"I get it, you are his father and you should understand the situation he is in, right now," Tears streamed down his face and he felt more furious at how stupid he appeared to his father. "He is married, yet, you want me to be his fated mate. Isn't that cruel? It's like I came into his life to ravage everything for him, do you understand how that feels for him, he's hurt and despises the fact that he had a mate, that's why he wanted me to disappear and it was better that way because I don't want to ruin a perfect family and…"
"You are not damaging a perfect family, his fate had already been decided that he was going to have a mate and he had to accept that or else, the both of you will rot away and it will still be tarnished, destroying a lot of lives. The only thing will be that he will be able to save our clan from destruction and save his family as well. So, you are not ruining anything, you are helping him and saving everyone's life…"
"The priestess told me about the chosen one,' he broke in. "How am I the chosen one, when I'm from another pack? I'm from the Storm Pack, wouldn't the clan know that I'm from another clan. Will they agree to let someone else, who doesn't belong to them, nurture and increase their strength, knowing where their secret is coming from?" Liam pointed out, thinking that should also put him off his back and Richard even had a lot of opinions about the subject but he hadn't decided on how he was going to solve that issue yet. It probably might be easy, it might not be easy for him but he just has to try his best and convince them.
Furthermore, the most important thing right now is for Adolph to accept him as his mate and then, they will both move on to the next step and know the next decision to take.
He turned towards the priestess, who nodded and began. "I had to tell him, since he knew I was a priestess and he also wanted to know his future, so, I had to tell him but I kind of, left out the part about Adolph being married because I wanted you to tell him yourself, my lord." She elaborated and gave a little bow. Richard sighed and almost muttered at how busybody she was, but she did the right thing anyway.
"No problem about that. I'm glad you explained a few things to him.' He then turned towards Liam. "We've been looking for you for hundreds of years, the clan wouldn't want to reject you that easily. Things might get a bit difficult for you, but I can assure you that everything will be fine with you."
"Mr Richard, I can't…"
"Call me father,' he broke in.
"But, we just met a while ago and you don't even know me that much…"
"You are going to become my son in law soon, Liam. I'm not going to let you suffer, Liam. Come with me, once my son comes back from the war and we will all discuss it between ourselves. So, in the meantime, I will advise you to keep a low profile and the priestess will guide and protect you with her powers. Can you still control your werewolf form,' he inquired and Liam was not surprised anymore that he knew about him since the priestess had figured it out herself without even telling him about it.
"Not that much! I'm trying my best to control it once more when I gain my strength but I don't want to ruin a family with my…"
"If you really don't want to ruin a perfect family and you value lives the way you sound in your tone, then, save their lives and after that, will we decide our next step by then?' He concluded and Liam looked at the priestess once more and looked away from the both of them. He didn't want to do this, he felt even more guilty about it and just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. He was fucking tired and weary of everything.
"I will leave you alone for some time but just know one thing, you are our only hope now and if we end up creating delays in this, it will backfire on us and ruin lives and I'm sure that you wouldn't want that at all. I will be leaving?" He said and calmly got up from the stool. "Take your time, Liam." He said and left the Priestess' quarters. Liam got up and went to the room, he was assigned to stay, shutting the door and crying so bitterly, he was losing hope in himself, he didn't want to live anymore, he had no one to live for, what was the existence of him living on this earth.
He had lost everyone who had been with him and betrayed him.
Damn. He was tired.
Richard had to wait for Adolph to be back, so they could discuss specific things and since he had to decide to hide the fact from him that he had a mate because he didn't want him to force him to be with Liam.
So, what was the use for him, hiding it from him, since it was going to affect him and he was still going to know about it? Luckily, the priestess secretly told him about it and it was now left for him to make a decision, once he was back with his wife.

Richard had a lot of things running through his mind, while sitting on the bed, he stared at the poor Omega who was sleeping beside him and sighed for the fifth time.
An hour had flown, Lupita came to the ward with sweat all over her face, hurriedly went to Richard, glaring at her as soon as he saw her and Lupita was perplexed for a second on why her father in law was looking at her that way, what did she do to deserve such a look from her husband's father.
What was going on? What did she do wrong?
"Father,' she stood almost in front of him, while she wiped off the sweat from her face with her napkin. "I'm sorry for being late, I was training some warriors and helping Adolph in accommodating some visitors so I had to quickly clean up before coming." She explained and dropped down her bag. "This is some of the food that I brought for Adolph…" she trailed off when she saw a snow wolf behind Richard. "This is not Adolph, he is brown in color…" she paused and sniffed for seconds and was a bit surprised and wondered why Richard was with another wolf when he was supposed to be with Adolph and his scent was magnificent, which means he was an Omega.
What was Richard doing with an Omega?
"Yes, he is not Adolph.' He answered. "You are looking at someone else."
"Oh, I see. Who is he, because from what I can tell he is not from our clan right?"
"Yes, he is not from our clan but a different one."
"I see,' she nodded and got closer to Liam, smiling and exclaiming. "Wow! He is so pretty, just like a white husky."
'Pretty and also had blue eyes but he is not a husky.' He countered as he corrected.
"Yeah, he is a wolf and not a husky but he is just so glamorous that I want to keep him." She said delightedly and touched his fluffy hair with her eyes and her voice beaming with excitement. "Is he hurt?" She worriedly asked.
"Yes, he is hurt." Richard reluctantly answered and not even taking a glance at her.
"Oh, my goodness. What happened to him, I hope he is going to be okay?"
"He is going to be okay, once your husband, my son agrees to accept him, then he will be fine."
"Accept him.' Lupita got confused. "I don't understand, did Adolph hurt him in any way, is he in the same ward, so, I can go talk to him and knock some senses into him for hurting him. He is so cute and shouldn't be taken lightly."
"He is dying,' Richard blurted.
"Dying? What? How come? What happened to him, isn't there a way to save him? What did Adolph do to him that made you say he was dying?" Lupita, asking a bunch of questions at once, kind of, amazed Richard
"You are the Luna of the pack, you couldn't provide the power that the pack needed the most which means you were the Luna of the pack but you were not the chosen one." He said and glanced at Lupita who moved away from Liam and looked at her feet.
"No matter, how hard we tried, the priestess said you were not the chosen one of the pack, that's why we've been trying out, our best not to let out our secret outside the pack, because if it does, we will all be doomed and slaughtered, burnt with our heads hanging on a pole?" He firmly said and looked at Lupita once again. "We have found the chosen one?"
"What!! Lupita exclaimed and almost fell to her knees in shock. "How…How come?" She couldn't believe this, the chosen one was found. She thought he could be found in a couple of hundred years since he hadn't been found since that time. Why did he have to appear now?
"I know you didn't expect that, Lupita. The chosen one is the one behind me in his wolf form right now, which you were admiring a moment ago.'

"But…but, he is an Omega."
"Yes, we know that already. He is the one that will save us from our destruction and he is also your husband's fated mate?" He revealed.
"What!! She silently muttered in panic and hysterically laughed a bit. "I'm not…not hearing you correctly right?"
"Yes, you are hearing me very well,' Richard countered.
"That, he is my husband's, fated mate." She almost screamed at him.
"Yes, he is and your husband knows it too."
"He is my husband's, fated mate. I can't believe this."
