Chapter 47 Termination of surgery

"I'll go over now."

Bryan hung up the phone, looking a bit displeased.

Elena faintly overheard and cautiously asked, "Is it your grandmother?"

"Yes," Bryan looked at Elena affectionately and said, "We can discuss the cooperation another day. I need to go to the hospital first."

"I'll go with you," Elena said softly.

At the Richter family, Daisy treated her the best, so she cared a lot about Daisy's condition.

Bryan didn't expect Elena to make this request.

"Okay."

Bryan drove the car very fast. Elena sat in the passenger seat, looking at Bryan's profile, feeling heavy-hearted.

Bryan rarely showed any expression, always being cold in front of her. But now he was truly afraid, after all, Daisy was the person he was closest to.

"Bryan, don't be afraid, Daisy will be fine." Elena couldn't help but comfort him. But as soon as she said it, she regretted it.

Bryan was surprised. When he turned his head and saw Elena's indifferent expression, he doubted if he had misheard.

Elena silently cursed herself in her mind, "Stupid, what are you saying?"

Fortunately, they arrived at the hospital soon.

The whole hospital was in lockdown because Daisy needed surgery.

Elena had the chance to enter the hospital following Bryan.

There were many people waiting outside the ward.

Seeing Bryan approaching, Bella hurriedly grabbed his sleeve and said, "Bryan, what should we do? The doctor said Grandma passed out and she needs surgery now!"

Bella and Daisy had a good relationship. She cried as soon as she heard about Daisy's accident.

Bryan calmly looked at Paul who was walking over and asked, "Has Rashid arrived?"

"He has already landed. I've sent someone to pick him up, he should be here soon."

Paul glanced at the time and said, "I'll go outside to wait for him now."

Bryan told the doctors, "Arrange the surgery immediately!"

The doctors hesitated because the surgery had a very high risk factor, with only a one percent chance of success.

And the person in the ward was not an ordinary person, it was Daisy!

"Regardless, this surgery must be done."

Bryan said to the doctors again.

"Dr. Rashid has arrived."

Someone shouted, and Elena looked over in the direction of the voice.

Rashid, a neurosurgeon and a star of the international research institute, he was a legend.

Bryan actually managed to get Dr. Rashid to come. Because Rashid was very arrogant, ordinary people couldn't possibly persuade him.

"Mr. Richter, I have already looked into Daisy's condition in advance, to be honest, I'm not confident about this surgery."

Rashid came to Bryan's side and said fluently.

After hesitating for a moment, Bryan made a decision, "Surgery!"

This was the only hope.

"Okay." Rashid patted his shoulder and said, "I will do my best."

The surgical lights turned on, and everyone anxiously waited outside the operating room.

Elena stood out here as someone who wasn't part of the Richter family.

She originally wanted to find a corner to lower her own presence, but she didn't expect to be seen by Bella.

"Why are you here? You're already divorced from Bryan, what are you doing here?" She walked up to Elena and questioned her.

"It's because of you that Grandma got sick. Elena, how dare you still come here? We don't welcome you!" Bella pointed at her and reprimanded loudly.

Elena didn't want to argue in the hospital. When Bella spoke loudly, many people looked over.

"Bella, shut up!" Bryan walked over and coldly said to Bella.

"Bryan, why are you standing on her side now? If it wasn't for her, Grandma wouldn't have gotten sick." Bella said angrily.

"Bella, if you say one more word, get out of the hospital." Bryan was extremely irritated now, even more angry at his sister's behavior.

Bella dared not speak anymore. She knew that if she continued to argue, Bryan would really kick her out.

"She's not in a good mood right now, saying things randomly, don't mind her." Bryan's voice sounded a little weary.

Elena softened a bit.

"I know."

Everyone's mood is not good now.

"Are you Elena?" Suddenly, a fair-skinned, beautiful woman walked over and asked in surprise.

Elena looked at her and felt that this woman in front of her had a good temperament, and it was hard to tell her actual age.

"I am Silvia." The woman smiled and explained.

Elena recalled a bit. When she liked Bryan before, she had looked through their family tree.

Bryan has an aunt named Silvia who has been living abroad. She is a talented woman and has great achievements in playing the piano.

Sure enough, her temperament was truly different.

"I didn't have a chance to attend your wedding before you got divorced from him. But Elena, you have vision, knowing that Bryan has no future, divorcing him to find someone better than him." Elena was surprised, is this aunt really so open-minded?

"Silvia Richter, the plane is ready for you, waiting outside, you can go back now." Bryan said coldly.

Silvia glared at him and said, "I am your aunt, of course I can talk to Elena about your shortcomings."

Silvia is only six years older than Bryan, so they are more like friends.

"Elena, don't mind him, let's continue. You're so beautiful, for sure many people chase after you. Tell me, what kind of person do you like?" Comparing to the nervousness of others, this aunt seemed much more indifferent.

This might be related to the environment she grew up in.

"Silvia, let's talk about this another time." Elena felt a bit embarrassed.

"Okay. Let's have dinner together and talk about finding a boyfriend another time. It's not appropriate for this occasion," Silvia said.

After all, it was her own mother lying in the hospital ward, and she was still somewhat worried.

And Bryan was very nervous, looking very upset.

At this moment, the door of the operating room suddenly opened, and a surgeon walked out from inside.

"The tumor is too close to the blood vessels, only 0.03 inches away. Dr. Rashid also lacks confidence, so he plans to terminate the surgery."
