Unfair act

He said to me with a look full of hatred , as I lay on the ground motionless .

"You will regret this!"

Carmina shouted, letting go of Sara's neck. She flew towards Emes, and just by touching him she knocked him down with an electric shock. Then I got back on my feet , concentrating all my energy in creating again the protection shield that assured me the possibility of an active fight without fear of being knocked down by telepathic attacks .

Carmina attacked Sara again , who was trying to knock her down with her fighting skills , but she was not able to do it . Actually bringing Carmina to the mansion as a support was the best idea I could think of .

Emes attacks were useless against the shield and I took advantage to hit him as hard as I could , and I looked for many ways to break his legs and head to kill him quickly . I could feel the victory in every attack that Carmina and I executed , this could be the beginning of the end of the Pocaterra brothers .

"Stop it, stop it all . Look no more , the prodigal son has returned home" .

Araticús commented ironically, trying to distract us from the battle we had almost won, just at that moment Carmina had managed to immobilize Sara and without a second's hesitation she snapped her neck mercilessly and threw her body to a corner of the room. To then be devoured by her wolf who quickly entered the scene when she was claiming the imminent victory.

"But how dare you murder one of us so mercilessly, you will extinguish with your life such a cruel act".

Araticús shouted , as he saw the body of his disciple being dismembered by the fangs of Carmina's wolf .

"We'll see about that, there is still no creature on earth that can bring me down. I think that's more than clear "

Commented Carmina , sketching a smile of victory on her lips .

"You will regret this, and you will pay for Sara's death with your life".

Emes murmured behind my back , while trying to knock me down .

"Wait , I need him alive . There is a punishment worse than death for that traitor ."

Said Araticus , thundering his fingers and smiling macabrely .

Suddenly from one of the stairs leading to the bedrooms , came out my father . Walking upright , dressed in fine clothes of the Middle Ages , and a somewhat sober and lost countenance . As if he had not the slightest emotion in his body .

"Father , I came for you . I will take you home ."

I said aloud when I saw him coming down the stairs , but he did not flinch .

Emes took advantage of the vulnerable moment to immobilize me and put me on my knees before Araticus . Carmina tried to attack him , but I signaled her not to make any move and she just watched .

"Your father is no longer the same as before , he is not interested in being saved . He himself has the strength to save himself and fight if that's what he wants . isn't he ?"

"That's right sir ."

Replied my father obediently , looking Araticus firmly .

"What are you saying father, I am Christian your son, don't you recognize me!

I asked in desperation, looking with disappointment as my father had become another puppet of the Pocaterra family.

But my father was not listening to me, he had been transformed into a cold and lifeless being, as if his soul had been ripped out of his body.

"It's useless, his soul belongs to me. He is now one of my disciples and therefore under my orders . Since you chose the wrong side , your father was wiser and chose the right side ."

The words of Araticus sought the goal of knocking me down and then be executed by Emes .

"Enough , you won't be able to beat us using your stupid sentimental arguments . If you are a powerful prince , fight like that and don't use dirty human trickery to persuade us ."

Carmina said, interrupting Araticus' tactic against me .

"Congratulations you have gained a shrewd defender, I hope she is as resistant to blows as her words are."

Araticús ordered my father to attack Carmina and fear filled me completely, I didn't want either of us to get hurt. I could only expect the worst.

"You think using this puppet as a decoy will get you to hurt me, you really don't know who you're dealing with."

Carmina had an ability to challenge authority imminently , she was not afraid of anything or anyone , so she was prepared to defend herself from any verbal or physical threat .

My father approached Carmina trying to attack her from behind , but she turned to give him a strong blow to the back of the legs and knocked him down leaving him lying on the ground without doing deep damage to him .I looked at her distressed , and she winked at me , something that gave me some sense of security in thinking that she would not hurt my father .

Araticus frowned as he looked at Carmina's dexterity , and attacked my father to punish him .

"Don't you dare hurt my father , or I will show no mercy ."

I told him firmly Araticus , grabbing him by one leg as I crawled to get to my father , and gave him a strong blow to Emes to release me from the oppression he exerted on my body .

"You are very brave to think that you will be able to save your father from me. I will leave him turned into a filthy rag , by the time I am done with him he will be a being that not even humans will be afraid of him because of how pathetic he will be."

Fulmine Araticús with her eyes as she listened to his words full of evil.

"And I'll have you turned into wolf food in less time than you can imagine."

Carmina commented menacingly , taking him by one arm with a firm grip .

Araticus felt cornered, and made a gesture to rise into the air to make an unexpected turn and throw us to the ground . Carmina and I fell sharply , and then came out of the four corners of the mansion an army of neophytes ready to attack us .

"They are too many , besides we must defend ourselves from my father and Emes . Let's take and go out the back , I will not leave him again ."

Carmina heeded my words , and ordered her wolf to fight the neophytes while I fought Emes and she took my father in her arms to take him out of the mansion .

As I fought Emes and watched my father was safe, Araticus took the advantage by allying with Emes to use his powers against me and try to take me down.

"Don't think that because you take your father from my presence you can save him, he belongs to me and he will never be the same as before."

Araticus grabbed me by the neck with a strong grip, to then throw me away from the room .

When I fell to the floor outside the mansion, with a loud thud . I looked around and to my surprise there was a circle of about twenty wolves surrounding the Pocaterra mansion.

"What are these filthy dogs doing surrounding my house ?"

I sketched a smile as I looked at all the wolves ready to attack , commanded by the gray wolf that was watching our backs . The wolves attacked Araticus and Emes quickly and they were trying to dodge them in every way possible ,it was the perfect distraction scenario for me to escape towards the Hall mansion without being chased .

I quickly flew over the exit of the Pocaterra mansion and ran as fast as I could away from there, hoping to find some trace of Carmina on the way to the Hall mansion. I ran several kilometers in the direction of the mansion but I could not detect any trace of Carmina it was supremely rare that even her stinky wet dog smell was not detectable at that moment.
