FORTY EIGHT

Kalsey

It's been weeks since that happened and Miss Ancestor is always scolding me! What can I do when Karsen didn't even let me touch him? As if what she orders me is easy to follow! Especially since Karsen is surrounded by the boys, I really can't touch him unless we are alone.

"Just an easy task you can't even do it, no wonder Karsen doesn't want you." And I am even sick of her voice! Wherever I went, I could literally hear her voice. I wanted her to get out of my mind! She's a pain in the ass!

"Can't you shut your mouth, will you? I am sick of hearing your voice. I needed to finish this schoolwork or else I would be dead! My parents will kick me out of the house for sure!" I rolled my eyes and quickly dropped the mirror. At peace at last.

I continued doing what I needed and I finished them all at six in the evening. From ten in the morning until now, I only sit all day. That is my daily routine when I do that cramming. Procrastination is my thing but at least I still got the highest score in our class.

I stretch my arms and make a crack in my back. I am very tired! I properly fixed the mirror to look at myself but I just jumped in surprise when I saw Miss Ancestor glaring at me. "Oh, you are still here?"

"Do you want Karsen to fall in love with you or not!? You are just wasting your time!" I could see her red eyes glaring at me causing me to feel scared a bit. Well even though she will try to hurt me, she can't. She's just in the mirror, I wonder what happened and why she's stuck in the mirror. Is she cursed?

"Can you relax a bit? Let us not rush all things. It is already six in the evening, I wanna rest. I don't want to waste my time either. My body needs rest, so good night!" Even though I don't eat lunch and dinner yet, I still decided to sleep. My body needs rest more than food, I can eat many food as I want tomorrow anyway.

Morning has come and I have already fixed myself to go to the Campus. I don't want to drive my own car so I have decided to let our driver drive me to school. I also wear glasses so I can still communicate with Miss Ancestor.

"So, are you gonna do it now?"

"Don't be excited too much, we are still not sure if we can take some hair from Karsen. Don't pressure, will you?" I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms as I looked at our driver who was looking at me in the front mirror confused as to who I was talking to. "What?" I raise my eyebrows causing him to press his lips and start the engine.

After a couple of minutes, the car was now parked and I immediately got out of the car. Right after I took a step to head inside the campus, I saw Charlotte waiting beside the school gate. "What is she doing here?" I ask myself. "Hey, that girl was Karsen's girl. Can you see her?" I asked Miss Ancestor but she was not responding and that is all I know that she is gone. Where did she go?

I remove my eyeglasses and walk closer to her. When she finally felt my presence she stood and faced me. "Kalsey! Finally, you are here. Are you late? If your class has not yet started, can I talk to you?" I raise my eyebrows at her looking at her from head to toe. She is a cheap girl, I don't know how Karsen fell in love with her. She is just a poor ugly girl!

"What are you saying? You think I will let you you talk with me alone?" I saw her press her lips as she stared into my eyes. "Can you talk? I am gonna leave you are just wasting my time!" I started walking away but she held my arms causing me to stop.

"Wait! There is something I wanted to tell you." I let her talk and look at her. "Is she— the woman is talking to you now? Is there something odd that happened to you?"

What does she mean? Does she know about Miss Ancestor? But how?

"It is not your concern whom I talking to. I didn't know your question would be idiotic just like you. Stop holding my arms, I needed to go!" I forcibly let out my arms from her grip and was about to walk away again but she held my arms, again.

"There is something I needed to tell you."

"Then dropped it off! I needed to go now."

"That woman will just use you and curse you, be careful. I know who I am talking about. You need to cut your communication with you or else your life will be in great danger. You don't know who are you talking to or dealing with."

My eyes widen after hearing that. Just like that mysterious woman, just like what she told me. Is she and Charlotte the same person? But I can't confirm it as Charlotte was with Karsen at that time so she can't be that mysterious woman.

I violently release my arms again from her hands. "Who are you to say that, huh? You're just trying to scare me, for what? To humiliate me from other people? You're a crazy ugly monster! Stop ruining my life!" I saw her clench her fist as she looked at me.

"You don't what that woman is capable of. I am warning you from her. It is best to leave her before it is too late. She will not help you with anything, Kalsey! She's just using you! I am saying this to save you!"

"Hey, how dare you say something like that to a person you didn't even know!"

"I know her Kalsey. I know her better than you." I laughed when she said that. Her face is hilarious looking at me seriously.

"How can you prove me that, huh?" She was having thoughts at first before replying but after seconds she speaks.

"She is my best friend and she cursed me."
