Chapter 118
After everyone left, I took a shower, and we went to bed because no matter how much fun today was, it was exhausting. Kane helped Link get to bed before he took a shower and joined me in bed. He rubbed my back while we watched a movie and talked about the stuff we got today and how we don’t need anything else with everything they got us. The baby monitor system they had put into the house was the best thing I could as for. There is a video monitor in each room, so we don’t have to carry one with us. It works with an app so you can change what room needs to be monitored, or you could use the buttons on the screen on the wall to select the room you are in for where the babies are at. It was something the family came up with wanting to make the whole house a baby security system. The other bedrooms can be shut off by the monitors in the room if they would like. Link loves that he can have his on so he can keep an eye on them. I fall asleep listening to him talk about all the things we will get to do as a family.  
When I woke up the next day, I smelled breakfast being made. I know Kane or Kendra is cooking. I get up and go to the bathroom before putting on my fuzzy slippers and hoodie then head to the living room where I will spend the rest of my day. This half bed rest thing makes life a pain in the butt. I can do somethings for myself but nothing crazy so when I want to make dinner Kendra helps me so I can sit down often. Let's be honest, being as big as I am, has been making everything harder to do. Kane brings me a cup of coffee when he sees me walking to my chair. “Good morning beautiful.” He greets me, sets my cup down on the table next to me, and gives me a kiss. 
“Good morning baby. What are you making in there?” I ask after he pulls away. I smell sausage and it smells good. 
“Biscuits and gravy, I remember you saying before you fell asleep last night that you wanted some. I figured I would make some. It will be ready in a minute; Kendra and Link have already eaten. I am sure you noticed it was 10am when you got up. I figured you were going to sleep longer today after yesterday; I knew you wouldn’t be asleep for much longer, so I started breakfast 15 minutes ago. I am going to take the biscuits out and make our plates. Be right back.” Kane answered and then left the room as the timer in the kitchen goes off.  
While he is in the kitchen, I put on the show Chopped because I love watching cooking shows, which doesn’t surprise anyone. I think they come up with crazy stuff in a short amount of time. I would never do it but getting to watch others and seeing what can be done with different items that you would never think would go together is interesting. Kane came back in with our plates, and we talked back and forth about the random items they got in the baskets on the show. I swear it is like they try to pick the strangest stuff to be used in this show. After we ate, he went to do paperwork in the office while I started sewing the blankets for the babies while I watched TV. Kane had set up a mini fridge next to my chair this morning so I had drinks and could stay off my feet longer. The doctor did say the more time I spend off my feet the better for the babies, and we want them to stay in for as long as they can. 
Around noon Link and Kendra took a lunch break from school. Kendra made a French dip sandwiches. I knew I smelled something cooking but I wasn’t sure what it was. She brought me a plate, and they told me about their morning. They had tests today and will find out the scores tomorrow. Link said for PE today they were going to ride horses. I love that he gets to spend time with the horses. My dad goes with them as a guard just to keep them safe if something happened to them but today, I think they are going to be in the arena. When they went back to class, Kane came out 20 minutes later. “Sorry the meeting with the butcher took longer than it was supposed to, but he said he has so much meat for us, not for the B&B as a gift for our babies. I laughed and told him thank you. I guess his love language for family is meat products. Apparently, he and his wife consider us to be family. I called your dad, and he is going to get another deep freezer for us and put it in the basement. It was implied that we would need another one. Something about tons of different kinds of meat. Now let me make a plate and you can show me how far you have gotten.” Kane gives me a kiss and walks into the kitchen.
