Chapter 214 Book 5: First Date With Him

Chapter 214 Book 5: First Date With Him
The next morning, for the first time, Isabella woke up to see Weston’s face inches away from hers, watching her intently.
“Good morning, Isabella,” he whispered in a husky morning voice, dipping his head to kiss her neck. Isabella blushed to see him first thing in the morning. She had wanted this ever since she had returned home, and it made her bask in the warmth of Weston’s embrace.
“Good morning, Weston,” she answered, closing her eyes as a tremor ran down her body when his stubble grazed her neck. “Do you have to go to work?” she asked eagerly, not wanting to let him go, and Weston chuckled.
“Yes, baby, but I’ll return early. Will you go out with me later?” His raspy morning voice, the soft endearment, blew her mind, and she smiled happily.
“Yes, of course, I will. I thought you’d never ask me out!” she said with an eye roll, and Weston chuckled.
“I’m dying to take you out, don’t you get it? But I’ll do this the conventional way ‘coz you’re precious to me and I want to give you the best experience of your life.” Isabella nodded, feeling overwhelmed by his admission. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his mouth. He groaned and instantly pulled her close for another mind-blowing kiss like the one last night. With his hard arousal grinding against her, the kiss was more arousing than before. It made her feel a strange wetness down there, a throbbing she had never felt before. With a groan, Weston suddenly pulled away, stopping the passion from mounting to its climax. Isabella looked confused by his abrupt behavior. Did he not want her at all? He kept controlling himself even after she gave him permission to go ahead. She wanted all of him, but did he want everything with her?
“Don’t you want me, Weston, as much as I do?” she asked, looking away with a disappointed look on her face. Weston placed a finger under her chin and compelled her to look at him.
“Look at me, Isabella,” he insisted, his eyes holding her gaze. “I want you more than you can ever imagine, but we’ve waited for this for so long. I want to make memories with you. Do you really want our first time to be rushed?” he explained and Isabella shook her head. “Let us first announce our relationship first to our parents. This time, I want to do everything right. I don’t want to have a secret affair with you, Isabella. What we share is forever and I want to give our relationship a name. Do you trust me and my love for you?” Isabella nodded, overwhelmed by his admission. Having waited for so long for him, surely she could wait a few days to see what he planned for her!
“Yes, I trust you, Weston,” she admitted, and he smiled with relief.
“Then let me get ready for work. Can you make me a delicious breakfast so that I can stop dreaming of eating you up the entire day?” he said with a wink, releasing her. Isabella grinned, her eyes twinkling impishly.
“I’ll make you a bland breakfast so that all you can think of is me.” She laughed, getting up and walking towards the en-suite. Weston smiled, his heart doing a somersault with excitement, and went to his room to shower and get ready for work. Isabella’s presence in his life made him alive again and didn’t want to go, but he had to deliver an important project and it couldn’t wait. Maybe he will start his own software development company one day!
Isabella went downstairs to see Hudson feeding the cranky twins while Sophia was in the laundry room. Their mom and dad were sitting sipping their green tea, which was their latest craze. They smiled, seeing her approaching them with a cheerful smile on her face, and immediately knew the reason behind it. Isabella laughed at a struggling Hudson.
“Struggling, Dr. Gray?” she teased, and he gave her a look.
“Come and help me, pumpkin. You’re such a horrid aunt,” he said while Isabella stuck out her tongue at him and the kids howled with laughter.
“Aunt Isa, play pease?” asked Easton, giving her a puppy dog look.
“No, she play wit me,” said Carson.
“I’ll play with the one who finishes his food first,” she said.
“That won’t do. Help me feed them,” said Hudson, struggling as the boys refused to eat.
“I’m busy, bro. I’ve got to make something delicious for Weston,” she said with an eye roll, and Hudson chuckled.
“He can survive on milk and cereal. I need you the most now so, come and help me,” he ordered but Isabella shot him a look.
“You have your wife to help you. I need to see to other people’s needs, don’t I?” she whispered into his ear with a chuckle.
“Oh, is it? So, are you and that other person together now?” he asked cheekily.
“Maybe.” She laughed, going to the kitchen. Looking around, she wondered what to make for Weston when her mom came in.
“He liked the pizza omelet that I had made last month. Why don’t you make it with your choice of toppings?” suggested her mom. Isabella’s eyes lit up, and she collected the ingredients she needed.
