Chapter 40

In the cloudy evening time, the chill drowsy breeze slowly came into her room, when it gently fondled her skin, Roshini all of a sudden felt a strange feeling inside her. She smiled thinking the person who made her feel this way, her flow of thoughts got intensified when she reminded about that kiss and touch that sensation instantly gave goosebumps. Her hands stopped folding her dress, she just froze and the rhythm of her heartbeat sounding new than usual. She placed her palm on her chest to feel it. The fact that she is going to stay with Siddharth just took her to a dreamy world where she imagined so many things, she smiled, blushed and whined for all of that.

Sitting in her room filled with the sound of her favorite song, Roshini again came back to reality. After folding her clothes and closing her suitcase she laid on her bed, waited for Siddharth to come and take her with him. Today morning she said everything that happened yesterday to Nidhi and she was so happy than Roshini to hear that. Nidhi cheered her to stay without having a fear about her family or anyone and she agreed since she also felt the same.

Roshini told her roommates about vacating her room and they said they will stay here for a few more months. Now Roshini is all ready to leave this place. While she was resting peacefully her phone started to ring.

She immediately roused up from her bed when she saw Siddharth's name on the screen.

Clearing her throat, she attends the call, "Hello?"

"Come out?" Siddharth casually uttered the words. No excitement or happiness in his voice.

"Okay," Roshini nodded her head and ended the call.

Taking her two trolley bags, and putting her sling bag that Nidhi gifted her long back she walked out of her room. She is still using that bag since Roshini wanted to be a minimalist she is practicing minimalism. She won't buy costly clothes even though she is earning a lot now. Saving money was her inborn nature.

She saw Siddharth standing beside his car and watching her intently. She smiled seeing him and her heart was thumping in a beautiful rhythm.

"Only two bags?" he asked.

"Yeah, few things I felt in the house itself," she replied.

Siddharth bought the bags from her hand, it reminded Roshini how he used to take her books from her hands when they go for the library. She blushed and looked him like seeing a wonder. Oh, God...

"Get in," he grinned and opened the door and Roshini gladly accepted it, sat inside.

Siddharth started driving the car, he turned on the music player and Roshini kept silent since she doesn't know what to talk with him right now.

Will he kiss me again when we get there? She questioned like that old Roshini and she couldn't control that smile after all.

Oh my god, what I will do then... She mentally screamed.

Should I have to allow him? She asked her inner self.

Just do it Roshini after all he is your future! But only if he takes a step in that, it advised.

Hmm, Roshini nodded.

"Hey!"

"Umm?"

"Talk something why you are silent?" Siddharth said.

"Hugh how was your day?"

"Hmm fine, but in the coming days I will arrive late," he replied.

Siddharth stopped the car before a grocery shop and he asked Roshini to wait in the car but she insisted on coming with him. They both carried two baskets.

"Rosh buy whatever you feel is needed for our house," he said.

Our house! God, I am going to die in this happiness she again screamed mentally and walked to the other row to freely smile without his disturbance.

She took some tea, coffee packs. Sugar, salt dal, chili, and garam powder. When she was standing and thinking about whether to buy biscuits Siddharth walked to her.

"Finished?" he asked.

"Hmm yeah," she said and Siddharth carried both the baskets to the bill counter. After purchasing they came out of the shop. Roshini finds this ambiance like they were actually married. The only thing that is missing here is hand-holding. She badly wanted to hold his hand but the grocery bags were tightly clutched by him.

"Did your dad knows about our love?" she asked while traveling back home.

"Hmm yes, don't you know that?" he asked.

"No, when did you told him,"

"It was when your dad got into that accident right, that time I told everything to him for asking help," he replied and Roshini was shocked. That earlier? So because of this he always interested in what I am doing? She understood everything and gave a stunned expression.

"Did your dad know that we were going to live together?" she added in that same shock.

"Hmm yes, actually he only gave this idea. He advised me to enjoy this time before marrying," he nonchalantly said.

Roshini felt so embarrassed. She doesn't want anyone to know about this but now... what will my future father in law think about me?

Seeing her face Siddharth can feel what she must be thinking now.

"Rosh, don't be so conservative, I have decided you as my one and only in every means a very long back and till now I haven't changed that decision. I can never think of anyone than you. So trust me and threw away this guilty face before fully committing to me," he didn't say that as a request but as his perspective on this.

"Hmm," Roshini nodded head assuring that she won't do that again.

It almost became 7.30 pm when they reached the house. Roshini carrying her bag followed Siddharth inside the house.

He headed to the kitchen to keep the groceries and Roshini gazing the big living room felt eccentric about the fact they are going to live in this big house and alone!!

Siddharth came out, his eyes briefly glanced her from head to toe when she was looking at the other side. Locking the door behind Siddharth went carrying her bag to his room.

"You keep your clothes in this," he said pointing the cupboard.

"And if you want extra space then you can keep that on that cupboard, but I think this one is enough," he added.

