove your eyes from me”

“ I know that I’m handsome and you never thought that you can marry a handsome guy like me” here goes his ego

“ Okay, okay you are handsome is that enough,” I said

“ So you fall in loved with me, even more, when you saw me?” oh my god, what’s wrong with him?

“You had feelings for me before when we were still young and you even fall in love with me when I was still hiding so now that you already saw me then you fall in love with me, right” I didn’t reply to him I just pretend that I was already sleeping. It seems that he knew that I was already asleep because he didn’t talk anymore until I felt that he kissed me so I opened my eyes and I look at him.

“ don’t forget to kiss me before you sleep” he winked at me. Oh no my heart wants to burst!.
