Chapter 7 Remembering

He remembered the time when she promised him that he would be the first one with whom she will start drinking.

Did she broke her promise?

He was standing there watching her and was thinking about the times when they would never hide anything from each other.

Now everything seems different.

They are not the same anymore, their bond is not same anymore, everything has changed.

He was thinking how childish they were with each other and now how matured they both became.

Watching her he cannot tell what is going in her head or whether she still consider him important or not.

His thoughts were broken when she called him and said, "It's non alcoholic. Don't worry, I still remember that promise."

He was shocked hearing that, and how could he not notice that smile on that face.

He joined her and wanted to ask so much, tell her so much but thought that maybe this is not the right time. Maybe he should give her some space so that she can open up.

Both were drinking their bottles silently.

Selena broke the silence and said, "I'm 25, hashtag a milestone, what do I do with this milestone when I don't want to live, when I don't have a reason to live, when I don't have anyone with me. I'm tired of being alone."

Benedict noticed her expressions and hell she was serious and she was crying. There were tears in her eyes. Nobody knew how much she has suffered in these past years. Nobody knew how much she longed for him but he never came.

And when he came it's too late.

Selena was the person who never shared her problems with anyone but only Benedict. She gave him too much importance that she ignored everyone else around her. Her too much attention towards him left her alone in the end.

Benedict was the one who was very friendly with everyone. He always maintained a proper relationship with all the people around him. But never did he know that not having Selena around will feel like the world has stopped. Selena was everything to him and his one mistake turned their worlds upside down.

Both were thinking how their lives have changed.

Selena was depressed. Her miseries were not known to anyone not even her family. No matter she gained a lot of fame, wealth, love from everyone but she was not happy from inside. She became world famous baker and had her bakeries all around the world. Nothing ever mattered to her because the person that mattered left her.

Benedict also became world famous businessman. He also is a lyricist because Selena always adored the way he wrote. He started writing songs but every song has a special meaning hidden for her.

Both became insanely rich in their lives. Both achieved so much without having each other around. But wealth was not everything that would make them happy.

All they wanted was each other.

Now after so many years, when they are sitting together, no one knows what to speak.

Both has so much questions in their mind that they were confused what to say or what not.

Both were worried if they would say something inappropriate that would hurt the other.

In battling with their emotions, both were still caring about each other.
