Chapter 133 - Hauled Back to Hell
"I'm not sure. We ought to give him time to catch his breath. Jasmine focused her narrowed gaze on Azulu.
Azulu finally sat up, taking a few moments to gather his thoughts before glancing at Jack and Jasmine and remaining silent.
"Avoid leaving us hanging. What's wrong?
Jack lowered his eyes to Azulu. He needs to know what went wrong because he is already running out of patience. Azulu can't be idly glancing around without offering them something of value.
Azulu let out a loud sigh and rolled his eyes at Jack. "My village has vanished."
"What do you mean by that?" Jasmine asks as she gets into the chariot and sits next to Jack. Jasmine questioned, focusing her worried gaze on Azulu.
Jack's stare scorched Azulu's eyes as he looked up. "The devils assaulted us." He muttered in a dejected manner, as if he were going to cry.
Luckily, he could not weep as much as a ghost. Still, it sounded as though he was crying all the way from the bottom of his heart. His words appeared to come from a broken heart.Jack and Jasmine were still attempting to piece together exactly what had transpired. For them, Azulu's claim that his "village is gone" is insufficient. They had to understand what went wrong. "What does that mean to you?" Jasmine continued to stare at him as she asked.
Azulu closed his eyes and inhaled deeply. He opened his mouth to speak, staring at Jasmine with his eyes. "The Imperial Prince came to my village and said we kept a demon and her consort in our care, but we didn't tell him this even after we got his parchment saying you two were wanted. Our entire village was enveloped in a dense, black smoke before we could even comprehend what was happening. A horde of demons materialized from the eerie smoke.
Azulu raised his crossbow and stood. Climbing out, he sat on the ground, supporting the chariot while he went on. "The thick, dark smoke vanished right away, and red smoke emerged, carrying many souls away before vanishing into thin air. With a laugh, the Imperial Prince got up. I took my sword out of its sheath in rage. I aimed my crossbow and began to take aim at the demons. Despite my weapons' inability to defeat them. I killed them with my injuries. It was heartbreaking to watch my villagers vanish into thin air with red smoke. My village was destroyed by the demons, but I was still able to escape.
With haste, Jasmine ascended from the chariot. She bows down in front of Azulu. She apologized, saying, "I'm sorry about the trouble we have caused you." It's their fault that Azulu's village was thoroughly cleaned out.
"You are not to blame," Azulu said, glancing at her. The Imperial Prince claimed that because you and your consort killed his whisperers and vanquished him, he called the demons to my village and made them drag us back to hell. He therefore needed a place to vent his frustration at losing. My village was his choice.
At this Jack stood up, furious. "Back then, I should have killed him!"
"For that reason, I'm here to assist you." Azulu got up from his seat. He raised his sword and took it out of its sheath, holding his crossbow in his left hand. "To get to the Imperial Prince, I need your assistance."
The Imperial Prince asserts that he is the one in charge of the afterlife. He had to give Azulu a lesson that, even in hell, he would never forget. But things didn't go as planned when he tried to drag Azulu to hell with the other souls. Azulu fought valiantly, concealing his serene demeanor as he made his way out.
“Leave him to us. We will van…”
Jasmine started to say "vanquish," but Azulu interrupted her before she could finish. "This battle is no longer just yours. "It's my battle too," he uttered as he lowered and concealed his blade.
Jasmine was sorry for Azulu and the other deceased residents of his village. She will not permit him to engage in combat with the Imperial Prince. There's no way he can win against him.
"We hope you don't suffer any harm."
"It's not me who will suffer harm; it's the Imperial Prince."
"Hey, buddy," Jack says as he gets off the chariot. "Are you able to let us handle him?" Simply direct us to his residence, and we will go there and give him the boot.
"Without me, nobody is going anywhere. I'm fighting this too. Azulu persisted.
They have been living a happy life free from demons dragging them to hell for years. Despite his best efforts, he is unable to place the blame for Jack and Jasmine's initial appearance. He channels all of his rage toward the Imperial Prince, and Jasmine and Jack would be foolish to take that away from him.
Jack focused only on Azulu. He exhales chilly air. He questioned sharply, "Are you sure you want to do this?"
"This is my battle. You are welcome to board my chariot as we soar to his residence, but you will not deny me this battle.
Jack and Jasmine exchanged a quick look. They have a difficult choice to make. They do not, however, want the Imperial Prince to escape punishment for his actions. They do wish to inflict severe pain on him, just as he did, by calling demons to drag people into hell.
Although Jack didn't like it, they couldn't find the Imperial Prince without Azulu. "Okay," Jack replied. "But refrain from acting foolishly."
In agreement with what Jack has said, Azulu nods. He motions for Jack and Jasmine to jump in as he hops into his flying chariot, which is drawn by two white people. Grabbing the reins of the horses, Azulu exclaimed, "There's no time, get onboard let's finish what he started."
