Chapter 55 Becoming Elena's New Fan

The staff member couldn't help but sigh, Bryan was indeed smart. But they dare not say it out loud.

The staff member was diligent in his duty. He wore an expression that he didn't quite understand the situation, "Maybe there's a malfunction in the cinema, so it needs some repairs."

"How is that possible? Don't you know Mr. Richter's time is precious? Can you compensate for the five minutes he's been delayed?" Jessica, wanting to deliberately catch Bryan's attention, became more and more extreme in her words.

She wanted to show off her noble identity as a wealthy young lady.

But when Bryan looked at this scene, he inexplicably felt more disgusted by her. Although they were both from the Winston family, the difference between the woman in front of him and Elena was too great.

"I invited everyone for this showing today. Ms. Winston, you don't need to make things difficult for the staff members," Bryan stood up and straightened out the slight wrinkles in his suit, "I have something to attend to, so you can watch the movie by yourself."

With a cool tone, he finished speaking and left, not giving Jessica a chance to react.

The staff member was surprised. Bryan was much better than this theatrical woman.

"Bryan!" Jessica exclaimed urgently. However, even though she was running, she couldn't keep up with the man's pace.

After Bryan got into the car, Paul handed him the ipad. "Mr. Richter, someone took photos of you and Ms. Winston while you were having dinner. It must have been arranged by her."

Bryan's expression turned cold. He said coldly, "Have the photos deleted."

Then he took out his phone and blocked Jessica without hesitation.

This woman couldn't provide him with any information about Elena.

Therefore, she had no value to him.

"Let's go back to the office."

The man closed his eyes, hoping to temporarily relieve his fatigue.

Paul sighed silently after glancing at the time. Since Bryan's divorce with Elena, he had become a workaholic again. He rarely went home now.

The huge cinema only had the two of them.

Nina was moved to tears. Elena patted her back to comfort her, "It's just movie effects, don't take it too seriously."

"Men are unreliable, I plan to stay single for the rest of my life!"

Nina concluded angrily.

Elena was speechless.

She didn't have such an extreme view. Elena still yearned for love.

Until the movie ended, Elena wiped Nina's tears with tissues.

"But I have to say, my Mr. McDreamy is really handsome." Nina calmed herself down and then said longingly.

Elena rolled her eyes. "Just now, when we were watching the movie, you said that couldn't trust men because they are unreliable. You've changed your attitude too quickly."

Nina coughed, "I thought about it again. The movie character is not the actor himself. My Mr. McDreamy is actually quite outstanding."

Nina's Mr. McDreamy was the up-and-coming young idol Rastlin. He did look good. However, he didn't suit Elena's taste, too immature.

"Okay, okay, your Mr. McDreamy is the most handsome." Elena couldn't help but laugh. "In a few days, our company is negotiating a collaboration with his agent. If there's a chance, I'll get you an autograph."

"Really! I love you so much!"

Nina got so excited that she almost jumped in place.

"Elena? What are you doing here?"

Five minutes after the second movie started, Jessica had just finished watching it. As soon as she came out, she saw Elena.

Elena smiled. She had almost forgotten that Jessica was here too.

But as she looked around, she didn't see Bryan either.

"Of course, I came to watch a movie. Did you think I came to the cinema to eat?" Elena smirked at Jessica, as if she thought Jessica was acting foolishly.

"You..." Jessica rolled her eyes in exasperation. "Besides being good at mocking others, you don't know how to do anything else."

Jessica calmed down a bit. Then she smiled arrogantly.

"Oh really? Well, I'm still better than you. You wore my clothes without my permission. Jessica, are you so poor now that you can't afford clothes?"

Elena hooked her finger and tugged at the clothes Jessica was wearing.

"This size doesn't fit you either. Do you feel comfortable in it?"

Elena sneered. The smile on her face gradually turned into indifference.

She hated it when people touched her things.

"I wear your clothes because I look up to you. You're an orphan, why do you talk so much nonsense?"

Jessica spoke without thinking, accidentally revealing her inner thoughts.

Elena's expression instantly turned ice-cold.

She raised her hand and slapped Jessica across the face.

The commotion drew attention from everyone.

"Have I been too nice to you? Do you think I am, Elena, easy to bully since I don't fight back?"

Elena was naturally tall, and her imposing presence completely overwhelmed Jessica. Moreover, her delicate face was now filled with a sense of aloofness and coldness.

Nina was also stunned by the slap.

She noticed that Elena had become cooler since her divorce. Whenever someone dared to provoke her, she would definitely fight back. Nina really liked this version of Elena.

Nina propped her chin on her hand, looking at Elena with admiration.

From now on, she would be Elena's fan!

"Elena, you've gone mad. How dare you hit me? Aren't you afraid that I will report this to the Winston family? You'll be finished."

Jessica covered her cheek, angered as she glared at the audacious woman in front of her.

At this moment, she didn't dare to fight back at all.

She couldn't even bring herself to make eye contact with Elena!

Elena sneered. Jessica dared to threaten her? She couldn't help but laugh.

In all these years, no one had dared to threaten Elena like this.

"Go ahead, then. You better call the Winston family right now and tell them how wronged you feel. Otherwise, later on, you won't have any evidence."

A smirk played on Elena's face, making her look extremely arrogant.

Even the people around couldn't help but stop and watch what would happen next.

They didn't know Elena, but when they heard her audacious words, they seemed to like her a little.

While the weak often elicited sympathy from others, for some reason, everyone couldn't help but stand on Elena's side.
