"Dad, should I call the other bosses?" She asked.

Lincoln shook his head, "Ask commander Richard how much money he needs I'll open a private account for him but you don't need to tell Bremo about that"

Arci smiled perfectly.

Her plan worked perfectly.

"Okay, thank you dad," she smiled.

She went back to her room and quickly told Richard to tell him the good news.

"Hello," Arci said.

"Hi, do you miss me already?" Richard teased her immediately.

"Knock it off, I want to tell you some good news. Go ahead and open an account. Don't worry my dad has agreed to give you some money" Arci told him.

"Okay, I got it," He replied.

She hung up immediately so he wouldn't tease her again.

Her phone rang immediately.

It was Richard.

She picked it up.

"Hello"

"Let's meet at the usual place," He said.

"Okay" she replied and hung up.

She took a taxi there and met him already waiting.

She sat down next to him.

"What is it?"

"You gave me such a large sum of money, how did you persuade your dad?" He asked her curiously.

"I didn't give you the money for nothing, you have to promise me something," she replied.

"Go ahead"

"I heard the Japanese chamber of commerce has acquired many Los Angeles cotton mills in Los Grande and Los Martinez and began to dump cotton in California. If one day they come to seize the market in Los Angeles i hope you can stand by my family side" She requested

"it seems you've already got a well laid plan after turning the tide, calculating lady. Aren't you going to be on your own? Are you going to share wealth and woe with the Lincoln family?" Richard asked.

Arci smiled," if one day you have to buy cotton padded and bandages from the American businessmen, will you still think I'm calculating?" She asked

"And you're not sincere as i thought" Arci replied

"Don't listen to what a man says, look at what he does," Richard told her.

"But why did you want me to guess something you could have explained clearly?" She asked.

"What do you mean by That?" He asked.

"You kept that from me and enraged me. Actually you were trying to sound me out. If I told Bremo about the dirty trick you and Runa played you wouldn't believe me anymore right? You gave film tickets to Bremo to sound him out tol if he had known you got money from the Lincoln family, according to his character he wouldn't have played along with you just to be on safe side, you let the staff of the translation office to take a several days off and asked me to translate the document for you if he had known your purpose he wouldn't have let you approach me. After those two times to sound me out you were sure I didn't betray you so you revealed to me that you need money to establish connections. If I was willing to help you get money, you would believe me for the time being if I refuse you would figure out ways to get money yourself. You look friendly and care about nothing, actually you don't believe anyone at all" She explained everything she analyzed, she just realized everything now.

"Why are you so smart?" Richard asked not denying anything.

Arci smiled.

"You are not completely sincere to me either, for example, that talisman" He replied.

"That talisman…" She dipped her hand into her pocket and brought it out, "We are partners. I prayed for blessings for you in the hope you'll be safe isn't that natural?" Arci asked.

Richard smiled and took the talisman from her hand.

"I'm not used to the way you speak," Richard said.

"Then get used to it from today on," Arci said.

Richard stared into her eyes. But her eyes were nothing but sincere.

"Don't look at me like that , you won't see schemes and plots in my eyes" She replied.

"I believe you

They parted ways.

Richard went back to his office. Immediately walked into his office. He saw Richmond standing in front of his office.

"What is the matter?" He asked him and walked into his office.

"Commander," Richmond said.

He noticed that someone came out from the corner. Immediately he felt someone jump on his back.

"Richard" Love said as she jumped on his back.

"Come down," Richard told her.

"No" she replied"

"Come down"

"No"

Richard glanced At Richmond, "Richmond come and get her off me" he said.

"Yes commander" he said and was walking towards them

"Do you dare to do that?" Love threatened him.

"No i don't" he stopped walking immediately

"Richard, do you miss me?" Love asked

Richard ignored her.

"You can't reply?" Love asked.

Still ignoring her, he walked towards the couch and dropped her on the couch then sat down opposite her

"Richard, are you still mad at me?" Love asked meekly.

He didn't respond.

Love bite her lower lips.

"I know i was wrong but to think it over i just lost my head over Lost" she said cheekily.

She stood up from the couch to sit beside him. Richard quickly put a distance between them.

"But I don't think it is a big deal," Love said.

"You are a girl, how could you say that you lost your head over lust? I don't even bother to scold you" Richard finally replied.

"Richard, you are commander of Los Angeles now, do you think I'm a disgrace to you as your sister?" She asked.

Richard gave a nod.

"You really think that way?! I'm telling you in this life I can't change. How about you let me go to school in another place?" She suggested if he agreed she would go to Stanley city so she could see him everyday.

"I knew you were up to something, go ahead" Richard said.