“Thanks, mom,” she told her appreciatively.
“So, did you two finally get to clear your misunderstandings?” asked her mom, but Isabella was a little hesitant. She didn’t know whether to tell her or wait for Weston to make an announcement. However, one look at her mom’s eager face made her open up to her. What difference did it make? They both could announce in their own way.
“Yes, mom,” she told her shyly and her mom looked relieved.
“I’m so glad, dear. You carry on. I’ll tell your dad the good news,” said her mom, walking away excitedly. Isabella knew how they had supported Weston at the Hartford house that day. Weston also had told her about his conversation with his dad and how he had given them permission to go ahead. So, with a smile on her face and a song in her heart, she prepared Weston’s favorite pizza omelet with veggies, pepperoni, and a little sprinkle of cheese. In fact, she made the same breakfast for everyone. She could hear him greet his parents outside in the dining room, so she served him food along with his coffee and carried it to the table.
Weston’s jaws dropped, seeing her with a tray of food, especially made for him. He loved the special treatment. It already made him feel like they were married already! He sat down, smiling at the attention he was receiving, noting the jealous looks he received from those whose wives didn’t get time to cook.
“Why only him? Where’s mine, pumpkin?” asked Hudson, looking haggard after the morning ordeal. Isabella smiled and walked back to the kitchen while Weston chuckled at seeing Hudson’s expression. A tired Anna Sophia came back after giving the twins a bath. It seemed like they had poured the breakfast over them rather than eating it, so giving them a bath was the only solution. While the two were fighting over a superman action figure, Anna Sophia decided to stuff something into her growling tummy.
“Being a parent is the toughest job on earth!” she complained, slumping into the chair beside her husband.
“I had the same ordeal when these two were little.” Anna Sophia nodded in understanding, and they discussed their experiences while Weston and Hudson groaned with embarrassment.
So it really was a blessing that Isabella made such a delicious breakfast for the whole family. She emerged with a tray full, and Hudson gave Weston a triumphant look. “Thanks, pumpkin. Ask anything in return for this,” said Hudson. Thankfully, the embarrassing topic ended, and they tucked into the food.
“We’re going out tonight. So don’t plan dinner as a treat,” said Weston while Hudson sputtered, choking on his food.
“We? Who? All of us?” he asked in a teasing tone. Weston gave him a look while Anna Sophia smiled.
“Obviously not with you,” he muttered under his breath. Isabella sat quietly, wanting to hide somewhere.
“Then who? Mom and dad?” continued Hudson, with an amused look on his face.
“No, only me and Isabella,” said Weston, his cheek coloring a little.
“Ah, so they at last start dating!” exclaimed Hudson.
“Yeah, so?” asked Weston with a shrug. Everyone looked happy. It seemed like an official announcement already. Weston looked relieved after that conversation. After breakfast, he walked up the staircase to his room.
“Isabella, can you help me fix my tie? I have a presentation today,” he shouted out. Isabella hurried upstairs with her cheeks flushed crimson since everyone heard him. Her mom looked like the happiest mother on earth seeing them finally together.
Isabella peered into his room and saw him struggling with a tie in front of his dresser. “Come and help me,” he said, glancing at her helplessly.
Isabella went up to him with a shy smile on her face. “I’ve never fixed a tie before, Weston." Too embarrassed at her inability, she couldn't meet his gaze.
“That’s okay. I’ll fix it myself,” he waved her off, making her gape at him.
“Oh, don’t you need help with it?” she asked with a confused look on her face. Weston shook his head. His arm coiled around her waist and he pulled her into his arms.
“No. I just wanted to thank you for the delicious breakfast. I’ll still think about you the whole day,” he said earnestly. “Be ready for me when I return, hmm?” Isabella nodded, her cheeks flushing with color at the thought of going out with him on a date.
“Now give me a kiss?” he asked her softly. Isabella nodded and leaned towards his mouth, giving him a peck, but he groaned and claimed her lips gently, probing and parting them expertly before plunging his tongue into her mouth. Although gentle, his kiss was too demanding, and finally, Isabella gave in and kissed him back. He released her and rested his forehead against hers. With their eyes closed, they tried to steady their erratic breathing.
“Will you be my girlfriend, Isabella?” he asked softly.
“Yes, Weston, I’d love to,” she said with her heart racing with excitement. This was what she had been wanting for ages!
