FORTY NINE

I stared at her and burst into laughter causing her to look at me confusedly. Her forehead furrows while I continue to laugh. "I didn't know you were a joker, Charlotte! Silly, you made me laugh! But yeah, thanks for the little entertainment, fvck off!"

After I said that, I immediately walked away and left her behind. How absurd! She is Miss Ancestor's best friend and she cursed her? She must have been hallucinating. What a delusional person!

I am now in my room and I didn't try to talk with Miss Ancestor after Charlotte and I had a conversation. I was wondering why she just left me there without even telling me. This is the second time that she did this to me! Also, I love the cat that Charlotte was holding, I wonder where she got it.

I looked around when the class finally ended, I still needed to go back at three in the afternoon. I needed to go to the cafeteria first before trying to talk with Miss Ancestor. "Kalsey!" I heard Daisy shout causing me to stop and look where she was There she was, my good good friend.

"Why so late? I am hungry! Let's go now, there are so many things I wanted to tell you. Pay attention to it, alright?" she nodded to what I had said in response.

Both of us were now in line to take our food when I heard the four boys laughing causing all the people in the cafeteria to look at them while I? Of course, I am only looking at him, Karsen.

I turned away when I caught Karsen looking at me. I know for sure that he is mad at me for what I have done. Daisy and I were sitting at the empty table and started eating. "What is it that you want to talk about? I have been curious since the moment you told me! Now spill it. I want to listen."

"Well you see, I talk with someone who seems to be a bit odd and she introduced herself to me as my ancestor. She is a witch, Daisy!" She stopped talking and just stared at me. "I am telling the truth! She is really a witch. Only witches who know about magic or love potions, right? And she is trying to help me to make Karsen fall in love with me!" I exclaimed happily but Daisy's reaction says it all. She is not happy about it.

"I know you are mad, let me be. I wanted to do this. I wanted to make him fall for me again, just like before. I miss him, Daisy. You can't blame me." She started to put down the utensils and looked at me.

"I am afraid for you after hearing that, Kalsey. If it is true, I am afraid of your well-being. We might not know what will that witch do to you. You are my only friend and I don't want to lose you, Kalsey." I could feel her voice it was very genuine. I know this is very risky but this is my only chance. I don't want to waste it.

"I know that and thank you for your concern but I wanted to do this. I wanted it, Daisy. You don't know how much pain I need to endure after seeing him happy with someone else. I hated to see it. Everything that happened to us was just an accident and I don't mean anything! I don't have an intention to hurt him."

"Really, Kalsey? Yes, you may not intended to hurt him but you cheated and it is your fault. Moved on and stop doing that You are only making your life miserable! That woman that you are talking to might be a scam or something. What if she will try to control your body and use it to do something bad? Think of it, Kalsey! You are intelligent but you are very dumb and stupid when it comes to love!"

That hit me so much. I just smiled and continued eating. "Thank you really, Daisy. It still didn't change my mind. I will continue to do this. I will still make him fall in love with me."

After a moment, I saw the boys walking towards us and it seemed that they occupied the empty table beside us. I just let them be and continue what I was eating and listen to their conversation.

My heart aches when I hear them talking about Charlotte and how they were so happy to meet her. They even congratulate Karsen and Charlotte after knowing that they are dating. I heard Karsen's voice, I heard him how he talks about Charlotte. How he loves her so much and those words break my heart into pieces.

I wish I was the person that he is talking about.
