The comfy bed and pillow is very inviting, and so she continue to shut her eyes and sink herself into it. The smell is also nice, sniffing the lavender and rose smell. She turned to the other side of the bed and hug a pillow while she put her legs above it.

The most comfortable position ever.

However, as she sniffs it, instead to linger the Lavender and rose, she smells a manly scent that completely made her conscious and so when she open her eyes, a pair of dark gray eyes pierce into her golden one. She was stunned for a moment and as soon as she remembered she quickly jumped off bed and fell into the floor.

"Shit! What are doing?!" Chase said and help her stand while she was holding her elbow that catch the impact of her whole weight.

"Why are we sharing the same bed? Where am I? What happen?" She asked while rasping her elbow.

"Look, this is my bed, and I'm going to lay on it whenever I want, whoever into it." He said, and the door opened, emerging Laide and Tomas.

"Brige, omygoshh you're awake!" Laide quickly went to her side and hug her.

"Laide?Tomas? What are you two doing here?" She asked confusedly.

"Why? Are we bothering something?" Tomas asked meaningfully.

"No." Chase and her both said. Seconds later Lennox, Maxton and Aiden entered.

"Glad you're already awake." Lennox said.

"Why, how many hours did I slept?"

"Not really much. You just slept for one week now." Maxton answered.

"One week? Why would I'm going to sleep a whole damn week? And why I'm where in his bed?" All of them fell in silence.

"You didn't remember anything?" Aiden asked.

"I just remember us going to the Camaraderie, and then I saw you guys, and you give me a gift. A-and then I was looking for Hera and Maxine told me she was in the cave and...and... Maxine." A hint of recognition hits her face

"That's right Brige. Maxine nearly killed you under the command of your grandfather." Maxton clarified.

"But why would he do that?"

"We don't know. But our theory is that he was planning something and that he thinks of you as a hindrance to it."

"B-but what about my mom? Did she know? I need to talk to her. Tell her everything~"

"No Brige." Lennox said. "You are not telling her everything, and you're not going to go there."

"But she needs to knew that I'm alive!"

"If she knew that you're alive and find out that it's your grandpa who was planning to kill you, she'll be dead." Maxton answered.

"Dead? What are saying she was already healed. She was transformed in the Camaraderie already~"

"Brige." Laide calls her. "She's not cured. She was cursed. That witch, which is your grandpa's accomplice, did curse her and now her life is depends on that witch. If your mom find out, she will be dead."

"I didn't understand. How did you know?"

"It was Hera." Tomas spoke. " He was running, and crying looking for you. She bump with is and pleaded Ericson so look for you because she heard everything your grandpa was planning. He command his men and Maxine to kill you. And then, a boy came to us, beaten, saying that Maxine brought you to the cave and that's how we found out."

"I-its was Jordan. He tried to save me. How is he?"

"He's fine now."

"What about Maxine and the others? What did you do to them?"

"Well, luckily Chase's friend Ivan, the Alpha of Meraculese is also known for witchcraft and so he chanted a spell to them remembering that you just escape and run away. They will never remember anything that happen that night except from that. However, Hera is also burning that evening. She chanted the thing to Maxine and so she is now is deep sleep."

"How could she do that?"

"Only with elemental powers can do that. You will learn it as soon as you started your training." Aiden said.

She sighs heavily. "Tell me you're planning something."

"We are. And that's starts right now. Get up, you already slept for a week now!" Laide said and drag her out of the room, heading to the kitchen.

"Here. Eat first." Laide placed a white pasta and water in front of her, and so she ate. She then, look who seated beside her, and it was Chase also having the same meal.

"Staring won't make you full." He said and then gaze at her.

"Why am I in your bed? Why not in the guess room or beside Laide?" She asked before drinking water.

"Why are you always running away from your mate?" With that statement of him, she coughed water and look at him. Glad it was just the two of them in the kitchen.

"You knew?" He nodded.

"Since when?"

"Since the first time I saw you."

"But how? I'm not even she-wolf that time."

"But I am already and I felt it. I felt it every time you're around, and I hate it." He admitted.

"You hate me?" She asked, looking directly at him.

"No. I hate it because I'm afraid. Look, I still don't know that time how that you're going to accept this fate. I always thought you're going to run away, and so I keep my distance to you to avoid, you know, disappointing." He said while playing his food with the fork.

"C-can I asked?"

"What?"

"Mom says the bond between mate is very strong that you two, as mate, can communicate through telepathy. A-are you the one who~"

"Who spoke to your mind?" She nodded.

"Yes. I was just testing if you are really my mate and then when I felt that you heard it, I know it's real." That made her speechless.

"Are you not going to ask who is that wolf you see through your window? Before?

"Is that you?"

"It's Lennox. I asked him to look for you because Galory that time has a plan to get you."

"Get me from what?"

"For experimentation."

"Kit also felt them during they stay in the house. He said Galory pack are in their. But why didn't they get me on the Camaraderie that night?"

"You have my protection, Brige. How about you, when did you know that you are my mate? The time I was about to tell you, you left me" He asked

"Well, when you let me came here, I suddenly felt my heart pounding fast and that I'm scared so I did run. I still don't know the mate thing that time. Mom just explain. And then I found out that you are my mate when I saw Maxton on that night transformed himself. I already knew it was you."

"I'm so sorry." He suddenly said.

"Sorry for what?"

"I didn't know what is going to happen that night. I should've, eyed on you. I will make sure wouldn't even slap you ones."

"Don't blame yourself. You saved me. Thank you. B-but I was thinking."

"What is it again?"

"Are we going to be together? I mean, I thought mates from other packs cannot be together. They said that. Just like my mom and dad."

"How'd you know about them?"

"Well, I just guess. Mom's from Manchada and my dad is from Burgeon. Isn't it the reason why they cannot be together? And the reason why my grandpa hates me so much? I just realized things."

"Half of what you said is true. But I'm not the one who could tell. Maybe your dad."

"M-my dad?"

"Yeah. He's the Alpha of the Burgeon's Brige." Her face went in shocked.

"What?"

"I'm his Beta."

"Where is he?"

"At their house. It's not the time, Brige."

"Then when?"

"Maybe after your training. I will always with you from now on. I promise."
