Chapter 213 Book 5: Finally Together!

Chapter 213 Book 5: Finally Together!
Isabella pulled his face closer and latched her lips onto his. Unable to contain himself, Weston immediately took over, his whole body burning with a need so intense that it made a tremor course up her body. Burnt by the touch of his heated lips on hers, a breathy moan escaped her when his arm coiled around her waist and pulled her flush against his hard torso. With his other hand tangled in her hair, he dominated the kiss, parting her lips and plunging his tongue deep inside.
The kiss turned intense, making Isabella throw her arms around his neck, clinging to him, surrendering herself completely. She was his even after all these years and this was exactly what she had always wanted, to belong to him completely. Weston’s whole body was overcome with raw sentiments that had suddenly come alive, and he slowly backed her against the nearest wall. With his mouth fused with hers, he pressed her body up against the wall and fisting her hair with his fingers; he tilted her face up to meet his passionate kiss. He kissed her with an intense need that took Isabella’s breath away in no time. His hot tongue plunged deeper into her parted mouth and burned her tongue with his own. Tasting every recess of her mouth with a burning need to get more of her, Weston hoisted her effortlessly off the ground, supporting her with his muscular arms. The kiss turned more intense as both of them clung to one another, not getting enough of each other.
His arms picked her up with ease, wrapping her legs around his torso as he carried her towards the bed, his lips still fused with hers. It seemed as if both didn’t wish to let go. He sat down on the edge of the bed and pulled her onto his lap, straddling him. Years of pent-up feeling, years of loving each other, suddenly found a vent and Isabella matched his passion with hers, kissing him back with equal fervor. His kiss turned more hungry, almost demanding, as if wanting more from her. She was willing to give herself completely to him. A moan escaped her mouth, and he swallowed it up, satisfied at last. He released her to allow her to breathe while gently sucking her bottom lip as if he couldn’t get enough.
“I love you, Weston. I love you so much that I don’t have words to express it,” she whispered when he finally broke the kiss and pulled away with both breathing erratically.
“I can feel it, Isabella,” he answered, peppering her jawline, her earlobe, her neck, and forehead with soft pecks. “I missed you so much,” he whispered, gently laying her on the bed and getting up to lock the door while Isabella waited with anticipation. Will he make love to her? She wanted him to. They had waited for one another for the last ten years!
He came back to the bed and lay down beside her, lifting his hand and running his fingers up and down her baby-soft cheek. He was so glad that she still loved him, just as he loved her. Her arms went around her neck and she intertwined her fingers behind his neck, pulling his head closer. She noted the look of deep longing in his eyes, which were a shade darker than normal, yet he seemed to restrain himself.
“Go to sleep, Isabella, before I lose control,” he whispered, his face inches from hers.
“I want you to lose control and take me, Weston,” she whispered back. Weston’s eyes widened, and he gaped at her for a while, completely at a loss for words. He hadn’t expected her to ask him outright for something he thought she wasn’t ready for.
“Are you sure?” he asked hesitantly.
“I’ve never been surer. I have always wanted you, even when you were with Fiona. It would break my heart when you two would sleep with one another. I wanted it to be me and not her,” she said with a deep longing and dejection in her eyes as a teardrop fell and trickled down her cheeks. Weston’s eyes clouded, and he pulled her into his arms.
“I never made love or had sx with her, consciously, believe me, Isabella. I have loved only you all my life,” he told her in an earnest tone. Isabella stared at him with pure confusion visible in her eyes.
“I didn’t understand, Weston. She used to moan and giggle in your room,” she started, but Weston interrupted.
“While I would be inebriated and unconscious. It was an act on her part, Isabella. I just agreed to do out to dinner with her, but she spiked my drink every time. We agreed she would return to her house at night, but she might have stayed over, taking advantage of my situation. I did not know what happened when I was out. It’s only after she left that Hudson told me about her moaning and giggling at night.” Isabella looked shocked at his admission and felt deep remorse for not seeing through Fiona’s act. She should have trusted Weston more.
“My God! Why didn’t you tell me before?” she asked with concern.
