Chapter 56 Thought She Was Easy to Bully

Jessica helplessly took out her phone. She really wanted to report this. However, before she could finish entering the phone number, Elena snatched the phone from Jessica's hand and threw it to the ground.

Instantly, the phone shattered into pieces.

Jessica stared in shock at her broken phone, unable to react for a while.

"Did you really think I would let you report me with your own eyes?" Elena rubbed her temple helplessly. How could the Winston family be so stupid? Are they all brain-dead?

Jessica had no words.

"I've hacked all the surveillance here. No one will believe what you say. Besides, Grandfather is on my side. Jessica, do you think you have any advantage?" Elena lowered her voice and slowly uttered these words.

Jessica was furious and had a headache. Elena was right. The surveillance had been hacked, so she had no evidence at all. In other words, no one would help her seek justice!

Jessica had never experienced such injustice before. She raised her hand and was about to slap Elena. There were no surveillance cameras here, so no one would know she had hit Elena.

Jessica raised her hand and put all her strength into slapping Elena.

Elena did not dodge. Nina was very worried when she saw this scene. "Elena, move away quickly. This woman is crazy."

A gust of wind blew, and Elena raised her hand and firmly grabbed the woman's wrist. Jessica's palm stopped about 0.6 inches away from Elena.

"You are too short-sighted," Elena sneered with a playful smile on her face. She was like an opium poppy, irresistibly captivating.

"The surveillance has been restored just now."

Jessica was being driven crazy by Elena's taunts.

Elena let out a cold laugh and then slapped Jessica again before pushing her out.

With a loud bang, Jessica fell to the ground.

"Jessica, you can pretend to be high and mighty. Even if you wear my clothes, I can let it slide. But how dare you say I'm an orphan? I will make you understand that being slapped in the face hurts more than being hit anywhere else."

As soon as Elena finished speaking, Jessica felt as if needles were pricking her face, intermittent pain. It felt like needles were poking into her pores, making her almost want to scream out in pain.

Nina saw that Elena didn't get hit and let out a sigh of relief. Then she happily ran over, "Elena, does your hand hurt? Next time, don't use your hand to hit, we can just kick."

Everyone couldn't help but think, "You're even more ruthless."

"Did anyone take pictures? Can you guys send them to me?"

Jessica pretended to cry, hoping that everyone would sympathize with her. She looked at the crowd with teary eyes, but this pitiful act didn't seem to work today.

Subconsciously, everyone turned their heads and started discussing the movie of the day.

Elena scornfully looked at Jessica, as if she were watching a clown. "Dear cousin, why don't you get up yourself? The floor is pretty clean, don't make a mess."

Upon hearing these words, everyone couldn't hold back their laughter anymore. They burst into laughter instantly.

Jessica turned red with embarrassment. This time, she was truly humiliated and had never been treated like this before.

She struggled to get up from the ground, half of her face burning with pain. She worried that she would be disfigured. Then, she glared at Elena with gritted teeth.

"Elena, we'll see about that. After I successfully marry Bryan, I won't let you off the hook."

As Jessica spoke, she retreated two steps in fear. Only when she was sure that Elena wouldn't chase her did she run off in embarrassment.

"She runs really fast," Nina exclaimed. She thought the scene just now was so satisfying!

It was the first time she witnessed Elena dealing with a scheming woman so smoothly. She found it more enjoyable than watching a movie.

Elena looked away, her face expressionless. Apparently, she was used to such situations.

"She actually still wants to marry Bryan. How absurd. She doesn't even consider Bryan's prestigious background. How could he be interested in her?"

As Nina paused in her speech, she suddenly remembered that Elena seemed to have married Bryan before.

"Elena, don't misunderstand. I mean Bryan is just a trash can."

Elena lowered her head, wiping her hands with disinfectant wipes. "It's okay, you don't have to explain. I don't care."

All her deep feelings condensed into one sentence: "I don't care."

"Miss, you were really cool just now. Can I have your phone number?"

As Elena was about to leave, a handsome boy approached her, gathering his courage to ask for her contact information.

Elena smiled and replied, "You're still young. You should focus on studying and not think about love."

Nina thought to herself, ‘That's the official version of rejection indeed.’

"Okay. When I graduate, I will definitely come find you!"

Elena just took it as a joke.

"Let's go home." Elena lazily motioned to Nina.

She needed to go home early to get some sleep, as she still had beauty routines to do.

Meanwhile, Rastlin, who had been sitting in the corner, looked admirably at Elena.

He had witnessed Elena's cool and confident act just now, and he couldn't help but fall even more in love with this kind of woman.

Rastlin took a sip of champagne and then wrote a few words on the paper.

He glanced at his assistant, "Go and find out about this name."

Elena Winston. Rastlin flicked the popcorn. This name sounded good.

Luckily, he had come to watch his own movie today. Otherwise, he wouldn't have seen the scene that surprised him so much.

Although his own movie was not good, the live show he had just watched was quite exciting.

After watching a movie, Elena discovered that she had several new messages on her phone.

She was quite surprised.

These messages were actually from Cora.

[When are you coming back? The meal has gotten cold.]

[The door is locked, don't bother coming back]

Elena laughed. Cora was really childish.

So, with a swipe, she blocked Cora.

When she arrived at her villa, she found that the door was indeed locked. But she could use facial recognition.

After she blasted the door last time, she installed a smart lock on the main entrance. This smart lock was equipped with cutting-edge technology. Others could only open the door with a key, while she just needed to stand in front of it and the door would open.

When Elena reached the door of her room, she found that her bedroom door was open and her bed was covered with clothes. She suddenly remembered that Jessica was wearing her clothes today.

It seemed that these two cousins of hers had rummaged through her wardrobe.

Elena squinted her eyes. She picked up all the clothes and threw them into the disinfection cabinet. Although she didn't have a cleanliness obsession, she just didn't like these people touching her things.

Elena looked at the time. It was getting late now. Oh well, she would deal with these people tomorrow.

She stretched lazily. She was about to go to bed when she accidentally saw that the photo she had placed on her bedside table had been cut.

It was a photo of her family of three.

Elena's aura instantly reached its peak.

She sneered.

Did these people really think she had no boundaries? They kept joking about her family.

Elena clenched her fists and walked out quickly.

With a splash, a large basin of ice water was poured all over Cora's bed.

Cora, who was still asleep, was suddenly startled. She shivered from the icy water, "It's... raining?"

When Cora opened her eyes, she saw Elena's cold face.

"What are you doing? Are you crazy!"

Cora was drenched in ice water, making her speech fragmented.

"You're awake?" Elena laughed coldly. But this smile was somewhat terrifying.

"Why are you acting insane? Why did you pour cold water on me in the middle of the night?"

Cora jumped out of bed. She cursed while being soaking wet and miserable on the bed.

Elena took out the shredded photos. There was no expression on her face as she said, "Did you cut these?"

When Cora saw the broken photos, she thought to herself, 'Damn, I forgot to destroy the shredded photos.'

She blamed it on her thoughts of Emery, to the point where she lost face with Elena. That's why she angrily cut Elena's photos.

"It's just a photo. What does it matter if I cut it?" Cora said nonchalantly. She didn't care about it at all.
