When they reached the shore both sat and only the sound of waves can be heard.

For the first time in her life, Selena felt that sound peaceful. She felt that her each and every worry has gone.

Benedict notices her change of expressions and started saying, "Do you remember Martha?"

"Yeah, that little bitch who tried to steal my place in your life and you agreed" She taunted him and he couldn't stop smiling seeing how possessive she is still for him. "

Oh shutup, I never agreed. Forget it. Remember she used to say that nature feels peaceful. It gives joy and we used to make fun of her" He said

She didn't said anything because she also realised the same thing now.

"Do you know whenever I missed you I would come here and sit all alone talking to the waves imagining that I'm talking to you and would share my problems like you are always here listening. But the difference was only I was speaking and no one was there to correct me or guide me" His sudden words made her widen her eyes and she was definitely not expecting this.

"Atleast you knew what were your problems and what to say. I never knew what is my problem or what should I say because the person with whom I wanted to discuss left me all alone" Her words felt like a pinch in his chest.

"I never left you. I'm still here for you. For us."

"Yeah. All of a sudden. After five years"

Both were silent for few minutes when sudden realization hit him.

"I forgot" Benedict exclaimed

She replied, "What?"

"It's you birthday and I brought something for you. I forgot to give" Hearing this she burst into laughter and he couldn't understand why is she laughing.

Seeing his confused face she replied, "You didn't changed a single bit. How come you become so much successful in you life? I doubt if that's actually you or you have a twin? Mr. I forgot"

"Shut up." He exclaimed

She again burst into laughter

He hurriedly rushed to the car and brought the cake and presents that he bought for her.

Seeing the cake and the presents she couldn't stop smiling.

She cut the cake and fed each other.

While opening the presents he said that there are some that are for her previous five years birthdays that he missed.

She stopped in her way listening to this and looked at him in disbelief. Is he being serious? Seeing his calm expression she knew he is serious right now.

Opening her first present she found a bunch of letters.

How can he forget how much she loves handwritten letters. And he used to write it every month for her.

Deep in his heart he knew that one day they will meet for sure.