“You would never have believed me, Isabella,” he said with a sad smile. Isabella nodded with understanding. It was true. They were young, immature, temperamental, and always upset with one another. The intensity of their feelings for one another confused them and they were always at each other’s throats rather than realizing it. Now, life had taught them the meaning of love. They had loved and lost one another for a long time and realized the hard truth, the difficult way. The truth was, they were meant for one another. Even when they were apart, they loved one another more than they loved themselves. They could spend a lifetime loving and blessing one another, although they were apart. Love didn’t always involve fulfillment. It could mean sacrifice, too. Sacrificing for the one you love.
“I believe you, Weston. Tell me everything about how it all started,” she whispered, cupping his chin to make him face her. She wanted to listen to his side of the story. As they lay in the sanctity of each other’s arms, he told her everything, how he had just agreed to Fiona’s offer, wanting to only flirt a little with her. While she wanted to see where things went from there, Weston just wanted to make Isabella jealous. He told her how he did not know about the rumors that she was spreading about the alleged dates and vacations that they went to.
“Weren’t you dating her, then?” asked Isabella with wide eyes, and Weston shook his head sadly, making her see things from a different perspective now.
“I forced myself to kiss her just to make you jealous, but that’s all I did with her. Then, when it wasn’t having any effect on you, I wanted to come home to make you jealous. I asked her if she would accompany me and she agreed,” he sighed, knowing what a mistake he had committed in his immaturity.
“But she had other plans and deliberately tried to create a misunderstanding between you and me. She wouldn’t have succeeded if we were mature enough to see through her and clarified with one another.” He told her everything that happened in New York and Fiona’s dad’s role in it.
“Oh, my God! You didn’t go out on a date with her that night, as Francesca told me?” Isabella gasped in shock, as the parts of the jigsaw puzzle started fitting in finally. She felt remorse for escaping instead of confronting Weston to get her answers. If only she had known. Weston shook his head sadly.
“I went to the park nearby to break it up with her, but she tried to involve her dad in this. So I decided that the next day at lunch, I would clear up everything and announce our relationship to our parents.” Isabella smiled sadly, remembering the fateful day which was etched in her mind forever.
“But you received a shock when uncle George announced your wedding with Fiona instead,” said Isabella, finally understanding it all. Weston nodded, remembering how his mom believed in him and stood up for him.
“But the biggest shock was when, after breaking up with her in front of everyone, I finally realized that you had left. I didn’t give up hope of finding you, Isabella. After Hud’s wedding, that night dad and I flew to London. We hired a PI and searched for you everywhere in London. Then your uncle told us you had left, and we were shattered. There was no other option left than returning home without you. I found your diary and then lost my senses. I had that accident which changed my life forever, crippling me for life, scarring my body and face,” he sighed, but Isabella pulled him closer to her.
“I caused it all. Maybe if I confronted you that day instead of escaping, we would have been married by now. I’m sorry, Weston,” she said sincerely, kissing his eyes, and his nose, showering his face with small loving pecks.
“No, Isabella. It was destiny, but I’m glad that I’m alive to see this day. I had given up all hopes of you, but now with you in my arms, I can’t thank God enough. Despite everything, I prayed for you wholeheartedly.”
“Yes, I’m thankful for that too,” she said, closing her eyes briefly to say a silent prayer of thanks to the Lord Almighty. It was indeed because of him that they were united after all the upheavals in life.
“Tell me the truth Isabella, why did you come home suddenly after all these years?” asked Weston curiously. He had to know the truth. The questions playing havoc in his head needed answers.
“I saw Fiona’s wedding pictures and realized that you two weren’t married after all. It gave me hope maybe you were still waiting for me,” she said, with eyes shining with love. “Then I read Arianna’s message to me that dad was unwell,” said Isabella truthfully.
“If you wouldn’t have seen Fiona’s wedding pictures, would you have returned?” asked Weston curiously.
“I would have come back and then, after ensuring that dad was better, I would have returned to LA,” said Isabella, holding his gaze.
“Without meeting me?” asked Weston, realizing that it was actually for him she had returned forever.
“Yes,” she answered.
“Then I’m thankful to Fiona that she got married at the right time. I got you back in my life because of her!” he grinned and pulled her close, kissing her forehead.
“Go to sleep, my love. We can talk tomorrow. It’s already 2 o’clock in the morning,” he reminded her.
“Oh, good night, Weston,” she whispered. They cuddled in each other’s arms and dozed off peacefully.
