Daisy:

,,Liam. It hurts so much,,,," I whispered and closed my eyes.

,,I know Daisy. But you have to endure it. You have to be strong and endure it,,,," he said and he put my legs even higher and lifted them. I thought I was going to die from the pain. It hurt.

,,If we exercise like this, in a while you will be able to walk and not just on crutches,," he whispered and smiled at me.

,,It hurts,,," I said again and gritted my teeth. The pain was incredible. He bent my legs and then put them back in their original place.

,,Done. We continue in a few hours. You have to endure it Daisy. If you endure it, in a short while you will be able to walk again.  You'll get back on your feet, you'll be able to walk again,"

,,When I get through this,"

,,Why shouldn't you get through this, Daisy? You're a strong person. You've been through so much. You were completely paralyzed. Now you can walk, even if on crutches. In a while, you'll be able to walk again. You'll have a full life, like you used to. Try to rest. You must be in pain and when you wake up, we'll eat. I'll cook something, Daisy. I'm an excellent cook," Liam said and smiled at me.

,,But you're not going anywhere, are you?," I asked him and covered myself with the duvet.

,,Don't worry, Daisy. I'm here.. I'm with you. Nothing will happen to you. I'm not going anywhere," he said and sat down next to me

,,I trust you," I whispered and smiled at him.  I felt him kiss my hair. I don't know what I felt for him. I didn't know if it was love, but he meant a lot to me.

He stood by me in the worst situations. He helped me. He got me out of the worst. But I felt that everything wasn't over yet. I knew that my mother would still get revenge on me for everything.

Liam:

,,What's Daisy doing?,,, Chris asked me, who came to my house.

,,She's sleeping. I know you'd like to see her, Chris. I was exercising with her. She was in a lot of pain, so I wanted her to go lie down. She fell asleep. Did something happen? You look terrible,,"

,,I need to talk to you, Liam. And alone.. Somewhere where she won't hear us,,"

,,Come on out on the terrace. Daisy's in my room.. You're scaring me. I haven't seen you like this in a very long time,," I said and we went out on the terrace together.  You sat down and I looked at me.

"Do you remember that girl Liam? The girl that James attacked? I saw her today and I also talked to her,"

"Yes.. I talked to her today. About everything.. But especially about James and Daisy. You should know that. Daisy is my daughter and James is your son,"

"James said he has a bad relationship with you. That you don't give him anything and that you don't care about him.  I told her that it definitely wasn't and that he was lying,"

"James never loved her, Liam. But she loved him very much. She wanted to be with him. She wanted to be with him. You have to make her forget him. Liam, please. She has to get him out of her head,"

"I'm trying, Chris. Do you think I'm not trying? I told her how I feel yesterday,"

"What did she say to you? Does she still love James?  "Even after what he did?" he asked me. I sat down on a chair and drank my whiskey.

"She told me I was a wonderful man and that she was grateful to me for everything but that she couldn't give me what I wanted. She couldn't love me. I don't know if it was because she forgot to love or because she loved him. But I'm not going to give up. I know we're talking about Daisy. Your daughter, but I liked her the moment I saw her,"

"I know. You kept talking about her," Chris said and smiled at me.

"I really liked her. I still like her. I just wanted to help her. To get out of the worst of it, but I didn't expect it to turn out like this.
