I know he can hear me, so I answered him, “yeah, he mentioned it to me on the last call I had with him. He said he will include an inventory list for us so we can keep track of what we have and how much we have left as we use it. He said he was sending a new batch every 3 months for a year. I guess, helping them get back on their feet made us family. He wanted to keep going for 2 years but I told him that I couldn’t accept that, but he could send some twice a year. He agreed and said it wouldn’t hurt the company with your marketing help they are looking into moving to a bigger place. He said they need more freezer and fridge space. I gave them a few different relators’ info so his wife could decide which one she likes best and start looking for a new store front. I love that they have grown so much with the little bit of help we gave them.” I smile as he takes a first bite and smiles. I knew it was Kendra’s first time making French dip sandwiches and she was nervous about it. 
“Yeah, he was telling me about all of that too. He talked about it for half of our conversation earlier. That is some of what took so long with the meeting. He has everything planned for the holidays for our deliveries. The kitchen will keep things updated on the tablet so he can see what needs to be ordered. My dad is going to help them get deals on anything they need. He said he can get them good deals on the new equipment. He said he can’t thank you enough for picking them for the B&B’s meat supply. I told him it was nothing that we just like the quality of meat he has and how fresh the sea food is that comes in. I think they will grow even more than they do now after my dad helps them get the best equipment. Dad plans to invest but not where he gets shares. It is so they can just pay off the equipment he buys with a low monthly payment so they can grow at a decent speed without a crazy amount of debt. Dad is only going to have them pay half of what it cost him to buy everything. Dad said it was the best butcher shop he had seen in a long time. He loves investing in businesses that will be good for the community. Kendra did good with the tri-tip. This tastes good. Did she use your recipe?” Kane asks before taking another bite. 
“Yes, she has been using the ones for the B&B and the ones we have at home. She loves that she can practice them more with them being here. I told her they are welcome for as long as they want. I know your parents are busy and they don’t like being home alone. Not that they are completely alone, but you know what I mean. Your family has done wonderful things for the family, and I love that I can be a part of all of that. What are we doing for dinner tonight? I am craving chicken.” I say grabbing the pickles from the mini fridge. 
“I will ask Kendra. She asked if she could make dinner tonight. I will let her know that you would like chicken. Are you hungry again, love? I can get you some of the pasta you have left in the fridge.” Kane noticed I at 4 mini pickles while he was talking. I smiled while chewing and nodded yes. Some days I am super hungry and some days I am not all that hungry and just snack throughout the day. “Ok, I will go get you some real quick I need a soda anyway.” Kane says putting his plate on the table and walking into the kitchen.  
I focus on my pickles waiting for him to come back. It should only take 5 minutes to make a plate and microwave it. When I heard the microwave beep, I decided to put the pickles in the mini fridge so I could eat the vegetable spaghetti that Kendra made for lunch a couple of days ago. I wasn’t wanting meat that day, so they made meat sauce for themselves and now I have leftovers. I love pasta at all times of day, so when we have leftovers, I get excited. Kane thinks I am silly, but I can’t help it. These babies love pasta too, so I crave it like crazy. Kane walks back and hands me the plate of food that he made, and I see he put a salad on the side. He also brought some French Bread that was left. “Thank you, love this looks good.” I told him. 
“You’re welcome, I figured you were hungry. I saw your plate in the fridge from lunch. Is beef not good for your stomach today?” Kane asks as he grabs his plate from the table. 
I swallowed my first bite before answering, “No, it tasted good but made my stomach upset. I waited until Kendra left the room before putting it in the fridge. I figured she would find it later, but I didn’t want her to worry because they have another test right now, so I didn’t want to distract her with my nausea. She would feel like she had to make me something else to eat. You put snacks in the fridge, so I was eating those until you came out for lunch. I could have warmed it up, but I wasn’t ready to get up yet.” I laugh because well what else do you do when it is a pain to get up and down. I hear it will only get worse as I get closer to my due date. I can’t wait, they said I will probably deliver at the beginning of December instead of my due date on December 30th.
