Chapter 47 Interview with Emma
I woke up in Liam's arms in the morning. He was asleep. I smiled and closed my eyes. I felt him wake up and put his hand in my hair. I smiled and looked at him.

,,Daisy,,"

,,I thought you were sleeping Liam,,"

,,Daisy. What happened yesterday.. I know I shouldn't have done it. I'm sorry,,"

,,Liam. Don't apologize to me okay? It really was beautiful. You were very gentle and fragile but I can't give you what you want yet. I can't give you the love you deserve,," I murmured quietly.

,,Daisy. I'll wait for you okay? I just want to be a part of your life.  I just want this," he said and hugged me

"It's been a long time. For months now Liam. You've helped me. You've saved my life. You care about me. You're a wonderful part of my life," I said and smiled.

Chris:

I was sitting in a cafe thinking about my daughter Daisy.. That girl came up to me. The girl James attacked.

"Hi. You look pretty sad. Can I get you something?" she asked and smiled at me. She had beautiful brown hair.

"Coffee. Shall we talk?"

"I'll get it for you and we can," she said and left. She came back a moment later. She handed me the coffee and smiled at me. She sat down on a chair.

"You.. You know Daisy, right?" I asked her and she nodded.

"I know her.  She worked with me at the coffee shop for a while and I didn't treat her the best. I'm really sorry. I thought James and Zoe were right,"

"Are you going to tell me about it?"

"Why are you so interested in Daisy?" she asked me, raising her eyebrows.

"I'll tell you when you tell me. I'll tell you why I'm so interested and why I'm like this,"

"Look. I've known Daisy for a long time. Ever since we were in high school. I didn't go to college but she did. She wanted to be a doctor. She's had that goal for as long as I've known her. James was her love. The love of her life but he left her for Zoe. I'll tell you everything if you want but I want to know why.  Are you interested as a woman?,,"

,,Before.. Many years ago I had a relationship with her mother.. She got pregnant. She put the little girl in an orphanage and only a few weeks ago she confessed to me that it was Daisy.. I'm a doctor and Liam and I had DNA tests done. The tests were positive. That's why I need to know. I need to know everything about my daughter and you know her,,"

,,Oh my God. That means Mark is not her father. So now I understand why she had such a bad relationship with him,,"

,,I'm her father and I need to know everything about her. I really need to know everything,,"

,,Daisy was always different from her sister Zoe. They never liked each other. When she met James, the love of her life was Chris. She loved him very much. But he cheated on her and hurt her. She couldn't get over it. I told her many times to forget about her. I remember you.  You were with Liam the day I fired her,"

"Why did you do that? She didn't deserve it," I whispered

"I trusted James and Zoe. It was a mistake and I realize that. She left after that. I know from her sister Zoe that she was on the streets for a while,"

"Even before I knew she was my daughter, Liam helped her. He helped her a lot. He took her in and protected her. If it weren't for him, she might not even be here,"

"Liam is James's father, right?"

"He's very disappointed in him. He's disappointed in his behavior. Of everything. My daughter didn't deserve the pain that Lily, Mark, and even James caused her," I said and took a sip of my coffee.

"I know you didn't. Look, I didn't know what was true and what was reality.  I know now and I'm very sorry for how I treated her. She didn't deserve this. Liam loves her very much. I saw him standing up for her at the police station,"

"Since we've known her. Just since we've known her, Emma has been through a lot. Mark and Lily wanted to charge her with stealing the ring. She only got probation. Mark tried to kill her. I was there. Liam and I came home and we saw her with a knife stuck in her heart. She had an accident. She was paralyzed. They kidnapped her. Lily went to the hospital every day and insulted her. She had no pity for her. That's when I found out that this was my daughter,"

"And does Daisy know?" she asked me

"She doesn't know. I can't go up to her and say, 'Hi Daisy. I'm your dad. A dad who loves you so much but your mom won't let me be a part of your life. I can't tell her this, but I know she's okay. Liam is with her. He takes care of her. He protects her,"

"When we talked to James about his dad, he never said a nice word about Liam to me. I didn't even know him. He always told me how he didn't give a damn about him and how he didn't care about him," she said, and I had had enough. He can't be serious.

"That's not true. I've known Liam since school. We went to high school together. I was there when James was born. I've been his best friend, his counselor, for many years, Emma. He always gave him everything. He always took care of him. He paid for his college education, which he then gave up on. He gave him money.  He bought him an apartment, a car and sent his mother an incredible amount of money. I don't know what he was looking for by saying this but this is definitely not true," I said and finished my coffee.

"Let's see who we have here. Daisy is still missing," Lily said sarcastically. I looked at her and frowned.

"You have something to say. You owe me a lot over the years, Lily,"

"Lost years with your daughter? Don't be ridiculous. I don't know what she would look like if she found out you were her father. She wouldn't be thrilled. She wouldn't be thrilled at all,"

"One fine day I'll tell her. I'll tell her I'm her father and you'll pay me for it. I should have been there for her.  Instead, you've been trampling on her for years and destroying her psyche,"

"Destroyed? I'm just going to destroy her psyche. I'm not done yet, Chris. Not yet. She shouldn't have been born," she screamed at me
