It's been two years now without hearing from Ava except that one time we bumped into each other at the restaurant.
I saw Herman proposing to her and it was clear that they were already back together even though I wanted so badly to talk to her but now it's nearly impossible.
These past two years,I have been living with Alina most of the time and I think it's okay to say that me and my girl Kara are now on good terms because she finally accepted me as her dad though it wasn't an easy road for both of us.
I tried to give her my time for bonding and I'm glad it worked out pretty well.
On the other hand,me and Alina are getting along though I wouldn't say that we are back together because we are two mature people who aren't rushing anything and if things eventually work out,then that's still very okay.
I recently received an email from Ava with her resignation letter and it broke my heart because even though we weren't speaking,I was happy that she is still working at the company I opened for her because she worked so hard for her.
I never even bothered her by stepping a foot there because I knew I would have inconvenienced her in one way or the other so I kept peace since I knew she was doing a great job over there.
I tried calling her up hoping that maybe we can meet up and talk about the resignation letter but she didn't pick up and I also didn't want to look desperate even though I wanted a vivid reason why she finally came up with such a decision.
After two trials of calling on her phone without an answer I also gave up and threw my phone on the phone out of frustration.
I called Alvin,Herman's kid brother and requested him to sit in Ava's position since he was working with her from day one so he definitely knew how to run things over there.
He agreed to my request and now I got some relief because Alvin is a good boy and I believe he can do well in that position from now on.

I finally sent my resignation to Liam because I had started my small company a few months back which needed my full attention so I had to drop my responsibilities in that Company that Liam left me.
He tried calling me up but I didn't bother myself picking him up because I didn't see anything else to talk about at the moment.
I left my room to go check on Halsey but found her already asleep so I just kissed her on the cheek and moved to the living room.
“Hey Alma,do you know where Herman is?” I asked
“No ma'am,I thought he was in the bedroom with you,” she replied while diverting her focus fromhe phone and looking over at me.
“Unfortunately,he's not there because I'm from there and out here looking for her,” I replied
“Oh okay,maybe we try calling on his phone,” she suggested.
“I already did dear and it can't be reached at the moment,” I sat down on the couch next to her.
“Oh then maybe we should give it some time and try again later,” she came up with another suggestion.
“Yeah,you're right,” I leaned back with my eyes closed.
“Ma'am,can I get you something to drink or eat?” She asked me.
“No sweetie,I'm okay…thanks though,” I replied
“Okay then,” she went back to scrolling on her phone.
We sat there in silence for some time then we suddenly heard someone fidgeting with the door lock and we both focused on the door to see who it was.
The door swung open and Herman walked inside and I quickly stood up from my seat and ran up to him then gave him a tight hug.
“Where did you go and why was your phone unreachable babe?” I asked while still in his embrace.
“I'm sorry babe but I left when you were busy working on your laptop so I didn't want to bother you,” he replied calmly.
“Yes babe but I got freaked out when your phone wasn't reachable,” I pulled out of the hug and looked deep in his eyes.
“Haha babe I had stepped out for jogging and I think that's why my phone was unreachable because I went up the hill and the weather outside is really messy,” he cupped my face and kissed me.
“Okay babe, well be back,” I kissed him back.
“I think we should head to our bedroom babe,” I wrapped my feminine hands around his hard waist.
“Is Halsey asleep already?” He asked.
“Yes babe,”
“Oh okay,now it's our time,” he sparked my ass and I covered my mouth so that the scream doesn't come out so loud.
“Goodnight Alma,” I wished her as we walked passed the couch where she was sitting.
“Damn! I didn't notice that she was sitting there when I walked in,” he whispered.
“I was there with her this whole time babe,”

We entered the bathroom and he first went into the bathroom to take a bath since he's from jogging as I waited for him from the bed.
