"Yes but she's not in our circle anymore after what she did to Hunter. Justified or not cheating is not okay especially with the younger brother. She even went as far as to marry him in the exact date she was to marry Hunter forcing us to be in her wedding party. Honestly were it not for the fact that Hunter begged us to do it, I would have gladly left her to suffer filling those gaps with random people."Yvonne said clearly getting worked up.

Their loyalty to Hunter was incredible making me a little jealous that I didn't have friends like that. In true sense as much as I was saying that they were my friends, they would always be loyal to Hunter first before me.

No one could fault her for having such ideals as she was entitled to her feelings.

"Wait, when did you hear Veronica's side of the story?"June asked.

"A couple of weeks ago Hunter and I hosted them and the parents at his mansion in Nyari."I responded.

Parental approval was a big deal so the fact that Hunter's parents gave me the green light relieved a huge burden from my shoulders.

Yvonne parked the car outside the salon and we all got out letting Evelyn lead us inside. The place was very chic and high class decorated in a soft pink and plain white. Evelyn confirmed our appointments at the reception as the rest of us waited.

"And we're set. Massages of all types are are available plus waxing. You can also get your hair and nails done."Evelyn announced.

It was abuzz for a while as everyone decided on what to do. I smiled having decided on what color to get for my nails. What my man wanted he got.

After arguing for a good ten minutes which clothing store was best the girls finally did a coin flip and we ended up going to Sarai Afrique Fashion House.

After lots of browsing I got a couple of pant and skirts suits that I loved.

The lingerie there was enough to make me blush from how sheer it was. Sure I wore a thong but that was a one time thing. I'd never had a matching set of anything but this was a good time as any to start.

We kept looking and after rejecting ten more pieces I finally found one that called out to me. I picked it out in red because I knew Hunter low key loved that color.

I already had what I needed so I helped Yvonne with the rest of her shopping before we checked out. I used the card Hunter had given me and as guilty as I felt doing it, there was also a feeling of accomplishment that came with it. It wasn't something I would do often or get used to but I wouldn't mind getting spoilt every once in a while.

"Today was awesome, we should do it more often."Louise declared as she drove us all home.

"I completely agree, I love my husband and kids but sometimes I need to unwind with my ladies. Thank you for today guys."Yvonne replied.

It felt good belonging to a group of friends that genuinely cared about me. As long as Hunter and I stayed together, I could rely on their friendship.

I was dropped off after June since we lived fairly close together.

I watched them driving off before walking into the building. The guard at the gate was already familiar with me so I didn't need to check in with him anymore.

I let myself into the apartment and it was just like I'd left it meaning Hunter wasn't in yet.
