t was funny how I thought that my life was going to end in a couple of months  that had just passed but here I was , happy,  alive and healthy and  I was even beginning to forget about all the incident that happened over the past few months even though I do not wish to think about it , it just keeps coming back  and it’s more like a memory  that’s stuck in my head .

“ don’t tell me you  stood  here waiting for me ?” Elsa asked me as she  came out of her car .

Elsa wore a mini ripped Jean and a black  crop top to match with her  hair packed  in a ponytail , that only told me that she wasn’t having it and wasn’t in the mood for any convo .

I watched her get to  where I was  and when she did , I hugged her .

“ You look pretty today “ I told her and she smiled showing every  tooth  that she had in her mouth .

“It’s so nice hearing you compliment  me “ 

I raised  my head up trying to understand what she was saying .

I know that the both of us had fought a lot but  I  just can’t deny the fact that I have  complimented her quite a number of times and I have lost  count of all the times that I said those words  to her 

It was already 6pm and I was Angel yet  to come  and that was the only reasons why I sat out .

“ why don’t we go  in? Mom said that she made lunch and  was the one who told me to come this early and  come  help her in the kitchen .

“Well elsa you can go in , I would just wait  here , you know I told you that Angel would  come  back anytime soon  , , she  just called me and  told me that she was already here and would be coming to say hi in the next few minutes .

“ you don’t have to worry about me  getting my face swollen up or being mad , but don’t worry baby , I would be of my best behavior, I don’t even care if  I am jealous and I hate sharing my baby , I have to reasonable , it’s not as if I haven’t gotten  my own friends  too .

I smiled hearing her say that as she walked back into the house .

I didn’t know how long I  had been waiting for this girl to come  but when I saw  the car drive  into the compound , I knew that she  was here and just as I had thought it was her  .

I didn’t know when I screamed and jumped at my feet and ran to hug  her .

That familiar scent came back and hit my nostrils , it was the best that I had ever had .

“ thank you for coming baby , thank you for coming to meet me  , I love you and I missed you so much “

Angel just smiled and hugged me back  and that was when I noticed all the good  stuff that she got .

I didn’t know if I was happy or not , but some months back , I found out that her parents were literally doing fine and were not doing bad the way I thought , she was the one who just decided to act broke .

I got all this stuff for  you, “ she said and handed me the bag .

I smiled and hugged her again as she carried the flower bouquet , I didn’t need anyone to tell me that it was for  mom .



Thank you so much baby , thank you , you are such a sweetheart “ mom kept telling Angel as she hugged her .

I could see the love in mom eyes  , I knew when that woman was pretending but she wasn’t but instead she was so happy .

“ it’s a good thing that you love them mama , I wish I had gotten something more for you “ 

“‘Well it’s seems like I am in invisible “

Shusn said to her as he sat on the dining table beside me .

This was the first time since we returned that we would be sitting together in a while .

Mom had asked me to sit there and Elsa  took her spot while Angel sat beside one .

“ I am sorry sir for not bringing anything for  you but when I asked Rissa  for what you would  want  , she  told me that she didn’t know .

Shaun's eyes turned to me surprised .

“Is that true dear? “

I tried my best not to raise up my head and stare at him because I knew how much  his  looks  made me feel   .

“ I was being sincere with her shuan  , but next time in a situation like this , I would make sure to ask you first so I don’t get the blame for it “

I said and he just chuckled .

Everyone started   Eating  their food and even forgot that we just had a discussion right now .

I didn’t know if this was it , but I think that my mom was having the best time of my life .

Seeing her happy  made my heart swell with So much  joy that I would ever think of .

I just love the fact that my family and friend  were all cool with each other
