"Let's go to the other side, Red," I whispered to him, and fortunately Hiro knew what I wanted to convey, so he quickly listened to me. Although there is something in his heart that he doesn't want to do, he is forced to follow me.
"But, Mom, I want to go there." He complained, yet I pulled him out there, darn it! How could he manage to be at that place with a kid and Lethia? They are like a family with a child, so they air-punch the atmosphere that I was trying to hold on to.
"Red, listen to mom." I carried him and went to another store. "Let's go to the other side." Why didn't I expect that we could meet? But it was fast because they were ahead of us; maybe after his speech, they went to the mall.
There, I was satisfied that they couldn't go there anymore. We went around the whole art store and got the ones he wanted. Rayden and Hiro went to the instruments to speed everything up. We'll just meet in the parking lot if we don't meet here inside.
"Are you done, baby?" I ask Red, who is sweating profusely while taking his wishes. I wipe him using his little towel that I carry in my bag; he doesn't want to carry it, so I just let him. While he was busy, I was also busy watching that Raven might see us.
I was hoping Rayden didn't see his father, he was suspecting something about them.
"Mom, let's pay." Red sniffed his cart with only the things he wanted to buy. "I made two because Rayden might like it," he giggled, excited.
"Oh, how sweet my baby is." He smiled with his teeth out, so I was very pleased.
I can give everything for them; even if I get old early because they don't ask, it doesn't matter. I can also give up everything just for the sake of my two kids. I was invested in my two cute children.
After paying, we went straight to the parking lot, and that's when we saw the two of them. They were both quiet and waiting for us. Red called them and waved. Hiro's eyes sparkled because he knew someone was about to break his silence. Even though he put his face into an annoyed face, he still couldn't deny his eyes.
"Are we that long? Red is slow to shop."
"Mom! There's a line; that's why it took us so long," he replied. I just laughed, and then we got into the car. This time, Rayden sat next to me in the back seat and Red in the passenger seat because he was going to make his uncle irritated.
As we were leaving the parking lot, I saw Raven and Lethia laughing inside the car. I looked away. I saw Hiro's sympathy in the rear mirror.
"Everything was okay, Hiro," I told him before he could even speak. I don't want him to feel sorry for me, because everything is fine with us, so what is he worried about? But even so, he still didn't lose his pity for me, so I just laughed. "Don't look at me like that, Hiro."
"Mom, is Uncle Hiro fighting you? Can I fight him too?" Red asks permission, which makes us laugh; he is too innocent.
"No, baby, it's an adult thing."
"Rayden and I are adults too, right, Rayden?" He even looked at Rayden, who was amazed by his little Cielo. "Hey Rayden,"
"Yeah, Red," he turned to look at me, "we're already adult moms. We eat vegetables and fruits, sleep early, and follow your orders."
"How cute you two are," I kissed on top of their heads. "I love you." I whimper to both of them.
We got home, and we each did our own thing. The two unpacked their shopping and shared everything. It's good that I practice them to be shared with everyone as long as they have them. I am proud to say that I raised my children right despite everything with Hiro, of course.
"The kids are delighted, and it looks like they can't take two of their purchases," Hiro told me while I was preparing our meal. I was taking a class on this kind of practice because I was being scolded by the doctor when I was just feeding the children who were not healthy. That's when I started to take a lesson on how to cook because no matter what I watch on YouTube, I still haven't learned anything.
Good thing I'm getting better, which I find an achievement. Everything was an achievement in my life, no matter what. That was the best thing for me. Every time I make them joyful, I also make myself content. Well, things always work when you try to do better.
We ate when I finished cooking and prepared the necessary things. Then Hiro did the washing up, and I played with the kids. We went through a lot of crises in life, and when we finally achieved this kind of life, everything started to feel as if we were even more delightful as always.
"Now, let's go and take a half bath to fall asleep." I told my kids; fortunately, they were obedient, so they immediately followed me. I accompanied the two of them; they were still playing, and it seemed that you couldn't get rid of them, and they also read me, so I also joined in the half bath.
We were so fine. We don't need anyone, just us; we are already content. I dress them, tell a bedtime story, and kiss their foreheads when they finally fall asleep. I also put a blanket above them, folded it until their chest and turned off the light, leaving only the lamp to light the room.
I went to the kitchen first. I don't know, but I need to drink, even just a little bit. I feel like I want to warm my throat this time.
"You want to drink?" Hiro was ahead of me in going to the little bartender because he had already drunk half.
"Why are you drunk? Any problem?" I asked him instead. He didn't nod or shake his head; he just swallowed the contents of the glass.
