After the call with Sophia I proceed to file out the paperwork and review our companies dealings. Hours passed and I was already getting exhausted, the door opened without a knock and Damon walked in his face so angry.

I had totally forgotten that I had made him wait for too long. 

Asshole!

He fucking deserves it.

I adjusted my sitting position leaning back in my chair I looked calm but inside I was ready for a fight.

"You kept me waiting in your reception for four hours ," Damon said his voice tight with anger.

I looked at him my face blank. "Yes, I did. I thought I made it clear about my busy schedule? “

"You will regret making me wait Alyssa," he threatened taking a step closer to my desk.

I raised one eyebrow. "Will I? You seem to forget where you are Damon. This is my office, In my company. You do not tell me what I will regret I am the boss here. Not you."

He slammed his hands on my desk. "You can’t just stop our business deal… it’ll cause me my company!"

I laughed a cold hard sound. "Your company? I MADE you Damon! Or did you forget?"

"What are you talking about?" he snapped.

"All those years," I said standing up slowly. "All those big deals you thought you were so smart to get. The Johnson-Lee merger. The contract with Global Tech. You remember? You came home so happy so proud of yourself."

I walked around the desk to face him. "You never wondered why it was so easy? Why those companies suddenly said yes to your small, new company? It was me Damon! I called in favors. I used my family's name I made sure you got those deals, I did it all anonymously because I loved you When you won I felt like I won too I was building OUR future!"

He stared at mehis mouth open in shock. "That... that's a lie, everything I did was my own hard working, I worked so hard for it, you may have supported me emotionally but I did what I did and I built my empire"

"Is it?" I fired back. "And what about your family? Your mother, For seven years she insulted me, she called me poor. She said I was not good enough for you and I took it, I took all her insults because I loved you! I sacrificed my own pride, my own happiness, for you! And what did I get in return? Heartbreak and Betrayal! You and your mistress! You let her push me! You killed my babies! Out babies, babies that I later found out that you never wanted with me, you stopped be from getting pregnant Damon when all I did was beat myself for being incompetent, do you have any idea how much I question my love for you?”

My voice was shaking with anger now feeling my eyes begin yo sting with tears, but I refused to let them fall.

"I loved you," I whispered the pain fresh and sharp. "I gave you everything and you threw it all away in a single night"

Damon's face was red. "You think I care about your sad story? I don't, You are trying to destroy me now! You are a bitter crazy woman!"

"I did not want this!" I shouted. "I did not want to destroy you when you made my life a living hell at your company, I warned you I told you to stop! I told you that you would regret it! Even the night you sent me away with the divorce papers I gave you a chance to change it, I warned you that you wouldn’t want to do this but you did not listen, instead you kept pushing me trying to erase me by all means. Damon you had me thrown in jail and left me there to rote”

I was right in front of him now my finger pointing at his face.

"You did this to yourself Damon! You pushed me until I had nothing left, you created this... this monster you see now! The ice queen! The woman who will show you no mercy! You made her so do not stand there and act surprised that I am finally fighting back!" I breathed out heavily, finally letting a load off my chest.

"Alyssa…” he paused unsure of what to say, he hissed “You will not get away with this," .

"I already have," I said my voice cold and final. "Now get out of my office our business is done and if you ever come here and threaten me again I will have security throw you out on the street. Do you understand me?"

He stared at me for a long moment his eyes full of hate before without another word he turned and stormed out slamming the door behind him.

I stood there alone in my big office my whole body shaking. 

If he think ending business affairs with his company is the only thing coming his way, he needed to think twice. I will make sure I pull out all investors from his company, every single one of them, till his company is left to crumble.