"And... my bed was large enough to accommodate both of us. So... sleep with me in my bed," Roshini gulped hearing that.

Is that Siddharth who I loved in my college? The guy who will think a lot before touching my hand but now? He has really changed, Roshini thought.

"What you say?" he demanded. She silently whispered her answer is yes.

After he left the room, Roshini sighed in relief as he didn't do anything unusual till now, it is not like she is expecting but what if he does, she is scared about that. Keeping her bags aside Roshini took her specs out from her bag, putting that she sat on the bed. The next two days were weekend so twitching her fingers Roshini thought how to escape from Siddharth. It feels so awkward to be in this state. She went out gradually and saw Siddharth was arranging the groceries in the cupboards.

"Do you want any help?" Roshini offered.

"Yeah, prepare some coffee," he replied.

Nodding her head Roshini took a milk pack from the fridge. After placing the milk to boil Roshini again turned her gaze to Siddharth.

"Do you still have that letter I gave?"

Siddharth closing the cupboard turned to face her. "How can I throw that?" he asked and dangerously shortened the distance between them.

"You know what I still can't able to believe that you were with me, I mean I am feeling like I was in a dream world," Roshini slurred looking down.

Siddharth gradually put his arms around her waist and looked her in a mischievous way. "Do you understand what...?" she stuttered when he little by little shortened the distance between their lips.

Siddharth was not like before, his boyish look was all gone and he is more of a man and became very muscular than before. Roshini stared him in wide eyes and her pupil dilated when he kissed her cheeks. He took the specs from her eyes and slowly leaned in to kiss. Once his lips brushed hers, the butterflies start to flutter inside her. She gripped his shirt when he nibbled her lower lip, soon he used his tongue and demanded the entrance, when he got access, he started kissing her like eating her alive.

Roshini enthralled by this sudden kiss. She tried to kiss him back but before his dominance, her trying is all nothing since he is playing to win not just participating. Finally, at the end of a passionate kiss, he bites her lower lip little hard before leaving her.

"Now your doubt has cleared right?" he asked breathing near her lips.

She smiled biting her lip. "Answer me," he asked lifting her chin.

"Hmm," Roshini again nodded her head raising up her gaze to him.

They were distracted by the sound of boiling milk that was about to fall out of the vessel. Roshini pushed off Siddharth and turned off the stove.

Siddharth smiling went out of the kitchen, getting the coffee in two cups she followed him. She searched for Siddharth in the hall and found him in his room, their room. She entered a perfect bad time where he is removing his shirt.

His strong biceps and toned body made her astounded, "Coffee?" she excused to get his attention and avoided looking him straight.

"Yeah," he said while putting on his black T-shirt, he was attracting her more than he used to do it in the college.

Taking the cup from her hand he sipped looking at her intently. "Why you are wearing glasses?" he asked.

"That is...I can't look at the bright screen for a long time and it becomes too dim, I consulted a doctor and he advised me to wear this specs," she replied.

"Oh... but it's nice though," he grinned.

"Shall we order something for dinner?" Siddharth asked and Roshini agreed.

He ordered food and Roshini started to unpack her bag. It took the whole half an hour to completely empty her suitcase meanwhile Siddharth was working something on his laptop.

Roshini came out and sat beside him, "What you are doing?" she asked him curiously.

"I am developing a program, soon I am planning to start my own software firm, my family doesn't know about this I am telling this only to you so don't open up this to them," Siddharth said.

"Sure, I won't," she smiled.

That time the delivery came and Roshini went out to collect it. That was a wonderful dinner, they had their food talking about their work experience and Siddharth told about his days in the US and all.

"Shall we sleep? I am feeling so tired," he asked when they were sitting out for some time. Today it was awkward and that is only for Roshini. She is feeling all-new, because she doesn't experience this before.

"Okay," she said. Siddharth offered his hand to her and they went to their bedroom. Taking her pajamas, she headed to the restroom to change her clothes.

Looking at herself in the mirror, she exhaled, inhaled again and again to calm her racing heart. Don't be nervous he is not going to eat you, she patted herself and came out.

Siddharth was already in the bed but he is awake perhaps waiting for me she thought and sat on the other corner of the bed and looked at him. But he turned off the lights and laid without telling anything to her.

Turning to the other side Roshini gritted her teeth for again ending up with him like this. When she was in her awkward thoughts Siddharth arms suddenly pulled her against his hard chest. Roshini for a second died in a shock.

"Now I can sleep peacefully," Siddharth muttered near her ears. She gently held his hand and turned to his side. Looking at his eyes, "Will this get difficult for us?" she asked touching his cheeks.

"It won't and I will never give a chance for that," Siddharth assured and pecked her lips.

Hugging her tight as he could Siddharth trailed kisses on her cheeks and neck.

"Better I sleep now," he gritted stopping himself and cuddling her.

Roshini being caged in his arms smiled in secret. That moment she prayed to God that this relationship has to last for eternal and closed her eyes feeling the excitement about the countless moments she is going to share with Siddharth, her love.
