UNBELIEVABLE(PART TWO)
"What!! Lupita exclaimed and almost fell to her knees in shock. "How…How come?" She couldn't believe this, the chosen one was found. She thought he could be found in a couple of hundred years since he hadn't been found since that time. Why did he have to appear now?
"I know you didn't expect that, Lupita. The chosen one is the one behind me in his wolf form right now, which you were admiring a moment ago.'
What!!
"But…but, he is an Omega."
"Yes, we know that already. He is the one that will save us from our destruction and he is also your husband's fated mate?" He revealed.
"What!! She silently muttered in panic and hysterically laughed a bit. "I'm not…not hearing you correctly right?"
"Yes, you are hearing me very well,' Richard countered with a solemn expression.
"That, he is my husband's, fated mate." She almost screamed at him.
"Yes, he is and your husband knows it too."
"He is my husband's, fated mate. I can't believe this," she uttered. "How is that even possible, fated mates don't exist nowadays, this is the 20th century, father. How is that possible?"
"You don't know that fated mates exist and you call yourself a Luna.' Richard stood up from the bed. "I hope you've read the historical stories about fated mates and how they can never ever break their bond once they see each other and become one by mating with each other. This is the 20th century, fated mates still exist, the only difference is that they are rampant but they don't show themselves because of the society we live in and your husband is one of them now. Convince him to accept him, to save the clan and everyone else unless you want to attend his funeral and trust me if anything ever happens to my son, I will never forgive the likes of you. My son's life is at stake, make him accept him as his mate if you actually love him like you claim you are to him." Richard furiously said and turned towards the priestess. "Bring him to me, immediately and use your powers to heal him. I can count on you, right?"
"Yes, my lord.' She bowed.
"Good.' Richard muttered and glanced at Lupita once more and walked out of the ward.
Lupita still didn't want to believe this and ran to the priestess and held her hands. "Tell me, it's not true,' her eyes welled up and began streaming down her face, she quickly knelt down in front of the priestess. "Tell me, it's not true, priestess. Tell me that it's not true, that this is all a dream, please tell me, that my husband is not going to leave me after everything we've been through together,' she trembled and cried out loud. "Please tell me, I'm begging you, I love my husband so much, please tell me that he isn't going to leave me?" She was crying and the priestess felt sorry for her, yet she looked away from her and sighed.
"There's no need to cry over spilled milk, I didn't speculate this either when I found out about it…"
"I don't want to believe this,' she disagreed. "No, no, no, I don't believe this,' she got up from the floor. "This is all a prank, right? You guys wanted to know if I truly love my husband, that's why you are doing this right."
The priestess went mute.
Lupita laughed with tears in her eyes. "It's not true, right? I will go ask my husband, I don't believe you,' she brushed past the priestess and sprinted towards Adolph's ward and burst the door open, seeing her father in law, the doctor and Adolph were awake, still laying on the bed and he seemed so pale with black bags under his eyes and as soon as he saw his wife, he tried to get up, the doctor instantly helped him and put a huge pillow behind him to rest his back on and smiled at him.
"Don't move too much, you still need a lot of rest,' the doctor said and Adolph nodded, facing his wife.
"Hi, sweetheart…"
"Is it true,' her eyes were welling up as she took a step toward her husband. "Tell me, that this is a prank, tell me that I'm not dreaming, Adolph."
"Why is your face like that,' he inquired. "What are you talking about, love?" Why was she calling him by his name? There was one thing occurring, something had happened and it involved him, that's why whenever she wants to say something serious, she calls him by his name and not the sweet names, she usually calls him with.
"Is it true, Adolph,' she wiped away the tears that were running down her face. "Why are you crying, tell me what's going on?' He asked worriedly.
"Is it true?" She asked again.
"I don't get it, what are you saying? Is it true, what? You are confusing me." This was starting to get complicated, did she find out the truth about…
"That, you have a fated mate."
Adolph's eyes widened at the thought of his wife finding out the truth, he's been hiding his secret for weeks. How did she know about it, who told her, could it be the priestess, shit, she was screwed? Adolph couldn't look straight at his wife and turned his gaze away from her. What should he tell her that it was all a lie?
No way.
He can't do that. He hated seeing her getting hurt like this, this was why, he never wanted her to know about it, this was why he hid this secret away from her in the first place.
"Love, it's just that…"
"Tell me, how long has this been going on? When did you find out about it, that the Omega is your fated mate, tell me? I want to know when all this started and to what extent you are getting sick." She shouted. "You've been portraying strangely for weeks and no matter how I asked you, you always say that there was nothing wrong with you and that you were completely fine and that I shouldn't worry about you. So, tell me when did all this start?'
"Lupita,' he sadly uttered and faced her. "I never cheated on you, I never did, because I love you.' He swallowed and began. "I found out he was my fated mate on the day I fainted when Melvin brought me to the mansion…"
"Why did you faint on that day and how did you guys meet? I want to know every detail.' She stated.
Shit! How should he start?
"Umm…I went to get something from the boutique that day and I ordered some few stuff but it wasn't brought to me and so, I decided to go get it myself and after getting it and going back to my car with my bodyguards, all of a sudden, I saw a drenched boy in front of me. He was soaked from his head to his toe, walking like a dead zombie, he was so white and that got me worried for a second," he didn't want to say this and he had to tell that he was walking like a zombie but deep down, seeing him in the rain on that day, turned him on. That was surprising, even though he was a man, how could he have turned him on so much and he was so erotic, sexy and hot, he almost mistook him for a girl. He wanted to take him, he wanted to hold him right there and tell him that everything was going to be alright and that he was going to guide and protect him from any harm. He wanted to own him, mark him, claim him as his husband, yet, he had to force himself to look away from him until that scent hit his nose. It was like he was calling out to him, not to let go, not to look away from him. That force, drive, his hormones and his rut took over him and without thinking of what he was doing, he grabbed him and kissed him so passionately.
"You are mine! I don't want to ever leave you." He remembered, he had said those words to him, to the extent of even touching his butt and man, he wish he could take him and fuck the shit out of his round ass. He could still remember, he said other few words too, but although he couldn't remember those words he had said to him, why they were kissing and fuck, it was so intense, that he wanted to release right away and the kiss felt amazing, he disdains to admit.
For fuck sake, he's been married for years and not a bachelor or rather a teenage boy anymore. Those years had passed and he was now a father and a married man, that's why he would never cheat on his wife and he loved her so much to even cheat on her.
"And, I…I…I…I…we both…both…kissed and Melvin had to knock out to keep me at my senses…" He went on to explain everything that happened but left out the part, that he has always desired him and wanted him since then and how he had always wanted to accept him but he kept fighting back, so he wouldn't hurt anyone and after hearing the explanation of his story, how he had been taking drugs to recover from his illness, but it kept getting worse each day, he wakes up. Lupita fell to her knees and cried so bitterly, Adolph wanted to go console her but the doctor told him that he can not move and that he should stay where he is, yet Adolph was worried.
"Why couldn't you tell me that you were dying,' she questioned and got up from the floor and went to her husband, slightly moving him away from his pillow and shifting the edge of the hospital gown away from his neck to look at what was in his back and Adolph shut his eyes and didn't want to see her reaction. She couldn't look at it anymore and moved away from him. Not because she was afraid of him, but because she was scared of his life, their life, was falling apart and getting ruined. Why couldn't she just be happy with someone she loves, why does this fated mate thing have to appear in her own time.
