REVEALING THE TRUTH.

Richard was deeply uncertain of his son, if anything should happen to him, his mother will curse him to death for allowing anything to happen to their son, instead of taking responsibility for his actions. It was time to make his decision. "Call his wife, Lupita,' he boldly said as he frowned his eyebrows and sat down next to Liam. "I will not lose my son over her, call her here this instant.' He furiously said. "My son's life is at stake and I would not lose my son over her, call her here. If anything should happen to my son, she will face my wrath."

The priestess bowed down before him. "I will bring her over immediately, my lord.' She obeyed as she got up and left out of sight, immediately, shutting the door behind her.

Richard sadly sighed and twirled his head.

Why didn't he take the next action quicker? Why did he have to let this issue come to this, he thought.

FLASHBACK.

Before Adolph left for war, the priestess had told him about his mate and how he refuted to him, including how he was the chosen one, that's what sprint the Alpha into taking action and letting the priestess take care of him, while he was busy and waiting for his son to come back home.

He opened the door and entered inside the priestess's home which was filled with all sorts If ritual elements and light designers red curtains hanging all over the place with the breeze flowing over them as he walked by, shoving them out of his face with his hand and saw Liam sitting on a stool with his hands folded and resting on the table, having this sad expression on his face and quickly lookup, as soon as he saw him. Richard was surprised at how beautiful he was and almost mistook him for someone else.

So, this was the Omega. He was so pretty and was almost like a girl.

Liam got up and politely greeted him with the priestess arriving in front of him and also joined in, welcoming the Alpha too.

"You must be Liam Huxley from the Storm Pack, I see.' He said and he smiled at Liam.

"Umm…Do I know you somewhere or do you perhaps know my family?" Liam inquired, almost having this hope of his family sending someone over to bring him back. He hasn't seen him before either, he just received him out of respect.

How absurd. How foolish of him to even think that about them. Why will they even send someone over in the first place, when they don't even give a shit about him. Why was he this softhearted and pathetic at times like this? He had somewhat hoped they would change their minds and call him back, it seems like he was so damn wrong.

What had his life become anyway, what should he do right now to get out of this life, leaving his Omega useless and horrible, whore body of his, that always sickened him so much. He scorned himself and desired he could be someone else and become competent to be able to keep the people he wants around him and not shove him out from them. He just wanted to die, what was his existence for, if he couldn't live a good life.

Glancing up at the man, he resembled someone a lot and who he was, he thought.

"No! No, you don't know me somewhere or from anywhere I think,' he laughed. "Can I take a seat beside you,' Richard kindly requested and Liam just nodded and then, he sat down on the stool with the priestess also beside him. "My name is Richard, I'm an Alpha, the former warrior and Alpha of my pack, the fire pack, but I'm still the Alpha to be precise but my son is the leader of the clan now." He explained and rested his elbows and then, his hands on the table not taking his eyes off him. "And you, can you kindly introduce yourself."

"Umm…you already know me so…" He trailed off…

Richard chuckled and nodded. "Yes, I know but I just wanted to hear you say it though,' he admitted and Liam just stared at his hands.

"You've been here for a week and I hope the priestess has treated you right."

"Yes, she had treated me right, even though I don't know her and she said, she could help me and see me through a lot of things but before she could finish talking, I blacked out in front of her and she kindly took me in and have me treated for a week now and even though, I'm still weak. I don't know how to repay her and thank her for everything she has done for me and…once I get well, I will probably go look for some jobs and pay her back for what she has done for me…" How he wished the priestess hadn't saved him and used for something else, at least, that's what he was good for anyway.

Being used.

"You don't need to thank me, I've told you several times that I don't need anything in return for the kindness I've shown you. I didn't do this to get something out of you." She smiled as she spoke to Liam who declined to concede to her words.

"No! I can't just let it go that way, I need to find a job and at least pay you back for my kindness, please don't make me feel as if I owe you anything…"

"You are not owing me anything dear, just forget it. I did it and helped you out of kindness, not this and…"

"But, I insist…"

"If you want to pay her back, why don't you come with me, meet my son and be his mate, that way, you've repaid her for your kindness as well." He broke in.

"What!! Liam was stunned at his request.

"Yes, the man you kissed during the rain is my son and you are his mate, that I know. I heard about how he ordered you to get out of his mansion instead, you ran off yourself." He said.

Liam divulged. "Yes, I had to leave. I didn't want any further embarrassment, so I had to leave.' He sadly uttered and gave a little smile. "But, it's okay. Who will want to be with an Omega anyway."

"You said, you wanted to repay your kindness to me, be with my son." Richard requested. "I will make sure, I will get you everything you want."

Liam couldn't be more pleased as he smiled but he said something to the Alpha which shocked him. "I don't desire to live anymore, so, I don't know what you are trying to say to me?"

"I'm giving you a reason to live, Liam. I know how these fated bonds work, the more you live apart from him, the more your body begins to break and both of you will crumble. The priestess had been giving me details on how you were sick and getting dizzy too.' He sighed. How was he going to explain himself to him?

"I don't care, he doesn't want me and…"

"He is married,' Richard blurted out, Liam was baffled and looked at Richard with his eyes welling up.

"With a Luna and two children by his side, that's why he doesn't want to be with you. He doesn't hate Omegas, he just doesn't want to betray his family and leave them because of you, he loves his family so much."

No wonder, he was that way to him, that's why he never wanted him around, that's why he didn't want to accept him because he was married and he even had two kids.

What the heck? Why was his fate this cruel, why can't he just be happy? And here he thought he was single and also hated Omegas, it was because of his family. He loved his family so much to the extent he didn't want to ruin their happiness. Tears streamed down his face as he kept wiping it off, he envied him so much. He is a good man that will do anything to keep his family secure and that's the kind of man he had always wanted in his entire life and now, he belonged to someone else.

What should he say to him? He didn't desire to ruin someone else's family, that wasn't him. He wasn't Liam to damage up such a perfect lineage and be proud of it.

"Since he is married,' Liam managed to say, could his life get any worse than it already is. "Why don't we stop all this, he is married, let's leave him alone and move on. I don't want to be the cause of his family getting wrecked."

"You are not going to be the cause of that, if you don't do something, his family will be in danger as well.'

"I get it, you are his father and you should understand the situation he is in, right now," Tears streamed down his face and he felt more furious at how stupid he appeared to his father. "He is married, yet, you want me to be his fated mate. Isn't that cruel? It's like I came into his life to ravage everything for him, do you understand how that feels for him, he's hurt and despises the fact that he had a mate, that's why he wanted me to disappear and it was better that way because I don't want to ruin a perfect family and…"

"You are not damaging a perfect family, his fate had already been decided that he was going to have a mate and he had to accept that or else, the both of you will rot away and it will still be tarnished, destroying a lot of lives. The only thing will be that he will be able to save our clan from destruction and save his family as well. So, you are not ruining anything, you are helping him and saving everyone's life…"
