Ava's p.o.v Today I had a bachelorette party later in the evening after work…my secretary Ann was getting married next week and she begged me to be part of it even though we weren't that close yet and mostly this party is attended by close girlfriends of the bride to be. It clocked 5pm in the evening and I was finalising work on my laptop when I heard a knock on the door. “Yes come in please,it's open,” I said while typing. “Ma'am,don't tell me you're still working! It's time to leave now,” she came and stood beside my desk while staring at my laptop. “Ann calm down,I'm just here winding up so don't panic,” I closed the laptop and looked over at her. “See,I'm done…now tell me what's the plan?” I asked while packing my laptop in the bag. “Well,we are first going to pick up our outfits from the store,” she replied “Oh,I thought you had picked them up yesterday like you planned?” I got up from my seat with my bag. “Uhm,yes I went there but she had not customised them yet so I instructed her to put some words at the back of each gown,” she replied. “Words like?” I was dumbfounded “The bride’s best friend,the bride's sister,the bride's aunt…among others,” she replied. “Let me guess,mine has,the bride's boss?” I asked as I walked towards the door. “Haha yeah,you got that right,” she replied with a smile. We stepped out of the office and I locked it then we moved to the parking lot and I sat behind the driver's seat while she sat in the passenger's seat. “So you give me the directions please to the store because I don't know the way,” I started the engine and she told me to turn left. The store wasn't far from our office,it was roughly a fifteen minute drive. We reached the store and after pulling over,we stepped out of the car and walked inside the store. We found other girls there waiting for us and when they saw Ann,they all seemed happy and they walked up to us then they gave her a hug one by one. There were eight girls then plus the two of us which added to ten…I started feeling out of place because I personally don't have any friends and I hate social gatherings. “Guys,please let me introduce you to my boss,Ava…Ava,please meet my girls,friends and family,” she held my hand and pulled me closer. I started shaking everyone's hand while greeting them and to be honest,they all seemed nice. “Guys,I'm glad you all kept time so let's go inside for fitting one by one please,” Ann requested and we all got somewhere to sit as we waited for our fitting in turns. The shop keeper called out names like,the bride's sister then her sister stood up to go into the fitting room. I was the last one to be called and when I heard,”the bride's boss”...I moved into the fitting room and they really did a good job with these night gowns because they were perfectly fitting. The nine of us,our gowns were baby pink while for the bride it was white which made it outstanding. “Guys,I guess we are done here right? Now please let's head to the venue because I don't want us to take much time there,” Ann said out loud and we all packed our stuff and left the store. She sat in my car with one of her sisters then the rest used the other three cars that were there. We reached the five star hotel Ann had booked and we moved to the last floor in a room which was beautifully decorated with white and black balloons that were stuck on the ceiling and also on the king size bed. It gave the room that cozy feeling though this was my first time to attend such a party so I didn't know what to do next. I saw the girls moving into the washroom and before I knew it,they came out dressed in their gowns from the store. “Ma'am,is it okay if we change at the same time?” Ann snapped me out of my thoughts. “Yeah sure no problem dear,” I replied. Everyone was done and now it was my turn and Ann to get changed so we both moved to the washroom and I quickly entered one of the toilets with my bag and starter changing. I think I took a lot of time there because when I stepped out,I found Ann waiting for me there fully dressed up. “Are you going to do some makeup?” she asked. “No,I don't think so because it will take me some more time here,” I replied. “It's okay Ma'am,I can wait for you if you want,” she suggested. “Oh come on! You don't have to do that…I'm good,I won't apply anything but if you want to do some makeup then I can maybe help because it's your big day,” I replied “Oh okay then,please help me out,” she agreed. She gave me the products she uses then I started applying them on her face and by the time I was done with her,she was totally changed and nobody could beat her face look! We stepped out of the washroom and everybody was mesmerised by her new look. “Guys calm down,you all can go and take makeup classes from my boss after here haha,” she teased them. “Woah Ava! You're really good with brushes,” her sister complimented me and I thanked her. Everyone praised me and it just left a warm smile on my face. They made her sit on the bed with her eyes closed then the rest of us surrounded her. “Kill the lights please,” one of the girls said out loud. “Guys,what's happening?” Ann asked “Keep your eyes closed please,this is a day that doesn't come everyday in someone's life so sit back and enjoy the show,” one of her friends replied. “What's happening next now?” I whispered to one of the girls next to me who switched off the full light and turned on the dim one. “A special guest for Ann is coming in now to entertain her,” she giggled. “A special guest?? What do you mean??” I asked back in a low tone. “Turn on the soothing music please,” one girl ordered and some other girl did as she said. “His name is Ceasar,you will like him…just wait and see his performance,” she whispered back then the door swung open and all the girls screamed when a manly figure walked in
