Chapter 54: Private Screening
Be With You Forever was a romantic film, so most of the audience tonight were young couples. Nina clung to Elena's arm, grinding her teeth and said, "Elena, do we have a similar feeling?"
Elena had a smile on her face as she looked at the pairs of young couples in front of her, "We are only still on the path of finding high-quality men; our future is filling with endless possibilities. "
"Right, right, let's go buy some popcorn!" Nina pulled Elena towards the concession stand.
Jessica felt both nervous and blissful. Whenever she thought about her upcoming date with Bryan, she felt as if it was all too unreal.
A sturdy figure approached, and Jessica instinctively tightened her grip on her purse.
She looked up and saw a handsome face deeply etched in her heart.
Indeed, the young men she had met at the bar earlier were nothing compared to the man before her.
Those young men were only slightly good-looking. But Bryan, as rumored, had an extremely perfect appearance, exuding an air of nobility. They were on different levels.
Jessica swallowed and quickly calmed her inner excitement.
"Mr. Richter, the movie is about to start. Let's go in first."
In fact, the movie was still ten minutes away from starting. But in the cinema, that ambiguous atmosphere was the strongest. By then, the atmosphere there would help her successfully capture his heart.
Bryan squinted his eyes. He was somewhat surprised. Why did this woman's clothes seem somewhat familiar?
The outfit was nice, but it didn't match the woman's demeanor.
The man shifted his gaze back and calmly said, "Let's talk outside."
Jessica hesitated for a moment, not understanding his meaning.
"Let's talk about Elena," Bryan's face turned slightly cold.
Jessica's complexion changed slightly, "How about we finish watching the movie first. Mr. Richter, this movie is great, it..."
"The movie won't start for another ten minutes. There are seats over there. We can wait a bit before going in."
After the man finished speaking, he took the lead and walked towards the chairs and tables.
Although Jessica was somewhat unwilling, she had no choice but to grit her teeth and follow along.
"Damn, Elena, isn't that your ex-husband?"
Nina squeezed out of the crowd with popcorn in her arms. She accidentally caught sight of Bryan not far away.
Although the movie theater was crowded, Bryan's demeanor was too outstanding. Therefore, Nina recognized him at a glance in the crowd.
Elena was momentarily stunned. She narrowed her eyes and followed Nina's line of sight.
The smile on her face froze instantly.
"The woman opposite him is still my dear cousin."
Elena casually said.
"She's even wearing my clothes."
Elena added another sentence.
Nina felt disgusted.
"I never expected Mr. Richter to have such poor taste. But if his taste were good enough, he probably wouldn't have divorced you."
In Nina's eyes, Elena was an extraordinary existence. She was perfect without any flaws.
So when they learned about Elena's divorce, they all thought Bryan was blind.
"Everyone has different tastes and preferences," Elena lowered her head and calmly summed up this sentence.
Then, she took out her phone and calmly hacked the cinema's network.
"What's going on? Is the computer broken?" exclaimed the receptionist.
However, a few seconds later, the computer returned to normal.
Elena put her phone back in her pocket. "Unfortunately, both of them watched the same movie as us."
"How did you know?" Nina blinked her eyes, asking in confusion.
Elena just smiled and didn't answer.
She had hacked into the cinema's network and checked the seats of these two.
"Let's switch to something else," Nina said, fearing that Elena would feel disgusted.
"No need," Elena smiled.
Nina was puzzled. What did she mean?
Elena walked directly towards the VIP entrance.
"I have booked this movie," Elena pointed her slender finger at the screen, at the showing time of "Be With You Forever".
"Sorry, miss, this showing is already full."
Before the staff could finish, she received a call from the head office. "Empty the audience for the showing of 'Be With You Forever', Miss Winston has booked it."
The staff member trembled and asked, "Miss, may I ask who you are..."
"Elena Winston," the girl calmly said her name.
"Give an 80% discount to those who bought tickets for this showing, I will compensate for the price difference. And in five minutes, add another showing of 'Be With You Forever'."
Elena had already arranged it just now. She added another showing of "Be With You Forever". She would bear all the losses.
The staff member nodded dumbly. This young lady is so powerful!
"Elena," Nina gave Elena a thumbs up. Elena was so domineering.
Elena raised an eyebrow. "This way, no one will bother us." Especially those two.
Nina nodded in agreement.
"You and Elena don't live together?" Bryan's face gradually cooled down.
"That's right. But I still know her very well. She has a bad temper and often gets angry for no reason. And she often bullies my other cousin."
Jessica, whenever she mentioned Elena, she would belittle her. She wished she could portray Elena as a vicious woman.
Anyway, Bryan has already divorced her. He wouldn't care about her badmouthing Elena.
Maybe he would even stand on her side to help her deal with Elena.
However, she didn't notice that the man's face was getting darker and darker.
"Anything else?" Bryan spoke coldly.
"Elena also wants to kick out my cousin's entire family. She wants to take over the Winston Group."
Jessica added angrily.
Bryan's expression turned cold. The Winston Group was originally Elena's family business. It seemed that he didn't find this woman's words very trustworthy.
"Ms. Winston, I'm very sorry. We just received notice that the movie you're about to watch is temporarily closed to the public. The next showing will start in five minutes, and we can offer you a 20% discount on your ticket. Would that be okay with you?" a staff member approached and explained politely.
When Jessica heard that the showing she had chosen was no longer available, she immediately became angry. "Who gave you the authority to arrange it like this?"
"I apologize, Ms. Winston. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused," the staff member replied.
Jessica sneered, "Do you know who is sitting beside me?"
The staff member stole a cautious glance and was stunned by the sight of the sternly handsome face.
The rumor had it that Bryan, who made money in seconds, actually came to their movie theater to watch a movie? It seemed they were truly in big trouble this time.
The staff member felt helpless. It was an order from above, and there was nothing he could do.
"Since you know him, then arrange this showing quickly," Jessica crossed her arms, looking arrogant.
But the staff member remained firm and said, "I'm sorry."
It seemed that the person who was going to clear the theater was even more formidable than Bryan.
Bryan raised his indifferent head, "Will there be someone clearing the theater?"
