Chapter 6 Sel

She started reading the letter but he stopped her. He wanted to spend this night with her but she was very desperate to know what he had written for her.

In the end, both decided to read them afterwards and open the rest of the presents then only.

She was not excited for her birthday rather she was more excited spending time with him.

After sitting for 2 hours there.

It was 3 a. m in the watch and the sleep was hell gone from both of their lives.

Both were tired but didn’t wanted to waste a single second and use every second possible to spend time with each other.

Cold breeze was hitting on their cheeks and he could see that she was shivering and was feeling cold.

He got up from there and asked her to stand too.

Both went to his car and he started driving.

The whole ride was silent because both were fighting with their emotions.

Selena was thinking whether this is the last time they are meeting or life has something else for them whereas Benedict was adamant to meet her again but will she let him in this time? Are they the same like before now?

The car finally stopped and it was Selena’s home. Both stepped out of the car and reached her apartment. He was looking all around her apartment and she asked for water to which he refused.

She was going to freshen up when he called her, “Sel”

She stopped in her way and her back was facing towards him. That name. Ugh. How much they both missed listening to each others nicknames and now they’re realizing how much names they have given to each other.

“Can I sleep here at your home? I’m too tired to drive now.” He said.

She nodded in yes and went to her room.

Earlier they would never ask for permission and would treat each other’s home like it’s their own and now they have to ask for it. They both knew that they have come a long way and it would be difficult for both of them to be the same like before.

He went to other room to sleep but there was not a single site of sleep today.

Both were tossing on their beds thinking about each other.

Irritated, Selena came outside of her room and sat on the sofa and started drinking beer.

After trying for an hour or so, sleep was no where to be found and Benedict also came outside.

Seeing the scene in front of his eyes he was hell shocked.

When did she started drinking?

She never even touched any drink earlier whether everything he told it was non-alcoholic and she would always refuse. And now she is drinking beer like it’s her normal routine.

Now he was more curious to know what else has changed in these five years.

What else is she drinking?

Is she keeping her health ok?

She is one of that person who would never take care of her health.

He wanted to ask so much from her but there she is lost in her own world.
