Brenda gets insulted
Brenda couldn't stop with the angry words as they went down to get some extra things which are lacking in the house. Leticia was staring at her as though she had been stroked by an evil spirit.
"Brenda, what's going on? Why do you seem so mad?" She asked but Brenda looked at her, she won't know what to answer her friend. Wiping the tears that were already running down her eyes, she just told Leticia that they should get what they came for and head back home.
Yeah, that was weird because the Brenda that she knows wasn't moody and that was something she didn't like. Not knowing how to console her friend again, all she did was to hold her hand and to tell her that she was going to buy her favorite candy when they arrive at the shop. That made Brenda to smile but Leticia knew deep down that it was not enough.
"I can see that your little neighbor, wasn't so happy to see us together. So sorry for her cuz you I know will never date someone like her. she has no class."
Cherry said in a mockery manner, but Leo asked her to leave her house immediately, he made sure that she understands that she was not welcomed over there anymore and the next time she comes to his house, he was going to have security throw her out like the garbage that she is.
Those words were hurtful to her and she ain't take them lightly. Her life was filled with so much sorrow and loneliness, ever since Leo broke up with her but again, she thought that, since she was the sassy type, she could make her way into his heart easily, but she was wrong.
Leo couldn't be moved by her little show of desperation some moments ago inside his house which only means that he doesn't have any feelings for her anymore.
Rowan was on his bed after his shower and with a smile, he thought back to the happy moment that he had spent with Leticia on the beach. It was so real and she was so sweet. Being with her, his sorrows were mere memories, and nothing more made sense to him. He couldn't get the fact that she was so attached to little Tessa and she couldn't say a line without mentioning her name.
If one didn't know better, they will say that she is Tessa's biological mother.
"Oh my goodness, life has a way of playing tricks with me. How do I contain my fondness for her now? I just want to hold her in my arms, squeeze her and make the most of life with her."
Rowan being alone in his room, he felt like he was in some kind of fantasy and he needed to take action. But again, another thought, made him to stop for a moment as he wondered what could be the situation if he does what his mind was telling to him to do.
Closing his, he rolled to the other side of the bed with the hopes of finding some sleep. But each time he closed his eyes, the only thing he saw was Leticia laughing with him and her beauty was out of the world.
Brenda and Leticia were coming back and just as they were about to take the lifter, Cherry was coming out of it. The moment she caught a glimpse of Brenda, the witch began to laugh out as though she had seen a crazy person or a beggar.
Brenda made an effort to ignore her, but it didn't work because Cherry was prepared to give her a piece of her mind. She blocked Brenda's way and the next thing she listened to was Cherry telling her to her face that, she was just from having a good moment with Leo and his cock was something she had never been able to get off her mind.
Leticia stood there looking at Cherry and for a second, she felt as though the young lady had gone bunkers and she had to step in and ask what she was doing and who asked her for such disgusting details.
Brenda was actually holding up her anger and looking at the bitch who was standing before her with her face pierced from every corner, she didn't want any scandal after the one Frank had caused the other day for her.
"Lady, I have nothing to do with Leo your boyfriend or fiance or whatever you call him. Just because you met me at his house doesn't mean that we have anything going on, okay?" Brenda spoke out hoping that it will dissolve the matter, but she was wrong. The devil was venting on dragging her that night whereas she wasn't ready for a fight.
Leticia saw that Cherry wasn't in for a peaceful talk about whatever could be the matter, so she told Brenda to get onto the elevator for them to leave but Cherry wanting to break her some more, she released one last bomb and it exploded hard on her face.
"Well if it might interest you to know, Leo never gets serious with any of the women that he flirts with. So, be careful with your cookie hun, better be wise."
Tears had dropped up in Brenda's eyes and she couldn't believe what she was just from listening to. Feeling as though her heart was going to fall out, she tightened her fists, but her anger was held back faster than she could imagine when Leticia was the one who responded to Cherry asking what her problem was.
"Do you think it's something to be proud about when you sleep with a man? who cares by the way? If you want fuck with even on the street okay, we don't give a fuck about it."
Leticia was so mad at Cherry's immaturity that she was planning to smack her face but instead, she entered into the elevator and pressed on their floor number. With the sadness in Brenda's eyes, she consoled her friend telling her that she was better than any other lady she had ever seen before.
